Design of small-size data networks with advanced services
Vaněk, Jiří ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to get acquainted with the field of designing professional data networks and with typical network service required at these networks. A basic description of network hierarchy and of network elements is part of this thesis. At the same time, individual network services and their usage are defined. At the latter part of the thesis there is a suggestion of design creation steps and of service implementation. Further on, the thesis describes a real design of a laboratory task and it’s practical implementation. Detailed guidelines how to complete a laboratory task are part of this thesis.
Use of a programmable logic controller in teaching process
Malý, Jan ; Ctibor, Jiří (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is divided into four parts. First part concentrates on programming languages used for programming a PLC. These are divided into graphical and text languages. Graphical languages consist of ladder diagram and function block diagram. Text languages are Structured text and instruction list. Each of these languages are described in subchapters. Second part deals with description of three laboratory tasks. The last part contains pictures a information about laboratory task’s made equipment.
Web interface for on-line administration of laboratory tasks
Belko, Jakub ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The present work describes the current trends and e-learning methods using the Internet in the educational process on Czech and foreign universities. The main objective is to create a web interface for on-line administrations of laboratory tasks named "Laboratorě UETE". Practical work is focused on programming web applications and modules for management of instrumentation for laboratory protocols administration including implementation of the IP video cameras outputs and sensor atmospheric conditions. An integral part of this work is to create a module for simulation of physical quantities using commercially available software components based on client – server system.
Ethernet for metallic cables
Víteček, Aleš ; Člupek, Vlastimil (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis "Ethernet for Metallic Cables" deals with the analysis of Ethernet technology, the most used technology for running computer networks. Specifically, it is focused on transmission via metallic line. The aim of this thesis is description of technology, research of the latest Ethernet standards, including the latest categories of metallic lines. Laboratory tasks and its implementation are described below. This thesis also contains a detailed lab instructions and reference values.
Laboratory scenarios for comparison of protocols allowing transmission of web pages
Moučka, Martin ; Grenar, David (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on theoretical and practical comparison of webpage transport protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) v1.1, SPDY, HTTP/2 and QUIC using UDP (User Datagram Protocol), TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol) as transport protocols. This work also contains design and manual for practical laboratory tasks on which can students verify theoretical assumptions. These tasks compares protocols in different conditions such as packet loss, latency and jitter.
QoS simulation model in NS2
Balej, Jiří ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis is described fundamental principle of IPTV and all the necessary conditions for high-quality video and audio signal. In reference is the recommendation of DSL Forum TR-126, where are summarized QoS parameters for IPTV. There is the explanation of Triple play service as a combined distribution of television, telephone and high-speed Internet. In one chapter are presented methods for asssure Quality of Service (QoS). There are described the method of Integrated services and especially Differentiated services. It explains a function of edge and core routers in Differentiated services. Methods for random early detection (RED) a scheduling are described too. The aim of this thesis was to create two laboratory tasks in the Network Simulator 2. The first lab simulates VoIP traffic in data network and assure QoS for VoIP. In the second lab is a simulated the network with Triple play service and the goal is to assure the recommended parameters for IPTV. To resolve the aim of this work, was needed to study the function of Network Simulator 2 and focus on settings for Differentiated services.
Testing of the differential protection relays by the tester CMC256+
Machovič, Jakub ; Orságová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor`s thesis is focused on the concepting of tests and measurements for the differential protection relays by the tester CMC 256+. At the beginning of the document are elaborated theoretical knowledges of electrical wiring failures and their consequences, which differential protection relays help to prevent. Furthermore, the description of the function of differential protection relays and their splitting by way of comparison and protecting criteria. Theoretical analysis of differential protection relays testing includes a brief description of measurements carried out by conventional laboratory techniques and a detailed description of the measuring by tester CMC 256 + along with an explanation of its functions. The thesis include a description of functions and parameters measured by differential protection relay S-30 of the ZPA Trutnov company. This work is accompanied by a laboratory task concept focusing on comparative tests of S-30 along with a description of the measuring procedure by using CMC 256+. The concept of tasks is based on the options that are available by using the basic operating software Protection package and the acomplished measurements.
Light diffraction and interference in laboratory exercises
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Šicner, Jiří (referee) ; Škarvada, Pavel (advisor)
The main purpose of this semestral project is suggestion and construction the laboratory task for measuring interference and diffraction of light, which would be teached in laboratory of physics. According to gained informations about optical phenomenon, the physical construction of the laboratory task was made. Subsequently the CMOS camera was connected and installed. There was also developed a software for controlling this camera. Software is able to control all supported functions of camera, capture and save samples from live recording and show the intensity decomposition of captured images. The most important function of developed software is ability to measure distances between particular diffraction local extremes.
D-Class Audio Amplifiers and Their Computer Simulation
Bednár, Branislav ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
This term paper deals with the class D audio amplifiers. The paper discusses the evaluation of the components of the amplifiers and descriptions , as well as the analysis of signal properties occurring in important parts of amplifier circuits. The Thesis continues with a printed circuit board design, amplifier implementation and measuring its parameters
Simulation of the CT X-ray Detectors
Koutek, Petr ; Walek, Petr (referee) ; Drastich, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the basic properties of the detectors used in X-ray CT, and their influence on the choice of acquisition parameters. The theoretical part summarizes the general issues of projection reconstruction view and basic characteristics of the detectors.
