The first part of this bachelor study is engaged in description of platform Java Micro Edition with the goal to punctuate its main features. The second part presents the possibilities of implementation of networking communication in surroundings of mobile phones and networking posibilities of platform Java 2 Standart Edition with target the multiplex and non-blocking server. The third part is focused on project and implementation of exemplary application with tests of resulting solutions together.
Complex Multi Player Game for Mobile Devices
Kojecký, Vladimír ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with development of mobile application on platform J2ME. It is a multi-player game for mobile device communicating via Bluetooth technology. The application, called BTbomb, is inspired by a game known as Dynablaster or Bomberman. In this thesis, there is a detailed description of the whole application's proposal and way of solving the proposal's implementation. Then, there are definitions of some problems that can occur while mobile applications' development and ways to prevent these problems and to solve it. The objective of this thesis is to provide a detailed view of the creation of this and resembling mobile applications.
Control PC Application Using Mobile Phone over Bluetooth
Eliáš, Filip ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
The result of my work is application, from which you can control computer's programs. Application has server part, which runs at PC and client part generally dedicated to mobile phone. Application needs two scripts. The first is written in JavaScript and defines, how to control specific program. The second defines user interface.
JavaME Application for Betting on sport results
Kubalík, František ; Müller, Jakub (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of applications for mobile terminals, which allows user to bet on sports games. The functionality of this application is dependent on a central database, whose proposal is also part of this work. The first section describes the basic features of programming languages, which were used for the implementation of the project. Gradually, it is described in Java, SQL and PHP. The correct formation of tables and a description of problems that may arise in the design of the database are mentioned. Next chapter describes the actual implementation of the project. It described the methods and a more detailed description of the implementation of the various parts the project comprises. This section also contains a test created by the application.
Utilization of wireless transfers in J2ME applications
Mikulecký, Miloš ; Kovář, Petr (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis consider to problemation of programing J2ME aplication with specialized on wireless transfers. As the wireless technology was selected technology Bluetooth, what is implemented on the majority mobile phones at now. Aplication was projected and realized enabling transfers short messages between mobile phones over interface Bluetooth. The aplication was developed in programation enviroment NetBeans. The aplication was tested on some mobile phones different marks and types. It turned out, that some mobile phones is differnet, though mobile phones are of the same mark.
Universal mobile communication platform using the bluetooth technology
Sopko, Richard ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Daněček, Vít (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on field of communication technologies in mobile devices in personal WPAN type wireless networks. Work consists of three basic parts. First part provides overview of personal WPAN wireless networks and is specialized on Bluetooth technologies and its opportunities of communication between mobile devices. Second part deals with an opportunity of using programming language Java 2 Micro Edition in work with Bluetooth technology. Key point of this work is third part which includes scheme of conception of a communication platform and creating of application designed for mobile phones. Created application enables communication by means of changing files and written conversation of two or more people in real time by Bluetooth connection.
GPS based Localization using the Java ME application
Figurny, Radek ; Morávek, Patrik (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
The task of the Master's thesis has been to develop the MIDlet, which is able to receive data from an external GPS module via Bluetooth. Data are received in the NMEA 0183 format and are processed to extract longitude, latitude, elevation, velocity, number of visible satellites and measurement accuracy of longitude, latitude and elevation. Users have a possibility to save their actual location with a short description to the cell phone’s memory. The MIDlet is also able to save a user defined way-point and navigate to this way-point. The MIDlet itself was developed in the Netbeans IDE with a software development kit (SDK) made by Nokia company. This kit is designed for the Symbian OS s60 3rd edition FP1, which contains a s60 emulator and a s60 MIDlet for a direct compilation in the cell phone. The MIDlet is made of three main parts. The first part shows a longitude, latitude, elevation, velocity, longitude and latitude measurement accuracy, date and time. The second one shows a direction of north, latitude and longitude. The last one shows a direction to the selected way-point and a distance to this location. In theoretic part of the thesis there are described the GPS navigation system, Bluetooth system, geodetic system WGS 84 and programing language Java and its part Java ME.
SMS Application for JavaME Platform
Růčka, Lukáš ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Kovář, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to study the potential of Java ME platform for receiving and sending of SMS and to utilize obtained information subsequently in implementation of an application for this platform. The first part of the diploma thesis aims at explaining general terms of the Java language and its basic features. The next part deals with specific properties of the Java ME platform and properties of devices that support this platform. A design of the Java ME application based on theoretical knowledge is created then. This application has to be able to receive, process, store and send SMS and communicate with the server application based on the Java SE platform. The created Java ME application serves as an automated SMS voting server, which can be used in mobile devices that support the Java ME platform and can be remote-controlled via Internet from the Java SE platform application. The final chapter presents the results and conclusions of testing of the created application on real mobile devices.
Architecture of applications for mobile devices
Havel, Vojtěch ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
This thesis discusses the architecture and the development of applications for mobile device, namely of applications in Java ME platform. The goal of this paper is to draw near the problematic of development for mobile device, analyse pros and cons of several solutions and design the architecture for a few type applications in chosen solution. The theoretical part of this thesis includes the introduction to the mobile development, discussion of benefits and drawbacks of development in Java ME in comparison with other possible solutions, description of main Java ME elements and choosing of type applications for practical part. In the hands-on part of this thesis are chosen the development tools and using previously described elements, the architectures for type applications are made. For each of type application is designed and developed real-life usable application.
