Kocourek, Adam ; Cimpl, Pavel (referee) ; Kuruc, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with issues that go with the updating process of Jednotná digitální technická mapa Zlínského kraje. The main goal of this thesis was to make a control survey of previously completed surveying jobs, which were suspected of containing systematic errors and are part of thematical large scale map of the surface situation in the project of JDTM ZK in the locality of Slavkov pod Hostýnem – the northern part. On the basis of the control surveying the task was to evaluate the deviations on the identical points of the suspected jobs and to transform those, confirmed to contain a systematic error, to the control surveying. In the next stage of processing, surveying of incomplete parts of the map and remaking of its outdated sections took place. After that, annexes required by tender documentation were made. Corrected and updated map was then imported into the original database of JDTM ZK by the administrator of the data storage system.

This thesis is about hazardous of ETL processes in their data warehouse. In the first part of this thesis I have defined the ETL processes and the aim of this thesis. The second part is about theoretical solutions needed to create a data warehouse, the definition of ETL processes and discovering potential risks. The third part is about discovering potential risks of ETL processes using an analysis and risk assessment. This part also includes a control of the potential risks. The fourth part concentrates on modifying the ETL processes to prevent potential risks. An important part of this chapter is an emergency plan containing necessary processes which must be applied in case of a risk.
