Construction of boom of loader Dapper
Gregor, Jiří ; Petráš, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the current kinematic mechanism of the DAPPER 5000 boom. The second part of the thesis deals with the new mechanism design. The new solution is also analysed kinematically and forcefully. The first part of the thesis is devoted to a description of the DAPPER 5000 and its parts. It is followed by a description of its boom, its analysis and comparison with the booms of competitive loaders. After a critical review of the various boom concepts, where their suitability for the DAPPER 5000 is assessed, a new mechanism for the DAPPER boom is designed. This is followed by a detailed analysis of this mechanism, a basic strength check and, in conclusion, the results of the analyses are summarized, and the meaningfulness of this structural change is evaluated.
Computational analysis of the steel-composite carrier of the machining center TM 2000
Zbožínek, Martin ; Obdržálek, Vít (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The main objective of the work was to perform a computational analysis of the hybrid (steel-composite) carrier and compare the results with the original metal carrier. Static analysis, modal analysis and frequency response were solved. Computation was performed for three different relative positions of the carrier. Static stiffness, natural frequencies and dynamic compliance have been calculated. The results were verified by an experiment performed on a scaled-down model of the carrier. Modern software products, namely MSC Patran, MD Nastran, Matlab and ProENGINEER, were used for the calculation.
Study of Order Processing at a Company
Šťastný, Jan ; Kopfová,, Alena (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the study of order processing at a company in company TNT Express Worldwide, Ltd. The theoretical part contains the basic concepts associated with the doctrine of logistics. In the analytical part, a second part, familiar with the company and its market activities. Last practical part deals with current order processing in the company and the benefits and shortcomings of the deployment sites for the new, larger premises in Brno export and import distribution center.
Selected issue of electric personal means of transport movement
Svoboda, Daniel ; Stáňa, Ivo (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis of current electric conveyors, especially those with automatic levelling, their construction, and their differences from other electric conveyors. The thesis also includes the legal regulations for this issue in different countries. The measurements made consist of a comparison of different passenger carriers in various practical tests, which tell about the real use of these vehicles in real traffic.
Design of Portable Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer
Filková, Adriana ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Fridrichová, Eva (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is a design of a portable fluorescence immunological analyzer for laboratory and healthcare facilities. The main requirements encompassed durability, ergonomics, and easy sample manipulation. Based on technical and design analysis, a custom design was developed, incorporating a stand for holding a testing mico tube, automatic slot opening, a touchscreen display, and an on/off button. The lateral sides of the product are ergonomically rounded and feature anti-slip grooving. To enhance durability, the touchscreen display is recessed into the top surface of the analyzer. The design of the resulting proposal is non-intrusive and meets the environmental conditions for which it is intended.
Study of influence of hydrophilic carriers on the solubility of a poorly soluble drug
Veselá, Eliška ; Šklubalová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Vraníková, Barbora (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of: Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Supervisor: Doc. PharmDr. Zdeňka Šklubalová, Ph.D. Consultant: Mgr. Jana Brokešová Student: Eliška Veselá Title of Thesis: Study of influence of hydrophilic carriers on the solubility of a poorly soluble drug The aim of this thesis was to enhance the solubility of a poorly soluble model drug meloxicam (MLX) by preparing binary interactive mixtures with hydrophilic carriers by simple mixing and co-milling. The mixtures were characterized for granulometric properties. The dissolution studies were carried out using the USP-4 apparatus assembled with a flow-through powder cell in an open-loop system. The dissolution rate rrel (min-1 ) and the amount of released drug mrel (%) were evaluated. The observable positive effect of carriers was registerred in terms of increasing the dissolution rate and the amount of released drug for both mixed and co-milled mixtures comparing to the raw drug. Mixtures with hypromellose were the exception; the improvement of the monitored parameters was not detected.

Liability of the carrier in international carriage of goods
Melkus, Robert ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee)
It is expected that the massive expansion of carriage of goods that went on in past couple of decades will soon resume after the worldwide recession. Due to its flexibility, speed, ability to deliver "door to door", low price and other positive qualities the most popular type of carriage is carriage of goods by road, which is also the type of carriage of goods that this thesis is mainly focused on. The goal of the thesis is to describe and explain legal aspects of international carriage of goods by road with a special focus on the liability of the carrier. The most important legal regulation that governs the area of international carriage of goods by road is the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (hereinafter the CMR Convention) that has been signed on May 19, 1956. It is an exceptional piece of legislation, which is in effect for more then fifty years with only two minor changes since its adoption.
Carrier's Liability in International Carriage of Goods
Machej, Jan ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Brodec, Jan (referee)
The purpose of this thesis was to analyse and compare isseu of carrier's liability in international carriage of goods. Thesis is devided in seven parts, which offers outline of carrier's liability in particular modes of carriage. First part deals with term contract for the carriage according civil code, parts of this contract as well as another contracts which aim is carriage. Furthermore deals with term liability and put outline of distinction among strict liability and liability for fault. Last subchapter of first part describes term carriage. Second part describes legal framework of contract for the international carriage of goods and specifies distinction among choice of law and direct method. Remaining parts refer to carrier's liability according international treaties concerned with particular modes of carriage, i. e. international carriage of goods by road, by rail, by air, by sea and by inland waterways. Bigger attention is dedicated to third part which deals with carrier's liability in international carriage of goods by road. Emphasis to this part is given, because international carriage of goods by road is the most frequently one - especially from Czech point of view. International carriage of goods by road is for sixty years ruled by CMR Convention which was amended only twice. This mode...
Liability of Carriage by Contract Types
Poláček, Bohumil ; Frinta, Ondřej (advisor) ; Lederer, Vít (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to describe and compare relations arising from carriage of persons or articles, namely liability of contracting parties according to individual contractual types. Another goal was to compare individual principles of liability. Kinds of liability of the contracting parties ensuring carriage services by the contract type are as follows: (1) carrier - carriage of the person (a) timeliness of carriage, (b) damage to health, (c) damage to baggage carried with the passenger, (d) damage to the article which the passenger had with him during carriage (e) damage to baggage carried separately from the passenger; (2) carrier - carriage of goods a) loss of consignment, b) destruction of consignment, c) damage to consignment, d) depreciation of consignment, e) exceeding delivery time; (3) operator; (a) incapacity of the means of transport; (b) damage caused by operation of the means of transport; (4) lessor - incapacity of the means of transport; (5) storage provider - storage and custody of articles; (6) freight forwarder - provision of carriage; (7) mandatory - informing the mandator about true fulfillment of his order. Reasons to be relieved of liability apply to all contracting parties providing carriage services. Reasons to be relieved of liability may be unprivileged (common...
