Lifetime Simulation of Wireless Sensor Network in Matlab
Chadim, Pavel ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is concerned with developing the energy model for wireless sensor network. The main features of wireless sensor networks include minimum energy consumption and the maximum date reliability. Furthermore work will be done in simulation lifetime of wireless sensor networks with the possibility to change parameters (error rate, transmission interval), which affects the power consumption of the node.
Wireless Sensor Network Simulation Model in J-Sim Tool
Vrzal, Tomáš ; Morávek, Patrik (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of wireless sensor networks and communication protocols. Is explained of what the network is composed, what standards are used and in what sectors are most often used. The main scope of work is to introduce with the localization algorithms using in WSN. Algorithms are clearly divided into groups according to the methods used. In work is describes the structure used simulation tools J-Sim, for creating a wireless sensor network. To create network will be then applied different localization algorithms, which must first be implemented in a simulator using Java code. All generated classes and the algorithms are detailed described in the work. Results from simulations are detailed and graphically displays for individual localization algorithms.
Security in Wireless Sensor Networks
Maňák, Jiří ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the proposal of simulation model for wireless sensor networks in program Castalia with a focus on energy consumption of sensor nodes using the communication units Mica2 and MicaZ. It describes the basic work with simulation program Castalia, including its installation. Furthermore, deals with the security of wireless sensor networks and theirs security proposal.
Wireless sensor networks for environmental monitoring
Mizera, Josef ; Červenka, Vladimír (referee) ; Morávek, Patrik (advisor)
his work is focused on usability of wireless sensor networks for monitoring environment. Wireless sensor networks are used more and more for this purposes. This technology has great advantages in comparison with cable networks, mainly in difficulty of their realization. This work contains a description of wireless sensor networks, norms and specifications used for these networks. Requirements on software processing data from sensors and how the signal is distributed. There are examples of applications where wireless networks are used. The reasons why these networks began to be used and in what way they eased the work in such area or problems that are solved by these networks. In the last part of my work is a design of application for monitoring of forest fires in area of Komonec by using wireless sensor networks where it should be beneficial.
Simulation of protocols for wireless sensor networks in COOJA environment
Kilian, Petr ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Červenka, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with simualtion in wireless sensor network. First, five simulators – Tossim, NS-2, Prowler, OMNeT++ and Cooja are described. In next part acquaints with the program Cooja. On their own experience it is created manual for this program. The most important part is elaboration three communication scheme, that are working with the RPL protocol.
Packet analyser for a Wireless Sensor Networks based on the standard IEEE 802.15.4
Bednařík, Martin ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Mráz, Ľubomír (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is to get familiar with wireless sensor networks technologies and with standard IEEE 802.15.4. and communication principle in wireless sensor networks built on this standard. Main goal of this project is to design a packet analyzer, which is capable to catch data on chosen channel and this data is able to analyze. Part of this project is production of necessary microcontroller software equipment. Another output of this project is do a research of available packet analyzers on market and compare them with analyzer build by this thesis.
Modelling and Realization of Systems for Intelligent Houses
Konečná, Zuzana ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
In my bachelors thesis I am focused on creating intelligent building control system Foxtrot. The main focus is on temperature control and security. The whole system is connected with an external sensor network. Between those two systems, the interface is created using Raspberry Pi and integrated web server.

Alocation of Sensor Node Position by a Mobile System
Hyrák, Jakub ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The goal of this diploma work is to study the problems of wireless sensor networks. Describe elements of sensor network and discuss how the individual sensor nodes communicate with each other. Find the way how it would be possible to determine the possition of the new added sensor node or mobile sensor node in the sensor network. The selected one algorithm of determining the possition of the sensor node will be implemented in diploma thesis. Algorithms for determining the positions of sensor nodes are divided into groups by using the methods. Selected algorithm will be tested in simulation on chosen platform.
Communication scheme of WSN in Omnet simulator
Mikauš, Jiří ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Holešinský, Pavel (advisor)
In the introduction of this semestral thesis there is an theory about wireless sensor networks which are still more used. Wireless sensor networks contains thousands nodes which communicate with each other due to wireless channel and so they create together a structure of the network. The nodes are low-energy and transfer information about measured medium to the base station which processes them and further provides to user. In the work are described protocols for medium access control and routing described. They place emphasis on as high reduction of consumption of energy as possible and thus they help to extend a network lifetime. Further the simulations in simulation program Castalia were performed where the energetic requirement for individual protocols of medium access are compared. As next there were also compared two communication units used in real application.
