The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a mountain hotel in the Malenovice village. The object is placed on a sloping plot located in an attractive area of Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. The mountain hotel has 4 floors and a basement. In the First floor There is a restaurant with a terrace, space for staff and also the accommodation part. In the second and third floor we can find guest rooms and rooms for the hotel staff. In the basement there is wellness, a gym and a conference room. Here se can also find space for staff service. The constructional systém is made of ceramic bricks filled with mineral isolation.

Vývoj přirozené obnovy v koncepci přírodě blízkých způsobů hospodaření - na příkladu Nadregionálního biocentra Kněhyně-Čertův mlýn
Ottová, Gabriela
This Bachelor paper focuses on the transformation of a cultural forest into a natural forest, which is situated in the protected zone, National Nature Reserve Kněhyně_ Čertův mlýn. In the growths, which are located in the protected zone, there are non-native spruce monocultures that are highly unstable. In 2005 and 2006, 12 research areas in 7 parcels were chosen, where spruce, beech and fir trees can be found. The first measurement and evaluation of natural recovery both on transects, as well as on the entire plot were effected. Natural regeneration includes monitored species, the number of individuals and their statuses. In 2014, the measurement was repeated and the results were compared. We can evaluate the structure of rejuvenation from the subjects' frequency, and, according to these results, we can determine if the rejuvenation is acceptable or unfit for sustainability. In this bachelor paper, recommendations of sequented transformational measures are being presented for a bachelor paper data. The Bachelor paper's results are not only applicable in the protected zone mentioned above, but also in other locations of similar character.
Vliv stanovištních podmínek na faunu střevlíkovitých ve smrkových a bukových porostech Beskyd
Rolinc, Petr
In beech and spruce stands in the LS Ostravice in Moravia Silesian Beskydy was realized monitoring of epigeic invertebrates by pitfall traps method. Carabid beetles (Carabidae) were classified as bioindicator group in terms of representation in spruce and beech stands with regard to main typopologic kategories like as forest altitudinal vegetation groups (LVS), edaphic categories (EK) and files of forest types (SLT). Ground beetles communities were evaluated in economic forests and nature reserves. Collecting of ground beetles was realized in period 2007 -- 2014 in the spring, summer, late summer and autumn aspect. In the entire period were captured 67 483 individuals of ground beetles belonged to 77 species. In interest area was confirmed the occurrence of legally protected species and species Natura 2000 (Carabus variolosus Sturm). Another protected and heavilly endagered species was Carabus obsoletus Sturm. Carabus linnei, Pterostichus burmeisteri and Pterostichus foveolatus were eudominant species. The dominant species were represented Abax ovalis, Carabus glabratus and Pterostichus oblongopunctatus. There was proved a relation between carabid beetles and main typologic categories (LVS, EK and SLT). Several species were discovered diference between spruce and beech stands and so between nature reserves and economic forests.
Půdní fauna bukových a smrkových porostů v modelovém území Moravskoslezských Beskyd
Bayer, Jakub
Spruce and beech underbrush soil fauna in model territory of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids was monitored in the years of 2007 till 2012. Material withdrawal took place annually on 37 research areas in the period of spring and autumn aspect from the section situating in the massif Spruce, Knehyne and the Celadenky little river valley area in Podolanky. Several types of soil animals were investigated within this monitoring: collembolans, acarids, diplurans, myriapods and millipedes, thousandlegs, hemimetabolas, prongbucks, bugs, weevils, snout beetles, larvae, dung worms, larvae two winged, earth worms, further imaga and larval stages of rove beetle and snapping and spring beetle family. Their number was reduced for final elaboration and processing. The type determination has been realized at the earthworm family. Other above mentioned animal types have been evaluated abreast of higher systematic units. The Tullgren method has been used for soil animals' extraction from withdrawn soil samples. On the basis of substitution of particular observed and investigated soil animal types evaluation their abundance eventually their dominance has been reckoned and calculated. Subsequently these outputs and results have been compared within individual categories and potential relationships to soil surroundings, forest vegetation rates respectively forest types groups have been derived.
Nosatcovití lesních ekosystémů Beskyd
Hrabovský, Karel
Author: Karel Hrabovský Title: Weevils forest ecosystems of the Beskydy The aim of this thesis was to determine the significance of the family Curculionidae as a bioindicator and evaluate the possibility of its use in the classification system of forest typology. in the years 2007-2010 in the area of Moravskoslezské-Beskydy (massif of Smrk, Kněhyně and the valley of the Čeladenky creek in Podolánky) the fauna of the family Curculionidae in 38 stands of Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) and beech (Fagus sylvatica L .) was observed using pitfall traps. A correlation between the occurence of certain species of the family Curculionidae and the altitudinal vegetation zones (LVS) and edaphic category (EK). The sets of forest types (SLT) seem to be units too specific, we did not yet succed to prove a correlation with the family Curculionidae in these.

Projekt CzechCarbo představuje integrační projekt řešící problematiku studia cyklu uhlíku v terestrických ekosystémech ČR s využitím metodických přístupů umožňujících pochopit, predikovat a oceňovat bilanci uhlíku v ČR . Projekt je rozdělen do 8 pracovních segmentů. 1. Scénáře vývoje klimatu na území ČR s ohledem na globální změnu klimatu. 2. Studium mechanismů fyziologických procesů kontrolujících příjem a metabolismus uhlíku (účinkové procesové studie). 3. Rozvoj observační sítě "fluxes towers" umožňujících sledovat toky CO2 v základních typech ekosystémů ČR (lesy, louky, mokřady, agro-ekosystémy). 4. Zdokonalení regionálního území (území ČR) systému pro stanovení uhlíkové bilance terestrických (především lesních) ekosystémů, který lze použít při verifikaci a naplňování závěrů Kjótského protokolu. 5. Vypracování metodologie, která by byla schopna předpovídat budoucí vývoj a chování terestrických uhlíkových "sinků" v měřítku ČR. 6. Management lesních, lučních, mokřadních, vodních ekosystémů a agroekosystémů, snižující důsledky GHG (skleníkových plynů) a zvyšující příjem a ukládání C v krajině. 7. Změny koloběhu uhlíku v kontextu změny využití krajiny ČR (resp. globálních společenských a přírodních změn). 8. Sociální a ekonomické důsledky globální změny klimatu s ohledem na "land-use changes" a strategické chování společnosti.Ve zprávě jsou popsány výsledky, kterých bylo dosaženo v roce 2004 v jednotlivých segmentech.
