Cross-platform performance testing of open source PBX FreeSWITCH
Melichar, Ondřej ; Kováč, Dominik (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the open source private branch exchange FreeSWITCH. The thesis describes the process of installation and consecutive configuration of the telephone system on various distributions of platforms Windows and Linux. Emphasis is placed on comparison of the performance between these systems and also the quality of calls as well as transcoding functionality. Specifically, the performance of the telephone system is tested while using the SIP protocol. Thesis also contains an introduction into the subject and a brief description of the FreeSWITCH architecture and its functions and capabilities.
Performance Evaluation of Graphics Accelerator
Vanek, Juraj ; Drábek, Vladimír (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
My work is about performance evaluation of graphics accelerator by 3D scenes rendering. It focuses on how to test the performance of the accelerator from every point of view during the performance critical operations in 3D graphics. It deals with implementation problems of individual measures, their influence on total results and evaluation of the measurements. The final output of the application is a score, by which is possible to judge what performance is giving the accelerator in comparison with others. For this comparison is available an on-line results database.
Comparison of Personal Income Tax in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Ireland
Bělousovová, Zdislava ; Jurajdová,, Hana (referee) ; Kopřiva, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis and comparison of personal income taxation in the Czech Republic and Ireland. The theoretical part includes general tax concepts, the next part of the work describes the Czech and Irish system of personal income taxation. The practical part of the work presents model examples to determine the tax liability of individuals in both countries with a focus on income from employement. The last part of the work includes the possibilities of tax optimization for the Czech taxpayer.
Concept of an In-line Spark-ignition Engine
Kočvara, Antonín ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This thesis deals with comparison of straight four-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 1,5 litres and its three-cylinder alternative, which is based on a four-cylinder. The thesis starts with a research, where are examples of some currently manufactured engines. The research is followed by design of both engines, where the design of the crank mechanisms is made more in detail. After that, both crank mechanisms are subjected to dynamic analysis using FEM and MBS methods. The thesis ends with comparison of both engines in terms of crankshaft load, mass and dimensions.
Comparison of Two Audio Examples as an Android Application
Zhantemirov, Sultan ; Beneš, Karel (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an implementation of an Android application for comparison of two audio examples by using special technics. The goal of the fnal program is a simple demonstration of comparison algorithm and it’s acceleration. The frst part of this thesis is concerned with theoretical analysis and suggestion for the comparison, while following parts review implementation, acceleration and testing of the algorithm in scope of final demo application.
Analysis of Physical Education and Sport at the Brno Universities.
Alexová, Veronika ; Lepková, Hana (referee) ; Drnek, Jiří (advisor)
Theme of my bachelor´s thesis is analysis of selected activities of physical education department in Brno universities. The analysis of this issue is based on the prepared questionnaire. The collected data are processed, evaluated and they are accompanied by the relevant recommendations and conclusions.
Comparison of measurement accuracy of optical and 3D kinematic system
Surkoš, Ondřej ; Adamík, Richard (referee) ; Kundera, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the accuracy of two instruments for measuring the vertical jump, using a different measuring principle, namely "Optojump next" and "BTS Smart DX". In the theoretical part, the individual devices are discussed, on what principle they work and are compared with each other. In the practical part we deal with the methodology, processing of measured data and evaluation of the results of measurements.
Comparison of Personal Income Tax in the Czech Republic and Sweden
Navrátilová, Pavla ; Pečeňa, Evžen (referee) ; Brychta, Karel (advisor)
The Bachelors' thesis is focused on taxation of personal incomes. It deals with the comparison of personal taxation in Czech republic and Sweden. The Bachelors' thesis also involves a comparison between the taxation systems used in these countries. In conclusion of this thesis there is the theoretical knowledge demonstrated on illustrative examples in the practical part.
Comparison of the Mortgage Loans Market in the CR and UK
Clustering of Biological Sequences
Kubiš, Radim ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
One of the main reasons for protein clustering is prediction of structure, function and evolution. Many of current tools have disadvantage of high computational complexity due to all-to-all sequence alignment. If any tool works faster, it does not reach accuracy as other tools. Further disadvantage is processing on higher rate of similarity but homologous proteins can be similar with less identity. The process of clustering often ends when reach the condition which does not reflect sufficient quality of clusters. Master's thesis describes the design and implementation of new tool for clustering of protein sequences. New tool should not be computationally demanding but it should preserve required accuracy and produce better clusters. The thesis also describes testing of designed tool, evaluation of results and possibilities of its further development.
