Energy audit of residential building
Kozáková, Petra ; Sýkorová, Iva (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the avaluating of the energy consumption of the apartment building. This avaluating is realized by the form of an energy audit (EA) and the demonstration of the energy consumption of the building (PENB). The building is reviewed in the term of energetics, economics and enviroment. The saving restrictions were designed within this audit to lead to lowering the energy needed for the operation of the building.
Energy evaluation of an administrative building
Stadtherr, Jan ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the energy assessment of an administrative building. The theoretical part is devoted to legislation for energy assessment – law, regulations and technical standards. The application of this legislation is provided in the calculation part as energy audit and energy performance certificate of the administrative building. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to application of computational softwares for analysing results of heat consumption in comparison with reality.
Energy performance of kindergarten
Mahovská, Adriana ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis elaborates two energy performance certificates of kindergarten in the variant for the current status and the new state. The theoretical part deals with solar collectors. Computational part contains specification of building structures and power systems. It always includes a comparison of the default and the new state. The economic assessment is determined by the return on investment in revitalization. As part of the mandatory analysis of alternative sources, a proposal for a solar system for partial hot water heating will be established. The project part contains two processed EPCs (building energy performance certificate) for this building.
Calculation of Energy Performance of Buildings
Hartman, František ; Maurerová, Lenka (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis in the first part deals with changes of energy assessment of the building by introducing decree 78/2013 and compares it with the previous decree 148/2007. In the next part are specified energy systems entering the calculations and individual computing procedures for determining the energy requirements for individual HVAC systems. In the last part is calculation of the energy performance of the building. As an evaluation mechanism was chosen, the energy performance certificate. There were dealt different variants of calculations in terms of data input. The results are shown in the comparative charts and diagrams.
Anglo-French defence cooperation as reaction to defence spending cuts
Zajíček, Jakub ; Váška, Jan (advisor) ; Čížek, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with military partnership of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with France at the time between the end of the Cold War and the signing of agreements to increase defence cooperation at conference in London in November 2010. This paper analyses the various factors that have contributed to the development of cooperation between these two countries and to aims to prove or disprove the thesis that the reason for an unprecedented convergence of Britain and France in the defence sector in 2010 are budget cuts, with which then British government responded to the economic crisis. This topic is divided into three chapters due to a need of separate analysis of individual factors. In the first part the study deals with the dynamics and development of military cooperation between both countries after the Cold War, with emphasis on the conclusions of the London summit in 2010. The second part analyses the financial situation of the Ministry of Defence in the period since 1990. The corresponding chapter examines the response and specific measures of the Ministry of Defence to a lack of resources to meet the required demands and the reasons why the development of cooperation between Britain and France had not occurred previously. The third part is devoted to the...
Financial Crisis in Economies with External Imbalances: A Comparative Analysis of Ireland and Spain
Semerák, Ondřej ; Váška, Jan (advisor) ; Young, Mitchell (referee)
The financial crisis of 2007-08 has had momentous consequences for most developed countries and triggered recession on the global financial markets. Consequently, economies with pre- existing deficiencies were hit in particular. In the European Union, especially two groups of member states with specific imbalances could be discerned. This thesis is intended to discuss the impacts on economies with external imbalances, where the crisis was not rooted in public finance profligacy. The main protagonists, Ireland and Spain, experienced resembling economic boom prior to the crisis, later accompanied by accumulation of foreign debt and real estate bubbles. Nonetheless, despite the strong similarities in their economic development their paths diverged after the bust, and Ireland has been given as an example for successful austerity. This thesis presents key determinative factors which differentiated Spain from Ireland in the reviving processes to discuss the hypothesis that the Irish recovery was generated solely by the implemented countermeasures and that it can therefore be considered a model for future crisis management. The objective of this thesis is to address this assertion and to evaluate its correctness using a detailed overview of structural specificities of the economies, as well as of the...
Rationalization of operational planning in production
Jansa, Slavomír ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present a proposal of austerity measures that will lead to a reduction of waste in an industrial enterprise in accordance with the concept of lean production. In the first part there is presented an overview of lean production methods and tools for increasing productivity, efficiency and quality of production process. In the second part of the thesis, the results of the analysis are submitted and proposals to implement austerity measures are made.
