Design of lighting system in car service

The theoretical part is focused on lights, notions and calculations in the area of light technology, basic lightning sources and lamps. This work is also about the principle of lightning measuring. The main aim of the work is design of a new artificial lightning system in a workshop which is located in village called Petrov. At first, the control measuring of existing lightning was done which is mentioned in this work.

Production technology of plastic lamp shade

This master thesis deals with design of injection molding technology for plastic lamp shade made of polycarbonate labelled Lexan 925. The injection is performed into injection mold with hot runner system. Initially there is a general study related to plastic materials and injection molding technology. Further the study continues with technological solution of production of the lamp shade. The designed injection mold is two-plate, double cavity mold with two hot nozzles and is equipped with a thread-unscrewing machine. This thesis contains part of the documentation and item list of the injection mold, along with technical-economical evaluation of the developed solution.

The Lighting Equipment Used in Modern Vehicles and the Measurement of the Range of Visibility of the Rear Lights

This work is about lighting equipment of modern vehicles, its historical development, present condition and possibilities of its further progress and measuring of the range of visibility of the rear lights. First part is aimed at lighting equipment used in modern vehicles as a whole. It describes sources of light, their principle, construction, advantages and disadvantages. Next it deals with searchlights and other lighting devices, their gradual development, construction and modern solutions which are used in them, and also their future development. Second part of the work is aimed at characterization of ways of measuring the range of visibility used in practice, their possible application to measuring of the range of visibility of the rear lights and on proposal of presentive methodics for this measurement. Realization and interpretation of practical measurement by this methodics is included.

Draft of production of creative designe lamp by unconventional methods

This thesis aims to present a design and production of a decorative body of a lamp made by using unconventional technologies. The work is divided into several parts. The first part presents the individual methods of producing the decorative body design in details; these methods are then compared. The following part deals with a 3D model design and its gradual modifications which had to be implemented due to feasibility of the lamp assembly. The final part of the work is dedicated to an experimental production of the decorative body. As a result, the produced parts are assessed in terms of cutting roughness, production time, and pricing. The output of this work is two lamps; a table lamp and a pendant lamp, both of which include a decorative body which is cut using unconventional methods, namely by a laser or a water jet.

Solar radiation simulator

This master's thesis is focused on properties of direct solar radiation, diffuse radiation and their usage in solar systems. Goal of this paper is to compare the different sources of light with the radiation and selection source for the solar radiation simulator, followed by a measuring device for homogeneous distribution of solar radiation and implemantation of solar simulator.

Production of ceiling light

The manufactured component is the inner part of the ceiling lamp. It is made of 17 240 steel in a series of 100 000 pieces/year. A combination of tool cutting and deep drawing without thinning the wall was chosen from the possible production technologies. The diameter of the blank from which the resulting shape is pulled out was calculated to be 400 mm. It will be cut from an unwound coil of sheet metal, the inner diameter of which is 400 mm and the outer 1000 mm. A drawing tool was designed for forming and it's functional parts were made of 19 436 steel. The tool is placed in hydraulic three-acting press PO 160/100 from company Dieffenbacher. The press is part of a line which includes an unwinding device, a straightening device and a cutting tool.

Molecular detection of cercarial dermatitis causative agents

Human cercarial dermatitis (CD), also called Swimmer's itch appears as a skin rash caused by skin penetration by larval stages of avian schistosomes. In the Czech Republic, the most common causative agens is genus Trichobilharzia. Since 2021, monitoring of CD is a part of a mandatory testing of bathing water quality. The official method used for CD detection is collecting and examination of aquatic snails under a light source. However, this method has many disadvantages, such as time demands, low sensitivity and difficult parasite determination. These disadvantages can be overcome by usage of alternative approaches, such as molecular methods based on environmental DNA (eDNA) filtration and isothermal amplification. Hence, the main goal of this thesis was development of molecular method based on eDNA filtration and cLAMP isothermal amplification for detection of CD causative agent in water. Based on molecular analysis a conserved region of target DNA was selected to create a cLAMP assay specific for genus Trichobilharzia. The cLAMP assay was confirmed to specifically amplify the DNA of at least four species of the genus Trichobilharzia.
