Low NOx emission combustion chamber of turbine engines
Šafránek, Martin ; Mašek, Jakub (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis examines Low NOx emission combustion chamber of turbine engines. It describes in particular the events taking place in the combustion chambers and the mechanisms of generating all monitored emissions. It also focuses on the description of the most important design parameters, their estimated development, assessment and use in civil aviation. Further, this thesis deals with the legislation of various organizations that create certification standards for regulating the amount of emissions emitted.
Digitally controlled power supply
Stupka, Dominik ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This document describes design of the laboratory power supply with digital control. Power control consists from a control section which handles communication between the modules and the power section.Into the power section is integrated switching and linear regulator. The designed power supply contains two such modules. To control are used microcontrollers from Atmel. Source parameters are 2 x 30 V / 0 – 3 A. During the construction we have to emphasis on the accuracy of regulation the output values and the modularity of the solution.
Reconfigurable 5G NR signal generator on RFSoC FPGA
Indrák, Dominik ; Gazda, Juraj (referee) ; Maršálek, Roman (advisor)
This work deal with simulation of basic structure of OFDM modulator and demodulator of the upcoming standard 5G NR. In MATLAB are simulated basic parts including modulation, reference signal inserting, Fourier transform, cyclic prefix inserting, AWGN and multi-path propagation. In this work is proposed implementation of the modulator and demodulator into RFSoC board and his configuration. Designed generator is implemented with the use of STEMLab RedPitaya platform. In Matlab software is generated 5G OFDM signal used to transmitt. Received signal is evaluated in Matlab software.
Strip thickness measurement device
Vitoslavský, Ondřej ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This work deals with the design of software capable of operating individual components of measuring equipment and acquaintance with these components. These components are analog-digital converter AD7175-2, digital-analog converter DAC8563 and LCD BC- 1602A-YPLEH. It also deals with communication via the Modbus with superior PLC, which has the ability to read data from the measuring device and control the device to a certain extent.
Design of D/A converter in CMOS technology
Kliment, Filip ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design digital to analog converter, the parameters of DAC are described inside the thesis. The thesis contains basic structures of the DAC and their transfer functions. For the design was chosen structure with a R2 R resistor network. Design and simulation were made in program package CADENCE. The circuit was designed using technology I2T100.
Audio Interface for Embedded PC
Staroň, Martin ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The scope of my master thesis is a designing computer sound interface including measurement of audio performance. This work is concerning both design analog front - ends and digital support circuits. The sigma delta Analog to Digital (ADC) and Digital to Analog (DAC) converters is included in this conception. Those converters has been made into two separate printed circuit boards. All signal paths in this circuitry are utilizing differential mode that are quoted as balanced among audio engineers. Modern circuit components are used in this design, such as fully differential operational amplifiers, electronically controlled gain preamplifiers, low drop linear stabilizers with low noise level, DC component suppression circuits and low jitter active components. Theoretical part of this thesis contains specification of choosed sound defitions, questioning audio program loudness leveling. Further criteria of suitable active and passive components are included. In this thesis the simulations of fundamental circuits block are meant likewise. Practical part involve complete layout of printed circuit boards of and prototyping. Designed prototype device has wide application usage. It is intended to use not only as industrial computers, but also as dedicated sound converters, measurement cards, mixing consoles, switching matrixes, active loudspeakers, embedded systems.
Mandatory access control policies of operating system
Novotný, Filip ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Pelka, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of this paper is data protection by means access control. It compares the difference between DAC and MAC access control and describes the progress of MAC due to user requierements. Next part is dedicated to SELinux, what offers more system safeness. SELinux is based on mandatory access control. Making own policy is dedicated to SELinux editor, which is composed of Simplified Policy and is easy to use for ordinary user.
Integration of SELinux Audit Logs into ABRT Tool
Vrabec, Lukáš ; Kačic, Matej (referee) ; Barabas, Maroš (advisor)
The main aim of the thesis is to introduce the security of Linux operating systems and the access control list mechanism. The thesis focuses on processing security messages produced by the security mechanism into logging services and on displaying those messages. In addition, the thesis includes a concept solution and its implementation, which integrates security messages into a centralized system, keeps them and reports bugs in the Linux community distribution Fedora and in the Linux commercial distribution Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Implementation of the I2S Driver into the Freescale MQX RTOS
Možný, Karel ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and development of a I2S module driver for real-time operating system MQX running on a ColdFire V4 architecture based processor. Further there are presented circuit diagrams and PCBs created for testing of functions and properties of the driver. Signal input is a digital audio in form of S/PDIF interface, output is an analogue signal, that can be listened by the means of a headphone amplifier. The conclusion describes a sample application demonstrating function of the driver on developed hardware.
Audio ADC and DAC for laboratory measurements
Raszka, Dan ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper describes the design of a laboratory equipment to demonstrate the influence of the sampling frequency and quantization errors on converter. Part of this work is to select appropriate ADC and DAC along with control microprocessor. The proposal contains other functional blocks such as analog input and output filters, LCD display and controls. It deals also with the design of software solutions to control and signal processing.
