In this master’s thesis I focused on assessment of the information system Metrik for Continental Matador Rubber, s.r.o., specifically for the department of Global Evaluation Púchov in Slovakia. The solutions design is based on results of system and company analysis. Output of this thesis is a design of measures and changes aimed on improving efficiency of the analyzed system, improving information and cyber security and increasing overall satisfaction of employees.

The diploma thesis is focused on the design implementation of information security management system in a small business and is applying theoretical knowledge to real-life situations in a manufacturing company. Implementation of a tool for cyber security management

The thesis is focused on the implementation of a software tool to increase the effectiveness of cyber security management. The tool is implemented in a company preparing to be classified as a part of critical information infrastructure. Based on the customer's requirements, a suitable cyber security management tool is selected. Subsequently, I propose a methodology for implementing the tool, which I immediately apply. The output of the work is an implemented tool, risk analysis and security documentation required by law.

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the existing information system in the company SHOPEA.CZ, s. r. o. and suggests changes for improvement of its current situation. The work is divided into three parts. The first chapter presents the basic theoretical concepts that are important for understanding other parts of the work. The second part is devoted to the analysis of society and the information system. In the last part, specific measures are proposed to improve and streamline the current information system.
ICT and security in elementary art schools

This bachelor thesis identifies and defines the security threats for the personal, property, and information safety management by the means of ICT in primary art schools. The manuscript describes processes of security control and risk management, principles of information security guidance according to the ISO/IEC 27000 standard and some of the security system technical designs. The security of electronic data and benefits or drawbacks of information system and data network utilization are also discussed. For better orientation in the topic and to simplify the decission process, an explaination of particular technological principles is provided. The research part of this work is focused on the means of security currently used by primary art schools, the effectivenness of such tools, and the plans for future instalation of new technology. Further, the state of the computer and cable network security in primary art schools is studied with the emphasis on the strength of account password and the password making policy. Finally, the means of wireless network protection, principles of data back-up, and remote desktop work safety are investigated. Diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of current situation of Lingua Centrum s.r.o. and the information system they developed. Using the inner and outer environment analysis, several vulnerabilities have been discovered. Consequently a draft of improvements was developed, that aims at ensuring higher security and effectivity working with information system. New module is also suggested to be implemented providing better utilisation of the system itself. The thesis is devided into three chapters. First part describes the theoretical resources and analytical instruments which have been used for analysis of the company in part two. The final part provides changes, that would lead to eradicating the systems deficiencies.

Best Practices of Information Security for Small Health Facilities

This thesis deals with proposal of the best practices of Information Security focusing on small medical facilities and data protection of the pacients. The introductory part of this thesis focuses on the theoretical background of information security, based on the series of standards ISO/IEC 27000. In the practical part, based on the application of theoretical knowledge, there is formulated a proposal of recommended steps health care facilities should take to compliance with the principles of information security.
