New synagogue in Trutnov

The architectural study deals with the design of a new synagogue in Trutnov, on the site of the former burnt down synagogue from 1885. The synagogue from 1938 was set on fire by the Nazis during the so-called Crystal night from 9 to 10 November in 1938. Besides the synagogue, the proposal deals with the entire Jewish complex, namely a kosher restaurant with facilities, an administrative part for the Jewish community, a mikveh connected to a sauna. The task was to solve the location of buildings complicated area of ground, which is not easily accessible, and also to play with the idea of preserving the original location of the synagogue. The result is the design of a new community center. Its purpose is to return the existence of the Jewish population back to Trutnov, where the Jewish population has not existed for a long time. The design consists of two objects. One of them is a separate synagogue where prayers, celebrations and other events take place. An important part is also the kosher restaurant, which provides the specifics of catering, as well as a mikveh used for a cleansing ritual with a sauna relaxation area. The next function is the seat of the Jewish community.

The aim of this work was the drafting of management Moravian suburb of forest park in the cadastral Třebeš in Hradec Kralove. Draft of management comes from the description of the current state of solved locations. Management of the park was developed in the level of strategic, tactical and operational planning, whereas the operational planning is outgoing of tactical. The work includes a literature review on the topic of green areas in cities, dividing the site into segments and their description as well as cost calculation framework for the implementation of urgent interventions. It also contains text, tabular and graphical part and map supplement in the CAD.

Drobné prvky na území ŠLP Křtiny a jejich potenciál pro rozvoj území

The aim of this thesis is to map small landscape elements in selected area of Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny (TFE). Evaluated is their condition and based on this evaluation is suggested restoration process. The results of this thesis are going to serve as a base for further development in the region. The monuments and springs are the point of interest as they create a very unique area together with the high-value forests and TFE is responsible for renovation of these elements. Field research is applied for the mapping and evaluation. Mapping included high resolution digital pictures and monuments characteristics. All of which was evaluated. Based on results of this complex evaluation of the area and the monuments, proposal for improvement of infrastructure and orientation as well as for sustainable development are suggested.

ZOO BUILDINGS – HERALDIC ZOO

The main idea of project is to design heraldic zoo in the area of old castle park Horní Hrad, which is located few kilometers next to the Karlovy Vary. Heraldry is science of knowledge of family symbols. Concretely it will be zoo, which will be focused on animals, which can be found on the old czech signs. The idea comes from surrounding relations of dramatic terrain and it's affected by context of the historic monument. Castle is the huge dominant of the all views to the surrounding countryside.

Rekreační aktivity pylových alergiků ve zvoleném území

The content of the bachelor thesis is to determine through a questionnaire which outdoors recreational activities are pursued by people suffering with pollen allergies, and whether (or how) the allergy sufferers are limited in these activities. For this purpose, Třinec, a town lying at the foot of the Beskydy Mountains in an area with high air pollution, was selected. This thesis also deals with the evaluation of real potentials and real effects of the current state of the socio-recreational and health-hygienic function of forests in places most frequently visited by Třinec residents, i.e. Forest park Třinec and Javorový. The methodology by Vyskot, et al. (2003) is used for the evaluation.

Přírodní zahrada. Využití principů přírodní zahrady v revitalizaci veřejného prostoru modelového objektu Lesopark Akátky v Brně - Židenicích

The master thesis theoretically and practically deals with the theme of natural garden. In literature review, a historical outline of development of this trend is elaborated. This knowledge is applied on a model object, which is a park forest called Akátky in Brno Židenice. The main target is to create an atractive and vibrant urban space for community life and relaxation of inhabitants of local neighborhoods in natural environment. The project documentation is developed in study degree for the whole area. Some entities in the park forest are planned as particular "natural gardens" within the entire place with an accent for detailed work with vegetation elements. Planting is made according to theoretical basis of natural gardening with understanding of ecological consenquences and plant sociability.
