The small hydroelectric power station design
Kokeš, Petr ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
The thesis deals with comprehensive design of the small hydroelectric power station in the particular site. There is the site description in the first part followed by evaluation of the hydroenergetic capacity of the watercourse and description of the inlet building and piping. Building and machinery part of the turbine hall is described in the next part. The electric part of the power station is worked up to wider scope and includes hydroalternator, switchgears incl. power for self-consumption, electric protections, cabling, transformer substation and high voltage inlet line. There is a description of the control system in the next part and economical evaluation of the investment is at the end.
Air-Conditioning in the hospital pavilion
Kops, Tomáš ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and evaluate the air-conditioning system for the medical facility. The first and second above-ground floors are designed and designed to meet hygienic and operational conditions for medical facilities. The air-handling system provides fresh air into the interior, eliminating heat losses in the winter and heat gains in the summer.
Principles and design of project elaboration of boiler islands aimed at piping
Suchomel, Radoslav ; Létal, Tomáš (referee) ; Nekvasil, Richard (advisor)
The Thesis solves the issue of a design and construction of piping specifically focused on boiler apparatus and its equipment. This issue is important for creation of the piping classes in the (PDMS) programmes and for acceleration of output parameters which are mainly the temperature, materials, variable parameters, etc. This leads to other problems such as service life, security, economy, etc., are.
Apartment House - Modernization of Plumbing Systems
Prokop, Jan ; Vrána, Jakub (referee) ; Bárta, Ladislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with water supply and drainage of wastewater and rainwater in an apartment house in Brno. The theoretical part deals with the central hot water preparation. In the calculation part, is design and calculation of the distribution of water supply and sewerage.
Elements reducing pressure in pipeline systems
Kohút, Jiří ; Kůrečka, Jan (referee) ; Himr, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of control elements in piping systems. The fluid at different flow rates exhibits different behavior and due to the fluid contact with the pipeline, pressure losses occur. Elements in piping systems meet various requirements such as pressure control, flow rate control, barrier and flow direction control. The thesis deals with the categories description and functional priciples of individual elements. The practical part consists of the laboratory measurement describing characteristic of one of the pressure control elements, namely the pressure reducing valve. The measured characteristic is compared to characterstic from a company called Malgorani.
Types and principles of water reservoirs
Cakl, Vojtěch ; Fialová, Simona (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with decription of the water reservoirs, in particular for the purposes of the irrigation. In the first part of the thesis is overview of the functions and distribution by purpose and location to the consumption. Following is the proposal of the storage tank volume by purpose. In next part there is a description of the construction, shape and equipment of the water reservoir. Subsenquently there is expalained the principle on simple arithmetical example. The last part of the bachelor thesis focussing of multifunctional water reservoirs and their functions in relation to the landscape. It contains some examples and proper scheme of multifunctional water reservoir.
Heating of cultural house with restaurant
Ratajský, Radek ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is the design of heating, mechanical ventilation and hot water production in a culture center with a restaurant – Sokolovna. The thesis is divided into three parts – theoretical, calculations and the project. The theoretical part is focused on solid fuel boilers and the related legislation. The heat transmission calculations, the design of heat source, heating elements, hot water production and distribution can be found in the calculations. The project contains drawings and the technical report.
Production and assembly of a tubing for coal mill
Fešar, Tomáš ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on description of contract and all technicalities included in works supervision. First parts presents specification of design drawings which is necessary for price offer, next part describes design representing machining by means of repairs of wrongly drilled holes in steel structure of coal mill. Final part is dedicated to continuing to construction works and repairs of minor failing.
Design of heating system of office building
Klečka, Jaroslav ; Topič, Jan (referee) ; Horká, Lucie (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design and solution of the heating system in the Administrative Building in Brno. The work will be divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical, namely by comparing hydrogen fuel and natural gas. The second part will include the calculation and design part, in this part the work deals with the design of boiler room components, calculation of heat losses, etc. The third part means the design documentation of the construction, which will be processed at the level of the DPS (documentation of the execution of the construction).
Channels eroded by groundwater flow in Strelec quarry: erosion processes and factors influencing channel evolution
Soukup, Jan ; Bruthans, Jiří (advisor) ; Grmela, Arnošt (referee)
Large depression cone in water table was formed due to mining in surroundings of Střeleč quarry. The concentrated inflow from conduits to quarry is up to 70 l/s. Large conduit systems are created by flowing water into the quarry. The biggest conduit system was at least 300 m long and 17 m high with maximum calculated volume of 22 thousands m3 . Evolution of these conduits usually takes several months to few years. Fast conduit evolution allows to study erosion processes in detail in situ. In the thesis I am describing conduits, character of flow and erosion processes. Measured flow velocities in conduits are up to 0,4 m/s with hydraulic gradient 1 to 5%. Flow velocities and hydraulic gradients are typical for piping erosion. Piping initially forms small protoconduits. The bigger conduits are formed as water is progressively drained from larger area. Conduits are following fracture surfaces, which are also limiting the conduit propagation to the sides. Above water table the conduits are enlarged mainly by mass wasting of undercut sandstone slabs. For distinguishing less and more erodible parts of sandstone, we adapted and partially developed a method for measuring erodability (REI) and drilling resistance (DR). Both are used to compare different types of sandstone surfaces. In lowermost part of the...
