Vibration energy harvester influence on vibration base
Nagy, Andrej ; Bajer, Jan (referee) ; Rubeš, Ondřej (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to describe the impact of the energy harvester on the vibrating base, while also showing the basic aspects of energy harvesting. We first describe the issue on the research side, where we explain the concept and real use of energy harvesters, we show their basic construction with pictures of models and graphs from experiments showing their behavior. We also show how energy harvesters can be optimized and improved. At the end of the research part, we describe how the energy harvester can influence the deviation of the base, and therefore why it is important to model the system with a feedback impact on the base. In the practical part, we derive a mathematical model using Lagrange equations of the second kind, which we subsequently use for numerical and analytical solutions. In the final part of the work, we analyze the influence of individual parameters of the energy harvester on the output power and base deviation with the help of Matlab and Simulink.
The influence of the diameter and depth of the hole in the whistle on the timbre and directionality
Borovičková, Barbora ; Mojdl, Edgar (referee) ; Jirásek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis examines the influence of the diameter and depth of the holes in the recorder on the timbre and directionality of the resulting tone. For measurements and subsequent data analysis, nine flute body prototypes were made from three different materials and with three different wall thicknesses. During the measurement, holes with different diameters were drilled into the prototypes. Thanks to this procedure, it was possible to separate desirable influences from undesirable ones. The measured data were analyzed in the Matlab environment.
Settlements in the Czech Republic and abroad
Rucká, Veronika ; Tichý, Jan (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor)
The first theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of basic concepts and the history of Czech housing estates. Then it focuses on private and public spaces in housing estates and on the typology of public spaces in housing estates. In the practical part, the bachelor thesis deals with six housing estates, three foreign and three from the Czech Republic, each time a pair of housing estates from the Czech Republic and from abroad from the same time period is selected, these housing estates are then analysed. The individual housing estates are first briefly introduced and then analysed in terms of transport accessibility, amenities, public space, floor space and green space. At the end of the thesis, all the settlements are evaluated, and from the knowledge gained from the analyses, one most suitable settlement for the current needs of the population is selected. Finally, the future possible development of the selected settlement is described.
Mechanics in Physics Olympiad tasks
PEŠTA, Adam
The subject of the Bachelor's thesis is the analysis of the contents of tasks from all categories of Physics Olympiads and the creation of a statistical perspective on the number of tasks from the field of mechanics and its subfields in individual categories. The analysis deals with selected ten retrievable years of Physics Olympiads. Based on the participants' results, category D was further analyzed in detail.
Analysis and evaluation of the payroll system in the selected company
KLÍPOVÁ, Kristýna
This thesis deals with an analysis and evaluation of the payroll system in a selected company. The research is conducted in a smaller company to identify various changes that could lead to higher employee productivity. The company is called Timéco s.r.o. and specializes in the production and installation of electrical switchboards and panels. The basic concepts and information on the given topic are characterized in the theoretical part of the thesis. The practical part focuses on the introduction of the company, its history, structure of employees, as well as the description and evaluation of the payroll system. Employee satisfaction is assessed through questionnaires. The satisfaction with employees and the operation of the company is determined by interview with the company's managing director. Subsequently, possible changes in the area of employee remuneration are proposed, leading to higher job satisfaction and efficiency.
Inventories in a Company
SICHINGEROVÁ, Helena
The bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of stocks, their valuation, stock records, inventory, financial analysis of stocks and accounting of stocks. Information processing was carried out using several methods - guided interview, observation, description, comparison, analysis, and synthesis. These methods were used in the selected accounting unit, which is divided into five divisions. The bachelor thesis is focused on one division. Both internal and external company (division) materials were used for the practical part of the work. Partial results were presented in tables and graphically expressed. A calculation of inventory valuation in the division was carried out using the applied fixed price method with deviation, further weighted arithmetic average variable and the FIFO method. Subsequently, an analysis of the stock records, the entire inventory process and inventory accounting in the selected division was carried out. The division was also evaluated from the point of view of the company's finances, using ratio indicators of inventory turnover and inventory turnover time.
Customer satisfaction of the selected business entity
SVOJŠOVÁ, Barbora
The bachelor thesis focuses on customer satisfaction of a selected business entity. The aim is to evaluate the current satisfaction of guests in the Hotel U Kapličky in Písek and to suggest recommendations to improve the service. The thesis begins with the theoretical part, where customers and their satisfaction are characterized, then the business entities and the specifics of marketing within accommodation and catering services are discussed. These pieces of theoretical information are then used in the analytical part dealing with the evaluation of guest satisfaction in the hotel environment. The practical part consists of a questionnaire survey and an individual in-depth interview with a manager to determine guest satisfaction. The final part contains suggestions and recommendations to improve overall guest satisfaction.
Sport Clubs Funding
PŘIBYLOVÁ, Valentýna
The bachelor thesis deals with the financing of sports clubs and sports organisations in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part the concept of sport is explained. The concept of association is explained. The conditions for its establishment and dissolution are mentioned. Sports regulations and rules are mentioned. Furthermore, the sports organisations that take care of the running of sports clubs are mentioned. Athletics as a sport is characterized, which is then divided according to disciplines, content and focus and environment. In the practical part of the thesis, the selected sports club is first characterized from its history to its present. Next, the income groups are mentioned, which are then analysed in a vertical and horizontal analysis. The expenditure of the club is also illustrated and the performance of the club in the years under study is also compared. In the last section, the results are evaluated. Finally, the non-profit organization was recommended additional funding options that would lead to an improvement in the financial situation of the troop.
Analysis of the Development of Prices of Construction Projects and Materials in the Territory of the Slovak Republic
Hopocký, Adam ; Ďubek, Silvia
In recent years, the global economy has developed unpredictably. This unpredictable and unstable development has also affected the construction industry, not only in the territory of the Slovak Republic, but all over the world. This unexpected development of the market, which has caused an increase in the prices of building materials and construction work, has also caused complications, and the slowing down and subsequent extension of construction time. The relevant authorities have tried to compensate for the impact by implementing certain remedial measures.
Nanoparticels from brake pads wear
Švábenská, Eva ; Roupcová, Pavla ; Friák, Martin ; Schneeweiss, Oldřich
Exposure to particulate air pollution has been associated with a variety of health problems. One of the main\nsources of metal-rich airborne particulate pollution in roadside environments are brake-wear emissions. The \nscanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Mössbauer spectroscopy \n(MS), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) was used to a make quantitative evaluation of wear particles in two \nsamples. Sizes, morphologies, oxidation state, and trace element compositions of wear particles were\ninvestigated using combination of several methods revealed high concentrations of Fe species and phases, \noften associated with carbonaceous material. SEM and TEM observations show that brake wear particles with \na size of tens to hundreds of nm mainly form particle agglomerates. However, ultrafine (<100 nm) particles are \nlikely to pose a health threat after inhalation and/or ingestion.
