Application of Pressure Accumulator Injection System on Six-cylinder CI Engine
Pacovský, Tomáš ; Štěpánek, Karel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with application of modern injection system Common Rail on six-cylinder CI engine. One of aims of thesis is to get a large overview of pressure accumulator injection system and explore the development in this area. Among main aims of the thesis belong a new construction layout in Pro/Engineer, accomplishing of static and dynamic analyse of most important parts via the finite element method (FME) and necessary control calculations. Finally, the design documentation of new most essential designed parts will be made. During making the thesis necessary source materials obtained from Vývojový ústav traktorů a.s. of Zetor Group company was made use of.
Adhezion wear mechanisms of moving engine parts
Cahová, Kristýna ; Válka, Libor (referee) ; Jan, Vít (advisor)
The thesis describes adhesion wear on a contact area between Common rail and the component and deals with various effects on this kind of wear. The aim of the thesis is to gain information about adhesion wear phenomena and to understands its physical principals. Theoretical part deals with description of Common rail and then it is focused on research of adhesion wear. Experimental part firstly summarizes available data from tests that have been already done and then continues with analysis of microstructure of materials which are in contact during assembling process and the formation of adhesion wear is increased there.
Design of Common Rail Pump Shaft Radial Force Device
Chromý, Martin ; Pešl, Radim (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a preliminary draft of test equipment for testing fuel injectors Common Rail system with the drive shaft radial loading. The work presents a brief overview of the contemporary designs of the pump system, which then leads on equipment design.
Common Rail for Six-cylinder CI Engine
Božik, Michal ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with the installation of high-pressure common rail injection system for six-cylinder tractor diesel engine. In the first part of the thesis is dismantled issue injection systems and related aspects. The next part is the installation of a fuel injection system, which involves placing components common rail system, the implementation of necessary interventions in engine design and the design of new components. The final section effect control calculations and stress analysis of new injection system components.
Common-rail System for 4-cylinder CI-engine
Ošmera, Petr ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis with a view to „common rail system for 4-cylinder CI-engine“ deals with the application of modern injection system „common rail“ to already existing compression-ignition tractor engine. The diploma thesis treats of the most necessary adjustments related with the replacement of injection systems which was solved in the way of the minimum adjustments. This kind of solution deals with an economic aspect of the problem. The reconstruction contains the engineering design of development of high pressure components and the suitability of their placing on engine. The primary adjustment of the application of system „common rail“ for existing tractor engine confirmed the possibility of this reconstruction.

Engine Motormanagement Software
Kopecký, Ivo ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Fuel injection is a means of metering fuel into an internal combustion engine. In modern automotive applications, fuel metering is one of several functions performed by an "engine management system". A fuel injection system is designed and calibrated specifically for the type(s) of fuel it will handle: gasoline (petrol), Autogas LPG (also known as propane), ethanol, methanol, methane (natural gas), hydrogen or diesel. The majority of fuel injection systems are for gasoline or diesel applications. With the advent of electronic fuel injection, the diesel and gasoline hardware has become quite similar. During the last twenty years a preparation of a fuel mixture and the way of ignition in engine segment have changed the most. Instead of a carburettor it is being used the unit, which prepare fuel mixture according to a status of a car on the road e.g. change of pressure, temperature or ratio of a fuel and air.
Design of station for PCV filter inspection
Tecl, Michal ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a station for automatic visual inspection of the PCV valve filter. The PCV valve is part of the Common rail system, which is discussed in detail in the research part. Furthermore, the principle and capabilities of machine vision are described. In the practical part, several design variants are developed, which are further evaluated. Based on this evaluation, the most suitable variant is selected and then elaborated in detail.
Development of diesel engine injection systems
Sikora, Ondřej ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis has been created as a study on the development of fuel injection systems for diesel engines. The first part deals with the fuel system, which describes the preparation of fuel mixture. There are brief descriptions of individual system components and explains their functions. The main part deals with the injection device, which describes the specific technical solutions used in the past and in the present. Each system is discussed from a construction point of view and its functions. The last chapter describes the contemporary development of injection systems associated with complications and limitations.
Development and perspectives of common rail system
Gach, Jakub ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the Common Rail injection system. It describes the origins of the system, its principle and the function of the individual parts of the system. It also deals with the development of individual system generations and their use. It is clear from the thesis that it is one of the best present-day injection systems that meets all the today's requirements for the design and construction of a vehicle.
