Internet of Things with PNVM-Based Nodes
Korejtko, Tomáš ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis focuses on Internet of Things (IoT) and open-source technologies based on it. Specifically aims at software solutions relevant to smart home and compatible with Raspberry Pi platform and MQTT communication protocol. This thesis also focuses on studying Petri Net Virtual Machine (PNVM) and its potential application in IoT. The objective is to design integration of PNVM into IoT with help of existing software means compatible with MQTT and implement a demo application for smart home.
Weather station for smart home system
Mitter, Martin ; Burian, František (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This semesterly thesis deals with designing of weather station whose task is to provide via wireless data transfer on Wi-Fi network up-to-date information of measured temperature, barometric pressure, relative humidity, ambient light, wind speed and directions to smart home system, whose job is to store the values, creates its visualization for users and based on the data regulates the systems. The work describes the selection of suitable sensors for those variables and the design of the structure of the hardware part of the weather station. Theoretical parameters of the proposed solution are compared with the competition. Then the whole system is build and tested.
Smart houses, smart cities
ŠVEC, Ondřej
The diploma thesis is focused on the concept of smart houses and smart cities. The aim of the work is to find out the actual use of new technologies in selected buildings and to recommend other suitable solutions for the near future. The output of the thesis is own strategy for Smart City České Budějovice.
Smart house
Král, Adam ; Pech, Ondřej (referee) ; Mauder, Tomáš (advisor)
This bacherol’s thesis is describing, how is technology getting into our households and making smart homes. After defying, what is smart home and what is not deals with possibilities of their control, their effect on energy savings and raising of security. In the end there is an example of calculation of budget needed to reconstruct a house into a smart house and discussion about which direction will the trend take in the future.
Smart house in 2020
Tvrdý, Radek ; Prinz, František (referee) ; Mauder, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with smart home technology. The work is divided into research and design parts. The research part presents technologies of smart houses, their divisions, functions and possibilities of solving these problematics. The emphasis is placed on the energy concept of the house, especially the use of renewable energy sources and systems for treatment of the indoor environment. In the second part, based on previous research, a smart home design is created.
Design of Loxone system installation control for a house with PV plant
Kořínek, Tomáš ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with a management proposal of Loxone system installation for a family house with a photovoltaic power plant. The first part of thesis deals with the characteristics of the Loxone system and its individual devices. The second part is already focused on the design of the algorithm and the implementation of the lighting, shading, heating and indoor environment of the building control in the Loxone Config program.
Sub-sections of cost-effective building automation
Holoubek, Lukáš ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is a building automation in which the circuits are controlled by a single-board computer Arduino and the entire system is operated by a mobile phone. The theoretical part describes a single-board computer Arduino, its parts, functions, capabilities and communication with it. In the practical part, the controlled circuits are described, implemented and a functional model of a house is created. The model of the house practically demonstrates behavior of the controlled circuits simultaneously with a possibility to manage and influence the system using a mobile phone.
Internet of Things
Piškula, David ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the Internet of Things and some of the most important problems it faces today. Among these are the overdependence on the Cloud and lack of autonomy, poor security and privacy, complicated initialization and power consumption. The work aims to implement a complex IoT solution that solves the discussed problems. The project is part of a collaboration with NXP Semicondutors and will be used to showcase the company's technologies.
Human Presence Detection and Applications in Smart Home Environments
Smart cottage
Sýkora, Martin ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and implementation of a smart house system. The system is controlled by a logic module SIEMENS LOGO!, which provides object monitoring or continuous temperature measurement. System status is regularly logged. A web user interface has been created to transmit information and control the system by user.
