Milan Martínek Ph.D. Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of patient with an ankylosing spondylitis and after total hip replacement Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate the topic of hip joint replacement and ankylosing spondylitis in the form of a case study of a patient and at the same time to present this issue in a theoretical form Methods: The case report of the patient was elaborated during the concurrent professional practice at the Institute of Rheumatology in Prague, during the 3rd year of the bachelor's degree in physiotherapy at Charles University, Faculty of Physiotherapy. For the preparation of the case study, a detailed history of the patient was first taken and an initial examination was performed. This was followed by 9 therapeutic units spread over 2 weeks, at the end of which a complete exit examination was performed to the same extent as the entrance examination. Data from the initial and outcome examinations were then compared to assess the effect of therapy. The theoretical knowledge related to the patient's case was described in the theoretical part of the thesis. vi Abstract Author: Ondřej Šupík Supervisor: PhDr. Ivana Vláčilová, Ph.D. Title: Physiotherapy case report of a patient diagnosed with total knee arthroplasty Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to process theoretical knowledge, case studies and to record the effect of the performed therapy in a patient with a diagnosis of total knee arthroplasty. Methods: The work has a theoretical and a special part. In the theoretical part, data collection from professional literature, professional articles and studies was used. In the special part, data collectedas part of continuous professional practice at the Malvazinky Rehabilitation Clinic are used. The special part contains data collected by the input kinesiology analysis, therapeutic units and the output kinesiology analysis. Results: The rehabilitation process, which is processed in a special part of the work, improved the patient's postoperative condition. In the operated knee joint, there was mainlya reductionin pain, an increase in the range of motion,a reductioninswelling and hematoma. Furthermore, there was an improvement in the walking stereotype. Author: Ivana Moravcová Title: Case report of physiotherapy care for a patient with a diagnosis of subtotal rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament Objective: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to develop a case study of physiotherapy care for a patient with a diagnosis of subtotal rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and to process information about the given diagnosis. Methods: The bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical and a special part. The theoretical part contains general information about the knee joint and the given diagnosis, as well as examination and physiotherapy methods and procedures used for the given diagnosis. The special part contains a case study of a patient after a subtotal rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, which consists of an initial kinesiology analysis, an output kinesiology analysis and 8 therapeutic units. I processed the special part during continuous professional practice, which took place at the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital. Results: If we compare the results of the entrance and exit examinations, we will see an improvement in most aspects. Among the most important improvements are a subjective reduction of pain and a feeling of distrust in the knee joint, as well as an increase in muscle strength and an improvement in stability. Gabriela Kočí Title: A case report of physiotherapeutic care for a patient with pubic rami and acetabular fractures Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a theoretical overview of pelvic ring fractures and to record a case report of a patient with this diagnose. Methods: The general part includes information about etiology, diagnostics and treatment of pelvic ring fractures. The special part contains a case report of patient, which was created at the Fakultní Thomayerova nemocnice. Results: Both objectives were achieved. Conclusion: The recherche found imperfections in currently accesible findings regarding the physiotherapeutic treatment. It may be said, that the therapy infuenced the patient positively and prepared her for the next stages of rehabilitation. Characteristics of Old-Age Drivers in Terms of Road Traffic Safety

The aim of this work is to evaluate current procedures and to refine assessment of impact connected to the drivers' age and traffic accidents. The theoretical part describes senior drivers, traffic accident rate of seniors and decreased ability to drive influenced by age. The practical part is case report of traffic accidents caused by senior drivers, measuring reaction time and the evaluation of these measurements. I have developed some proposals for seniors to prevent the risk of the occurrence of traffic accidents.

The theoretical part contains of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology of cervical spine. It states here the definition, cause, clinical features, therapeutic approaches to the issue. A special section is the most important part of the bachelor thesis. A special section is devoted to case report and determination of the a physiotherapy plan. The case report discussed in detail contains anamnesis, the input kinesiology analysis, short- and long-term plan, records of the therapeutics units, the output kinesiology analysis and evaluation of the effect therapy. Physiotherapy of child with diagnosis of pes equinovarus and skeletal dysplasia

This work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, information on congenital developmental defects of the locomotor apparatus is processed, especially the characteristics of the two diseases of the subject - Pes equinovarus congenitus and skeletal dysplasia. An important chapter is the detailed description of Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia. It is a rare disease that is difficult to diagnose and awareness about it is very low. The practical part is processed in the form of a case study of a child with given diagnoses. It is built on the basis of the method and procedure of physiotherapy, which is appropriate for the age of the subject. It consists of common simple exercises, typical for children of her age, which she can easily remember. The thesis contains an entrance and exit examination, a description of individual exercises and a record of the progress of individual therapeutic units. In the conclusion, the results of the work and the confirmation of individual hypotheses are evaluated. Author: Lenka Fialová Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after knee arthroscopy Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide comprehensive information about knee joint their injuries, examinations, treatment and rehabilitation procedure. The aim is also to document the physiotherapy care of the patient after knee atroscopy for anterior cruciate ligament lesion, cartilage defect and plica syndrome. Methods: In the general part of the thesis I summarize the theoretical knowledge concerning the knee joint, including anatomy and biomechanics, mechanism of injury and treatment of some injuries of this joint. Furthermore, I focus on the possibilities of clinical examination and subsequent rehabilitation. In a special part of the thesis I present a case report of a patient after ASK of the knee joint with cartilage and ACL lesion, and plica syndrome. This section contains a description of 8 therapeutic units including initial and output kinesiological analysis. All literature used is listed at the end of this paper.
