Embedded system for date collection
Varga, Kamil ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This master's thesis is describing problems of embedded systems and their development. Furthermore, the operating system GNU/Linux and it's cross-compiling is described. Hardware problems are analyzed too. Concrete solution is system which is able to boot from the USB disc and it is based on OpenWrt distribution running on Edimax BR-6104KP router. The whole solution is described the way which can lead to any general embedded system.
Panel meassurement device
Vaško, Pavel ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The master thesis includes a literature search, which is focused on questions around panel measure instruments for measuring analog voltage signals. There is the block diagram and the concept of measuring voltage values designed from collected information and defined requirements to the device. In the next step a design of the circuit diagram is created and published and consequently transferred into PCB. The whole board has been fabricated, assembled and tested. The firmware development starts with the definition of basic functional blocks for using of internal elements of the device, which is followed by the implementation of the Modbus slave station service routine. The top part presents graphical user interface on the device.
Current source for the solid-state laser amplifier
Žilka, Martin ; Duz, Aleksei (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with theoretical design of solid-state laser beam amplifier power supply. The introductory part contains a description of operation principles of some step-down DC/DC converter topologies, including their advantages and disadvantages. The next chapter describes design issues of a DC/DC converter design, including full schematic diagram. The conclusion is focused on practical assembling and testing of the designed device.
Design and construction of double laboratory power supply
Klein, Miroslav ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This semester thesis deals with design of double laboratory DC power supply with adjustable voltage and current limitation. Power supply can work in two states. First state allows regulation of output voltage from 0V to 40V and current limitation from 0A to 3A. In second state the range of output voltage is from 0V to 18V and output current can be set from 0A to 6A. Both supplies are galvanically separated and can work independently, or can be combined. Whole power supply is digitally controlled by microcontroller.
FM receiver and radio data system processing using FPGA
Petr, Ondřej ; Pirochta, Ondřej (referee) ; Maršálek, Roman (advisor)
This term paper is the second part of the dissertation FM RDS signal processing using FPGAs. In the first half of the work is processed the information needed before the actual design and implementation. These can be divided into three themes. The first theme is the received signal VHF / FM + RDS, the second one handles the problem of software radio and last topic concerns FPGAs. The second half deals with the solution implementation and receiver radio VHF / FM and bitrate optional RDS to digital form and its implementation on FPGA. This section also includes the measurement of results.
Controll of the sliding gate model
Bubeník, Martin ; Burian, František (referee) ; Jelínek, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and subsequent implementation of a physical scale model sliding gate control via mobile applications connecting to the Wi-Fi network. The thesis consists of mechanical, electrical and programming section where the individual sections are described in detail control elements model contains and uses for its activities. When the proposal was disregarded primarily on security, resulting in the sensory equipment model goal.
Analog 0-10V to Ethernet convertor
Hlúpik, Martin ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Master`s thesis concern with problematic of connection analog sensors with voltage output 0-10V to a ethernet communication network. Due to a quick evolution and an application ethernet nets to industry and building technologies is possible to use this solution for connection remote diagnostics and setting of existing analog sensors without bus communication interfaces on instrumentation level of field bus networks. The converter is based on Rabbit module, which can be used like webserver for setting, calibration and data recording. For purpose of wide converter use the data output will be purvey on ethernet interface by Modbus TCP and on asynchronous serial interface RS232. First part of thesis is aimed on description of existing solutions and introduction with principles of linearization and calibration of A/D converters. Description of communication standard Modbus TCP widely used in industry applications. Second part of thesis describes design a realization of project. Here is described equipment block diagram with detail description of each block and devices used. In the part of implementation is description of device firmware with program function description and control. Last part is engage with module function verification supported with plantz of measurements and tests. The thesis is ended with evaluation results, knowledge and detections found out in development of project.
Multifunction board computer for motorcycles
Netáhlo, Tomáš ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with a design and a realization of multifunction board computer for motorcycles. The goal of the device is measuring speed, rotation speed of engine, temperature of ambient, temperature of engine, temperature in intake including signalization of overvoltage and hightemperature. The device is completed by above standard function such as measuring titl of motorcycle, climbing of route, route recording and data transmission to the computer. The thesis includes a complete solution of hardware and software part of the device.
Sun Sensor for I2C bus
Hodáňová, Adéla ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis contains design of sun sensor. At first, it deals with different types of sensors, after which it focuses on selection of mode for connecting the sensor. After measuring all parameters, this thesis focus is determining of diode configuration in space. Next part of the thesis is choice of suitable microprocessor and its support circuits. Thesis ends with construction of the sun sensor and testing of sensor’s parameters.
ECG measurement using BIOPAC system
Kotek, Lukáš ; Rozman, Jiří (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor project is to acquainted with BIOPAC system and with the theory of electrocardiography. After investigation of possibilities to retrieve analog and digital data as well as measurement of ECG signal was developed circuit enable to convert analog signals to digital and then export digital signal via USB to the PC. Developed circuit is based on integrated circuits ATmega8 a FT232RL. Visual Studio was used to create application for registration and calculation power spectrum ECG signal in C#.
