Concept of hybrid telescopic handler with a modular platform
Krejčí, Jan ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis shows the possible future development of hybrid telescopic handlers with modular platform. In the first section is an overview of technologies, which are used in today’s manipulation, transport and construction machinery. The second part is focused on the concept which uses described technologies. There are mentioned aspects, why are these technologies useful for the telescopic manipulator. There is shown a modular platform as a new way of designing.
Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Analysis
Slaběňák, Patrik ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Nowadays, oil resources start to decrease, therefore it is necessary to think about alternative sources of energy. The result of this semester project is a basic overview of the current development of electric and hybrid cars, with potential application in normal operation and the proximity of their main characteristics, such as mileage, price and service when traveling. The energy required to operate the electric stored in batteries are recharged using the power stations, which is also devoted part of the work. The thesis focuses on the design and calculation of power consumption for a defined route of four-wheel electric wheelchair. The conclusion of the thesis deals with the future development of hybrid and electric vehicles, and with the expected trends in the field of power electronics and motors and with the propagation of hybrid vehicles to the customers.
Kinetic energy motor vehicle recuperation
Hajer, Václav ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Rasch, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of recuperation of kinetic energy in motor-powered vehicles. It also includes types of recuperation systems and basic description of their function. Aplication and examples of recuperation systems are introduced in second part.
Hybrid drives of city buses
Hodas, David ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with an integration of hybrid buses in a public transport. It evaluates their environmental impact and possibilities of an application in traffic. Types of hybrid drives, system components and their interaction could be found here. It is focused on current status and chances of future development. In the final part there are economical aspects connected with bus transport.
The present state and development trends of passenger car hybrids engines.
Štěnička, Petr ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Rauscher, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis treats of the present state and development trends of hybrid propulsion of passenger cars. It contains brief historical summary of hybrid cars, their general partition, its main components and a summary of types produced nowadays. The whole thesis is focused on main principles of this propulsion and there is also a comparsion of advantages and disadvantages of main constructional solutions.
Electric and Hybrid Vehicles
Kosík, Jaroslav ; Mikulčík, Aleš (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis is specialized on obtaining basic piece of electric and hybrid vehicles and their development. The first part of the work deals with electrical vehicles, their history and the possible development of these vehicles can take. In the next section is an example use of electric vehicles in the practical traffic. It is stated these vehicles compared with vehicles using the type of propulsion, such as cars with combustion engines or hybrid vehicles. At the end of chapter is supplemented by specific examples of photographic electrical vehicles. The third part of the work deals with the expected development of electric and hybrid vehicles. There is also a description of hybrid vehicles, and their comparisions with other vehicles using the drive as well as other examples of hybrid vehicles.
Electric motors for support of turbochargers
Kytner, Václav ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with turbocharging of combustion engines. In particular the characteristic of turbochargers and superchargers assisted by electric motors are described. According to novelty of these concepts, the author endeavours to adumbrate the main issues connected to subject from available sources and he outlines a possible application of these new technologies in future.
Recuperation systems in automotive technology
Běhoun, Lukáš ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the methods of energy recuperation in the automotive technology. The first section explores the historical development of the recuperation systems spanning from the end of the 19th century to the present day. The second section is following with the division of the recuperation systems in accordance with the method of their energy storage and their transmission. This is consecutively supported by three examples of use for each of the systems. The third section offers a comparison of the individual cumulative units. Furthermore, it offers a comparison of all the types of systems used in bus transportation. The fourth section analyses the fuel consumption by a bus without a recuperation system and by an identical bus with the Bosch Rexroth recuperation system. This is supported by calculations. Subsequently, the above systems are scrutinized from an economical point of view. The last part deals with the possible development of recuperation systems in the future.
Modification of pump for turbine regime
Jahn, Jan ; Veselý, Jindřich (referee) ; Haluza, Miloslav (advisor)
Hydraulic design of a hydrodynamic machine is designed to achieve a high value of energy transformation efficiency. Pumps and turbines have some different typical features in hydraulic design. With the aid of computational fluid dynamics, adjustments of the hydraulic parts of a standard centrifugal pump are assessed with the aim to increase hydraulic efficiency of the pump running as turbine. The impeller, volute casing and added draft tube are discussed.
