Mařák, Dominik ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is based on previously developed architectural project established in the subject AG32 – Architectural Design Studio during winter semester in second year of Bachelor study, which was further more elaborated to the subsequent level of project documentation. The theme of this bachelor thesis is the design of new viticulture building for Prokeš winery production in the village Velké Němčice. Required task was to design building facilities for wine production, manufacture and storage, included with owner habitation, accommodation for guests, wine shop and wine tasting. The main idea of the design was to invent such a solution, which would fulfill functional and operating owner’s requirements. One building block was drafted on the parcel, which consists of all necessary operating areas interconnected among each other also the building is divided into the production, public and private area. The external design tries not to invade the neighborhood structure, but also shows modern concept of rural architecture. The mass of the building is connected to the external surrounding, and so it is conceptualized as two perpendicular blocks to each other, which differ in their operating areas and theses blocks are ended by the faces of the building outsized over roof ridge. Production area for manufacture and further processes such as storage and export of the wine is located in the basement, which is accessible from the handling yard. Northwest segment of the building is made with owner habitation on the first and the second above the ground floor and layout is created for four members’ family. Wine shop, wine tasting room and the facilities adjacent to these operating areas are located in the second part of the first above the ground level. In the second part of the second floor above the ground are placed three accommodation rooms and one barrier-free room for short-term stays, also there are cleaning room and laundry storage.

The bachelor thesis is based on a selected architectural study which was prepared in the winter semester of the second year for Studio of Architectural Design AG32 and elaborated to a design study in AG36. Here the project documentation for building construction is developed. The project designs a new Prokes Winery in the town of Velké Němčice. The winery produces, processes and sells wine products and accommodates overnight guests. The design also includes a family house for the winemaker, including secondary building structures such as fencing, paved areas and roads, utility grid connections, etc. The limiting factor was the HN air protection zone that crosses the land. The size of the building was based on the production capacity and the number of workers and visitors. According to the building program the building is functionally divided into the public and production part. The public part of the complex is designed to accommodate disabled people's movement. The goal was to design and construct a building that respects the surrounding area and does not appear out of place in its surroundings.

Strašáková, Anna ; Muroň, Ivo (referee) ; Ležatka, Lukáš (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the preparation of the documentation for the building permit and part of the documentation for the implementation of the building on the basis of the architectural study, which was developed in the subject AG35 (monument restoration studio). The theme of this bachelor thesis was to find a suitable concept for a new functional use, taking into respect the historical nature of the monument and its structural and technical condition. The project included the restoration of the whole area of the castle, for leisure use and the addition of parking spaces. The result was an architectural study of the restoration with an emphasis on viability and feasibility. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the gentle restoration of the building with an emphasis on its reuse with both new functions and elements. The castle has been enriched with an extension that adds more lively proportions, thanks to a stained glass window designed in the shape of a crutch, which is the emblem of the municipality of Velké Němčice. The chateau is designed to function as an office, but also as a rental space, a clubhouse, a library, exhibition space and ceremonial rooms. The entire building is designed to be wheelchair accessible, including the immediate surroundings of the castle.

Malínková, Valerie ; Muroň, Ivo (referee) ; Ležatka, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the restoration of a castle in Velké Němčice. The thesis builds on an architectural study carried out in the AG033 course of the Restoration of Monuments Studio. The task of the thesis is to create a complete project for the appropriate restoration and reconstruction of the castle and to propose its new utilization. At the same time, the thesis focuses on the solution of the castle's immediate surroundings. The object of the solution will be designed as a socially cultural object with administrative functions. The castle should serve as a new town hall, and in accordance with this, the following rooms will be created in the castle: a ceremonial hall, information center, mayor's office, secretary's office, registry office, accountant's office, archive, library, club room, refreshment facility, and interactive room. To achieve the implementation of the new operation in the castle, the correct restoration of the historical object is necessary. Using surveys and historical sources, I examine the architectural values and construction of the building. I strive to preserve historically significant layers, remove intrusive modern elements, and return the object its original expression. With the help of new technologies, I also strive to preserve the building for future generations. I propose minimum use of modern structures and elements, and therefore mainly focus on proper reconstruction and restoration.

Danková, Andrea ; Špiller, Martin (referee) ; Guzdek, Adam (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the restoration of the chateau in the village of Velké Němčice. The documentation is based on an architectural study processed within the subject AG033 Studio of Architectural Creation - Restoration of Monuments. The chateau is located in the historical center of the village, where it has been standing since the second half of the 16th century. It will primarily be used as a village office, but it will also have associated functions - an information center, a ceremonial room, a cafe, room for local associations and a municipal library. As part of the project, the wider area around the chateau will be transformed into an area worthy of the cultural and historical center of the village. The space will be modified as a park, which should be used for the recreation of local residents, at the same time, parking spaces and space for seasonal markets will be prepared. The proposed object has a U-shaped floor plan (the middle wing is on the east side, the other wings are north and south). The building has one underground floor, two above-ground floors and an attic. There is a hipped roof over almost the entire floor plan. Currently, part of the chateau is an extension from the 20th century in the central part of the western facade; however this extension will be removed. An extension with the function of a library will be added to the northern wing of the chateau. This extension will follow the historical building in its form and size, but the materials of its structures (glass facade, reinforced concrete skeleton support system) have been chosen so that the extension has a contrasting effect.

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the restoration of the chateau in Velké Němčice. The project is based on the subject AG033 - Architectural Design Studio 3 - restoration of monuments. The origins of the history of the castle in Velké Němčice probably date back to the middle of the 16th century when the original gothic fortress was rebuilt into a renaissance castle. The chateau has changed many owners over the centuries and has been rebuilt many times. During the second half of the 20th century, it was used for some time as a elementary school, then even as a small textile production or restaurant. At present is the chateau without usage. The current town councillors are planning to buy the castle from the state and use it as a municipality office of Velké Němčice. The project will also conclude the area around the castle, which should become a worthy cultural centre of the village. The area will work as a municipal park to be used for the recreation of residents. An important part of the project is adding of the greenery, new pavements, and central paved area for outdoor cultural events and the addition of benches or a children's playground. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design the complex restoration of the chateau in Velké Němčice. However, the historic appearance of the chateau and the overall genius loci should be preserved. The castle will be treated as a historically valued and protected building.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a new cultural center in the village of Velké Němčice. It is located right in the historic center of the village. The current building of the cultural house does not sufficiently serve its purpose and its revitalization is necessary. The building, built in the 1960s, is one of many cultural facilities of this type. Over time, various extensions were added to the site, which are responsible for the incomplete appearance of the building. The aim of the work was to check the possibilities of designing a new cultural center that would better serve the people od Velké Němčice. It can be an example of how to deal with this type of building, which is located in all corners of the Czech Republic. Emphasis is placed on the functionality and variability of spaces, which should create a multi-purpose cultural background of the village with a community character. It should be the best place for the locals and their hobbies and clubs. The building also responds to the context of the structure of the village and tries to integrate into its surroundings. The proposal was also preceded by an urban study of the village center itself and its square, which is also the cultural center of the village where its social life take place. The multifunctional cultural and educational center includes many new functions that should help the further development of Velké Němčice.
