The bachelor thesis focuses on risk management in a construction company. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part introduces the risks in projects, provides information about the basic division and management. The practical part works with the already acquired theoretical knowledge on a specific construction contract, includes the identification of risks, evaluation and finally their treatment to reduce the impact or eliminate it completely.

The diploma thesis titled Risk Management Proposal for a Selected Business Entity deals with the risk management of the company Zemědělské družstvo Radiměř. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part introducing basic terms and methods of risk analysis and risk management on both, general and specialization, levels, and practical part describing the most important risks of the company identified by the selected risk analysis. Based on the gained data and results preventive and corrective measures for elimination of the risks are given.

The practical part pays closer attention to a specific construction contract, in which case the acquired theoretical knowledge is applied. Furthermore, it includes the identification of risks, their evaluation and the motion of the precautions against increasing their impact or elimination.

The purpose of this thesis is to map risks in a constructing company. The theoretic part contains information about risks in projects, the science of risk and about processes connected with risk management. The theoretical knowledge is used in the practical part to create a list of risks for a concrete builing order, to valuate these risks and prepare suggestion how to eliminace or reduce the inpact of these risks.

Design of Lightning Protection of Family House

Bachelor´s thesis decribes the fundamental theory that is necessary for the proper design of the house from the damaging effects of lightning. The aim is to give a brief and comprehensive look into the issues. The first part of this thesis describes the emergence of lightning, adverse effects on protected and unprotected building and risk analysis. The second part presents the different types of protections. The following third part describes a brief overview of the history of standards and regulations and overview of standards currently valid in the Czech Republic. The last part of the thesis deals with the creation of my own proposal for lightning protection for the chosen fictitious family house.

The aim of the thesis is describe how discounts are formulated in construction work. Different types of discounts are discussed from the point of view of the constructor. Mechanisms of providing discounts and calculations of total discounts are studied. Contract and signing over the construction work are analysed, because of their importance to prevent disagreement between customer and constructor.

The first part of thesis is focused on theoretical background, which describes the basic concepts and methods of risk management. The second part of thesis includes indentifying risks in the company that were found by the internal and external analysis and methods for risk analysis. In the conclusion of thesis are recommendations for measures to help minimize risks in company on preventive or corrective level.

Tool for Security Auditing Of Linux/Unix/AIX OS

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is in regards to an issue of automated testing of Linux, Solaris and AIX operating systems according to security configuration audit in consideration of applicable norms and established standards. The bachelor thesis deals with risk analysis, its assessment and risk mitigation and evaluation policy compliance. For this purpose, a tool was designed for operating systems mentioned earlier. It is implemented in the bash script language. The tool allows automated vulnerability management depending on established standards of SCAP: CCE, CVE, XCCDF, OVAL and CIS a NVD specifications. Moreover, it helps to reduce the time requirements during the auditing process while preserving an integrity of the auditing system.
