The main aim of the thesis was to prepare worksheets concerning expositions of aquatic and marsh plants in already mentioned botanical garden, verify them on students and adjust them to final forms. The results of the thesis are two different versions (spring and autumn) of the worksheets as well as author's solution and methodological manual for teachers. Within the thesis I also implemented the questionnaire survey where I dealt with the issue of teaching the theme of aquatic and marsh plants at Czech grammar schools and examined the attitude of teachers to field trips during botany teaching. It is important that teachers know that teaching is not possible to realize only in the school environment. Botanical gardens are an ideal place to make practical biological excursions. According to FEP, it is necessary to teach botany in school. It is important that students know how the plant looks, in which community plant lives and which benefits it has for humans. The expected outcomes mentioned above are important and botanical gardens help with their fulfilling. In my thesis I describe the possibilities that are offered and realized by botanical gardens for school excursions.

Genus Aloe in the collections of botanical gardens in the Czech Republic
SZABÓ, Kristýna
This work is focused on growing the genus Aloe in botanical gardens in Pilsen, Brno, Prague and Teplice. The work was carried out in collaboration with botanists from these gardens who take care of this genus. Information was obtained through a questionnaire, on the basis of consultations and visits to exhibitions, or the growing facilities. The individual collections of botanical gardens were then compared with each other, in terms of number of species, species in CITES categories, ways of getting new plants, inclusion in families, reproduction method, the size of the area for cultivation and exhibition. There are four presentations in electronic form which are attached on the CD. Each presentation documents the collection of one specific garden. The data from Teplice botanical garden are not complete because of the few cooperative access of the staff of the garden.
