Laboratory module of class D amplifier with PWM modulation
Barcík, Peter ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes basic functional blocks of class D audio amplifier. Project also discuss about design of module class D audio amplifier with PWM modulation. As this audio amplifier is going to be a laboratory module, it is necessary to divide design into designs of individual functional blocks. Finally project describes design of output LC filter which is also simulated in PSPICE program. This thesis include complete construction details. Measurement results are shown in standard protocol.
Audio amplifier with PWM for laboratory measurements
Lelek, Martin ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper describes about theoretical design of class D power amplifier. Amplifier is primarily intended for laboratory measurements, i.e. measuring of major parameters of amplifier operates in this class (frequency response, slew rate, aliasing etc.). Amplifier (oncoming laboratory module) uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) and is constructed from separate blocks for possibility of measuring key signals trough all the structure (triangle comparation wave, analog input signal, feedback signal, PWM signal from modulator, drivers and power transistors, output signal after recontruction filters). Laboratory module is determined for laboratory power supply of safe voltage and should be produce power of several tens of watts into usual load impedance.
Design of switching-mode audio power amplifier
Svadbík, Vít ; Sutorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This work describes the design of audio amplifiers operating in switching mode. The first part describes basic principles of the power stage switching concept. There is described differences between classes of amplifiers according to technology. The second larger part includes design and construction of the switching amplifiers. Design is implemented, including the preamplifier and power supply. Power supply works in switching mode. The measured parameters of the proposed facility are given in the last part.
Design of switching stereo audio power amplifier
Christen, Jiří ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This work deals with complete design of switch - mode audio power amplifier. The first part of the work describes basic principles of power amplifier operating in switch mode and differences between classes. Specific parts of the amplifier are analysed according to function and construction. The second part includes particular design and construction of the class D switching amplifier with a minimal output power 2x80W. The power stage is realized by an integrated circuit TAS5630 from Texas Instruments. Basic states of the power stage are signalized by LED diodes. The design includes correction preamplifier for adjusting volume and frequency response. The appliance is supplied from switch - mode power supply. Basic parametres were measured for individual parts.
Digital audio amplifier
Tiller, Jakub ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The subject of bachelor thesis is the class-D power audio amplifiers. Their expansion is mainly caused by high efficiency and good audio parameters. The aim of this project is analysis of class-D amplifiers and measurement of the audio parameters. In consequence, there is the design of class-D apmlifier as laboratory equipment with possibility of digital gain controll. At the end of this thesis, there are designs of automatic measurment in VEE Pro environment. The laboratory exercise also introduced in this thesis.
Mixing board with class-AB output amplifier
Krolák, David ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the type of mixer preamplifier with active tone control for each of four inputs. This preamplifier is used at dance parties, concerts and recording songs if it equipped with a line output for recording device. The thesis also includes design of power amplifier in class AB with output power 2 × 100 W at 8 nominal load, simulations and a summary of the results.
Audio Amplifier with Network Streaming and Sound Equalization
Liska, Matej ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Štůsek, Martin (advisor)
Diploma thesis contains the theory for the design and realization of a prototype audio amplifier device with the possibilities of digital or analog input content. It approach the features of D/A converter, analog filtering, volume control and amplification. Besides others, it describes the regulation of supply power voltages for individual active parts of device and approaches the software audio platform for acquisition and processing of audio data, including equalization. The thesis contains an general schematic design, created placement of individual components on board, including their table of descriptions and evaluation of the achieved results, including measured values and graphs.
A Laboratory Task: Oscilloscope Measurement
Malý, Ondřej ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a signal generator for a laboratory task of the subject HELE. As a generating chip is used ICL 8038 that can generate three types of waveform – sinus, square wave and triangle. The frequency range is from 20 Hz to 20 kHz in selected circuit. Output is connected to oscilloscope probe, but also to 3.5mm headphone jack through which can be the selected waveform listened to on the connected headphones or speakers and measure the audible threshold.
Class D audio power amplifier
Kaláb, Lukáš ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This project aims on completed design and consequential realization of prototype of the class D audio power amplifier. Amplifier works for home listening and should power at 2 x 50 W. The machine contains finall degree, correcting pre-amplifier and power supply. The basis for realization of the design (connection diagram, design of printed connections boards, distribution and list of parts) are made in Eagle software. Mechanic configuration of all parts in the body of the amplifier is also part of the work.
Simulation and implementation of the audio power amplifier
Svadbík, Pavel ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with simulation and analysis of audio power amplifiers of various concepts and classes. The theoretical part presents the basic necessary knowledge of electrical concepts and principles necessary for mastery of issues that this work deals. For each simulated circuit are described the basic operating principles and evaluated the results of the analysis. Based on the results of the analysis is chosen circuit, which is experimentally realized and measurement. In conclusion discusses the parameters obtained by simulations and practical measurements, and are fully assessed characteristics realized amplifier.
