Psychological stress of selected group of nurses at work
Setničková, Monika ; Jirkovský, Daniel (advisor) ; Haluzíková, Jana (referee)
Bachelor work focuses on the perception of mental stress of nurses working at the standard ward on the Internal and Surgical cloníc of 2nd Fakulty of Medicine Charles University, and 3rd Surgial Clinict of 1.LF. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the definition of occupational nurses and the role for which it stands. The next section describes the definition of the concepts of mental stress and related types of stress, course and symptoms of stress, stress management and prevention. Are described somatic and psychological problems caused by chronic stress. After that there conclude in the theoretical part, there is burnout, which is the worst result in long-term effects of stress on the nurse. The empirical part of the thesis presents the results of a survey carried out by nurses at mentionet clinics in FN Motol. The questionnaire survey was conducted using a standardized questionnaire Meister, which determines the perception of mental stress. The aim of this thesis was to bring the findings of the questionnaire survey and propose improvements in this field. In addition to group and individual diagnosis of mental stress assessment and subjective perception of mental stress of a selected group of nurses. The aim was to present the results of a survey using primary and statistical...
Increase transportation capacity of bottleneck caused by traffic restriction
Matuszková, Radka ; Ščerba, Marek (referee) ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the behaviour of traffic stream at work zones. It focuses primarily on alternating arranging just before funnelling of the traffic and creation of congestions. The study of parameters defined in the Aimsun program, that examines their effect on alternating arranging in micro-simulation, is a part of the thesis. The right setting of values is verified on traffic model formulated on the basis of video recording. The work aims to minimize effects of necessary repairs and reconstructions of roads by the telematic applications which dynamically affect the traffic stream by changing the maximum speed.
Analysis of traffic lanes joining processes
Mikolášek, Igor ; Všetečka, Martin (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to analyse the behaviour of the traffic flow at an area of merging traffic lanes where an application of the zip rule is expected, accoding to the law no. 361/2000 Sb. “o provozu na pozemních komunikacích”. Žabovřeská street, part of the VMO Brno, in the direction from Královopolské tunely to Hlinky interchange was chosen for observation and measuring. Observation, first-hand measurement, radars, and other available means were used for data collection. On the basis of data analysis, several suggestions for improvements are made. These are aimed at increasing the bottleneck capacity. One of the suggestions is tested in a simulation program Aimsun.
Introduction of tolls in Prague from viewpoint interest groups
Hubená, Martina ; Vejchodská, Eliška (advisor) ; Geuss, Erik (referee)
This thesis examines the possibility of enforcing a toll in Prague's central region, which has long been struggling with congestion. The central objective was to determine how interest groups affect the problem of introducing tolls in the area of Prague. Interest groups underwent an analysis at whose beginning they were identified and searched out. A determination of its benefits and costs followed to rovide a more detailed assessment establishing the motivation and the influence that various interest groups may have. In this thesis, a relatively strong interest group from the corporate sector was identified, which would be significantly affected by the toll -- the providers of courier services. Experts anticipate an assumption of negative attitudes by this group to the introduction of tolls, which is also confirmed in the/an interview with the stakeholders.
Charging for road transport in London
Koscelník, Štefan ; Zelený, Lubomír (advisor) ; Kiovsky, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this work is to describe and evaluate the project of road charging in London. The theoretical part deals the issue of transport in urban conditions, its basic types, problems and possible approaches to tackling it. It also includes a description of the electronic toll systems as tools used to manage traffic in the city. The practical part deals with the use of video detection technology for road charging in London. It includes the preparation and implementation of the project, its basic principles of operation and adjustments made during the period of its operation. Followed by evaluation of the project in terms of impact on traffic, business and air quality in London. At the end of the work there are some recommendations for possible implementation of a similar charging system in terms of the city of Prague.
Evaluate the impact of introducing congestion charges in city center
HELCLOVÁ, Barbora
The present bachelor work evaluates the implementation and operation of the systems for road-toll collection and the introduction to the issues of negative impacts reduction mainly of urban transport by means of various tools. Basic traffic terms will be explained in the preface in the form of literary research, the development of road transport up to now will be outlined and its negative effects and required characters will be referred to. The second part of the present chapter explains the operation of various types of technology of the systems for road-toll collection in towns and will compare the introduced prices and the conditions of operation of this traffic system in the selected cities all over the world. The following chapter deals with the implementation and operation analyse of road-toll collection and the ways of its payment in the paid area of central London, comprising the description of the road-toll collection and the ways of its payment. The evaluation of the whole contribution of the implemented road-toll will be the result of the present chapter as well as the evaluation of the planned goals. The last chapter suggests and solves possible ways of implementation, operation and financing of road-toll system in the conditions of the Czech Republic.
Costs of transport in a company and possiblities of their decreasing
NEUMANNOVÁ, Veronika
The key subject of my thesis was costs of transport in a company. My goal was to analyze the way how a company set their price of transport as provided service. I tried to find the right height of costs of transport which would include all car costs and employee´s costs per hour in a company I chose on my own. Then I compared the correct costs of transport to the Value of Time. There is a huge amount of Value of Time studies available. The European approaches are more in line with congestion measurement and better transferable from one country to another as they reflect willingness-to-pay values rather than unit costs derived form macro-economic indicators. Finally the values of travel time saving proposed by the HEATCO project by country, mode, travel purpose and trip length. For comparison I used value of time recommended by institute HEATCO for business purposes. The result of my analysis showed that the company I chose doesn´t calculate the costs of transport in the correct way and the right height. So I suggest to change the way of calculating the price for transport from fix amount per kilometer to fix amount per hour. My solution would reflect the real costs of car, employee and time spent by travelling.
Základní principy v modelování dopravních toků
Šimáně, Čestmír ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Kořenář, Václav (referee)
Research workers started to investigate traffic flows already in thirtieth years of twentieth century. But it is true that in these times was minimal the number of vehicles on roads. However, at the end of fifties this number started to increase. So according to this it was necessary to find sophistry tools to their monitoring. More engineers interested in the theory of traffic flow and they started to describe interactions between vehicles through new theories and models. Nowadays, this work continues, because the number of vehicles on roads is still increasing. The aim of this thesis is to make reader understood the basic terms, quantities, approaches and models in theory of traffic flow.
