The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to recommend measures for improving the current financial situation through a comprehensive financial analysis of the company Stavebniny Libor Smejkal, which specializes in the sale and purchase of construction materials. It also involves assessing the current economic state of the company and proposing solutions to identified deficiencies. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical, and proposal. The theoretical part describes the importance of financial analysis and methodological approaches for its execution. The analytical part provides a brief introduction to the company and conducts the financial analysis based on theoretical knowledge. In the final proposal section, based on the results from the analytical part, options for improving the company's economic situation are suggested. The company analysis covers the period from 2018 to 2022.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the economic situation of GRANDE, s.r.o. in the period of 2018-2022. The evaluation of the company is carried out by the means of strategic and financial analysis. The theoretical concepts and methods of analysis are defined in the first part of the thesis. In the second part, the concepts and methods are used for the practical analysis of the enterprise. Based on the analysis, recommendations for improving the situation of the enterprise are then evaluated and their benefits are defined.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topics of evaluating the financial situation of Brand Promotion CZ s.r.o. and suggestions for improving this situation. I worked with the company's financial statements from 2018 to 2022. Structurally, this work consists of two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part for a specific company. The theoretical part contains basic terms and indicators for financial analysis. Next, in the practical part, I calculate the given indicators and evaluate the subsequent results. In the last part of this work, I make my own proposals for improving the financial situation in the company.

Budget and Indebtedness of the City of Židlochovice

The diploma thesis deals with the budget and indebtedness of the city of Židlochovice. The first part contains theoretical starting points regarding the public sector and territorial self-governing units, describes their management, budgeting and indebtedness. The second part contains basic information about the city and the functioning of the city office. It deals with the management of the city, a detailed analysis of the income and expenditure side of the city budget for the year 2023, a description of the medium-term budget outlook drawn up for the period 2024-2028, and an analysis of the city's indebtedness for the period 2020-2023. In the third part, the possibilities of increasing incomes and the possibilities of reducing expenses are suggested, which should lead to a reduction of the city's total indebtedness.

In the next section, the described indicators and methods are applied to Skromet s.r.o. and a SWOT analysis is performed, in which the obtained results are summarized. The last part of the thesis is devoted to suggestions for improving the performance of the company.

The first part of the work characterizes terms important to the given topic, which the bachelor's thesis itself deals with. The second part is devoted to the calculation and evaluation of the indicators themselves using the methods mentioned in the theoretical part. The last part of the work is based on the results of the analytical part and its part is the proposal of measures that would lead to the improvement of the current financial situation.

The thesis can be divided into three parts, the first part is aimed at clarifying the theoretical knowledge. It describes the methods that can be used to evaluate a company and the next chapters are devoted to financial analysis indicators and strategic analysis. The practical part deals with the financial analysis of the company for the years 2018 to 2022, followed by the aforementioned strategic analysis. The last part is the actual implementation of the Balanced Scorecard method, which will help to improve the performance of the company.
