Storage system and store availability checking over the Internet or mobile phone is another part of the thesis. Finally, each suggestion and its financial contribution is summarised.

This part analyzes the current status using internal data to propose possible improvements.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of process automatization in the company ABB s.r.o, specifically in the warehouse 701, where the operated forklift is currently used. Based on the analysis, proposals are made to improve the current logistics processes taking place in the warehouse, to increase the quality of operations associated with the storage and removal of material, increase the use of labor capacity, improve workplace conditions, and increase occupational safety.

The proposal of the new logistics conception relates to the stocks of Schaeffler Skalica, spol. s r. o., which are stored in the consignment warehouse in Germany and are supplied by Chinese supplier.

The Study of Distribution Centre in Business Organization

This diploma thesis is aimed on problems of supply chain management with selected assortment. It is focused on particular ways of supply management with fresh meat, on the flow of goods from producer to final customer and analyze the impact on key performance indicators pursued by a company. In the first three parts of the thesis is described the logistics systém in Ahold Czech Republic. In the following part of the thesis, supply chain of selected assortment is analyzed in this particular company and also how it is defined in the logistics theory. It is followed by detailed analysis of the new logistic system which was proposed to launch, including the definition of critical points. Final part of this diploma thesis is devoted to summary of expected benefits and costs and to evaluation of this new logistics system according to actual results.
