Subharmonic Mixers for Microwave Bands
Kintr, Jindřich ; Frydrych, Jiří (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
The task of this master’s thesis is design and implementation subharmonic mixer for the microwave band. Subharmonic mixer is based on the principle of antiparallel diode. In the first two parts are theoretically described mixers (subharmonic mixer) and topology suitable for implementation. Another work describes the design subharmonic mixer. The proposal is implemented in the program Ansoft designer. DPS is created in Eagle or in Ansoft Designer. The mixers are designed and implemented first on the lower frequency and consequently at higher frequencies (24,048 GHz and 47,088 GHz). Work also includes the measurement results of the mixers.
Wireless control of induction machine.
Frelich, David ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
This master's thesis is interested in concept of frequency converter for induction machine to power 2 kW. Control of this converter is wirelessly or via PC. The solution is based on execution with integrated circuits and microprocesors to control them.
Industrial programmer Atmel AVR microcontrollers
Gryžboň, Jan ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement an industrial programmer AVR microcontrollers from Atmel. The first section provides the theoretical knowledge of the AVR microcontroller. Furthermore, comparison of methods for programming the microcontroller and the selected method is an analysis of the speed of programming. The following is the entire design of industrial programmer which is implemented in the programming environment Eagle. In the penultimate part of the proposal is designed PCB. The final section is devoted to the revival of the programmer and programming.
Multifunction board computer for motorcycles
Netáhlo, Tomáš ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with a design and a realization of multifunction board computer for motorcycles. The goal of the device is measuring speed, rotation speed of engine, temperature of ambient, temperature of engine, temperature in intake including signalization of overvoltage and hightemperature. The device is completed by above standard function such as measuring titl of motorcycle, climbing of route, route recording and data transmission to the computer. The thesis includes a complete solution of hardware and software part of the device.
Communication Board for Operation of Cutting Tables Systems
Bačík, Zdenko ; Straka, Martin (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of implementing a PCI interface controller utilizing the FPGA technology. It describes the design and the implementation of a PCI communication card, which is used to control servomotors in cutting machines. In the thesis, the steps taken in designing and implementation of hardware and software parts of the communication card are discussed. The result of the thesis is a functional piece of equipment, which is to be manufactured.
Remote controled robot unit
Kratochvíl, Robert ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
Labor is handling of the programming movement functions and construction of the simple robot, a design of double-layer printed circuit boards for its implementation and realizes remote control. Motional functions were tested using the test, hand-soldered, double-layer board implemented on soldery bay of joints and demonstrated on prototype. The movements themselves have been simulated using LEDs, the remaining parts were up to the type of casing the same with a planned final design of the board. Using the prototype we demonstrated complete exact movements. For the control microcontroller was chosen for the board of the robot and controller ATMEGA16, communication takes place through USART bus of this microcontrollers. Programming was carried out in CodeVision and AVR Studio, design of printed circuit boards in the EAGLE.
A Laboratory Task: Oscilloscope Measurement
Malý, Ondřej ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a signal generator for a laboratory task of the subject HELE. As a generating chip is used ICL 8038 that can generate three types of waveform – sinus, square wave and triangle. The frequency range is from 20 Hz to 20 kHz in selected circuit. Output is connected to oscilloscope probe, but also to 3.5mm headphone jack through which can be the selected waveform listened to on the connected headphones or speakers and measure the audible threshold.
Design of control board for autonomous mobile robot.
Mašek, Petr ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design and realization of the control board, that enables the control of an autonomous mobile robot. Simultaneously it deals with possible control alternatives of the similar robots concerning the construction. The outcome of this thesis is the control board, that communicates with the computer via the Bluetooth technology. The position of the robot is controlled via two differential drives and few infrared sensors are used to collision avoidance. The board is composed of standard parts available.
Microprocessor control unit design
Voldán, Jiří ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with a design and implementation of a microprocessing control unit which can be used e.g. for controlling a hydraulic loading crane. This multi-purpose control device contains commonly available computer peripheral components such as a serial line, a USB connection or Bluetooth. When specific sensors are added to this device it can be used for measurements as well as for adjustments. This device also enables to store measured data on an SD/MMC card.
Microcontroller based system for acquiring and transfer of static picture
Vladař, Martin ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the transmission of still images from the CCD camera at extremely limited communication data flow. The base system consists of a microprocessor, which communicates with the peripherals mostly via the serial interface. The image is obtained by PC program for Microsoft Windows that can capture color images and grayscale images. A defect of the system is as expected slow serial line.
