The first part of this diploma thesis is about late and current methods used in Engineering surveys. The theoretical part is focused on description of individual testing methods and their evaluation based on relevant standarts. Detailed description of diagnostic methods is dependent on methods used in a practical part. The practical part is focused on defining of material characteristics of used materials and way of reinforcing of reinforced concrete elements. Based on those defined pieces of information the static recalculation of girder and pile was made.

The main theme of this diploma thesis is a building survey and diagnostics of a reinforced concrete construction. In the first, theoretical part the focus lies on a description of each method for testing constructions and their evaluation. The second, practical part focuses mainly on finding of material characteristics and reinforcement of particular parts of the construction. On basis of obtained information, the final part of this paper focuses on static assessment of chosen parts of the construction.

Survey and Evaluation of Reinforced Concrete Structure

This diploma thesis focuses on the construction survey of the building where the University Cinema Scala and the Bolek Polívka theatre is located. The building will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2028 and its author is the builder Jaroslav Josef Polívka. The survey concerns reinforced frame constructions. The compressive strength of concrete cores and type of reinforcement was determined and non-destructive and destructive diagnostic tests were used. The first aim of the survey was to collect materials for a static report due to the planned superstructure but a visual inspection of the construction was performed and serious failures were found. For these reasons, the closure of the building was necessary. Last part of the thesis is the design of the reinforcement, if the same structure was designed according to the currently valid Eurocodes, but with the use of original materials; as well as a comparison of the designed reinforcement with the actual reinforcement.

This thesis deals with building survey and diagnostics of residential house in Brno, which since its construction showed extensive faults. The theoretical presents to the general issue of building technical surveys, diagnostics reinforced concrete structures and describes methods for diagnosis of reinforced concrete structures. Practical part deals with building survey and diagnostics of the object including static assessment. Overall assessment is given in the conclusion.

This diploma thesis deals with the position of diagnostics of reinforced concrete structures in the building industry. The theoretical part deals with the research of methods for practical part of this thesis and basic imagine of procedure. The practical part deals with the survey of an existing building, quality of concrete and reinforcement of elements. The last part is the static calculation of the selected element for the intended use of the building. At the end, the results of the construction and technical survey are evaluated.

This thesis deals with building survey of bridge register number 43-011 located near Česká. The part of thesis is literary reaserch dealing with system of management and cotrol of road bridges, precast bridge contructions made with DS-C type girgers and about general diagnostical methods. The practical section contains of in situ diagnostical survey and bridge inspection, laboratory evaluation and comparision, load bearing capacity calculation and suggestion of potencional technical precautions.

This diploma thesis is focused on building survey and evaluating the state of existing constructions. Process of evaluating the state of existing constructions and selected diagnostic methods are described in the theoretical part. The practical part is dealing with performed structural and technical survey of two industrial structures including evaluation of the strength of concrete and verification of the reinforcement. The final part includes assessment of both of the evaluated structures.
