Nerušil, Ondřej ; Novák, Jan (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
While gathering the in-field experience to improve my professional grade I was introduced to the Chief of the Maintenance centre of Semperflex Optimit company Ltd. Thanks to that I have become familiar with the company‘s production‘s strategy, subdivisions of the operative maintenance centre as well as with the running of the part of electro-maintenance unit focusing the HV specialists. Simultaneously with my visit in the company I have been thinking over the subject of my bachelor´s thesis. Especially what took my interest was the HV branch of the electro-maintanance centre. What kind of qualifacation is necessary? How to achieve it? And what are the conditions for working with the HV unit? Is there any system of keeping the sufficient knowledge, work habits and skills? These, all together with other questions I have asked myself, convinced me to give my bachelor´s thesis the title „ The standards of the switchroom and transformer station’s worker maintenance.“

Care of patient with serious trauma in pre- hospital emergency care.
HAVLÍKOVÁ, Dominika
At the beginning this work is focused on the classification of injuries, scoring systems that are used in traumatology and ATLS (advanced trauma life support), which is a standardized procedure in the care of patients with trauma. Furthermore, the work deals with acute traumatic states and there are also briefly described the center for traumar and pre-hospital emergency care. The last thing that is mentioned in the theoretical part of the work is the procedure of the Emergency Medical Service at the scene of the accident. The research part contains the oucomes of interviews from ten randomly selected paramedics of the Medical Rescue Service from the South Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region. A qualitative research strategy, a questioning method and a semi-structured interview technique were used. The interviews were held in March and April in 2021. In this part of the bachelor's thesis, three goals were set. The first goal was to find out whether there are prescribed procedures in the care of serious trauma in pre-hospital emergency care and whether the paramedics of the South Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region know them and proceed according to them. The second goal was to map whether the procedures for caring for a patient with severe trauma are different in the regions. The last goal was to find out whether training for paramedics is taking place on the care of patients with severe trauma in pre-hospital emergency care. The results of the research show that all respondents know the prescribed procedures and, if the situation allows, they follow them. It was difficult to find out whether the procedures differed in the regions due to insufficient information. From the answers of the respondents, it can be said that the procedures in the care of severe trauma do not differ or differ only minimally. Research has also shown that everyone is trained in the care of severe trauma. This bachelor thesis could be used to provide information to proof satisfaction with the training. Furthermore, the work points to the fact that the way of transferring information and knowledge between lecturers and rescuers is effective.
Protecting hospitals from terrorism
KLEČKOVÁ, Anna
Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the security of selected medical facilities (hospitals), their experience with terrorist and cyber-terrorist attacks and the analysis of differences in the threat and security of medical facilities in the Czech Republic and selected countries. To fulfil the first goal of the work and to answer research questions, a quantitative research was conducted using a questionnaire survey, and to fulfil the second goal, a qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews with employees of medical facilities who have experience from foreign internships/missions in health care in selected countries was conducted. The data obtained from the research and the survey were evaluated using graphs and graphical representations. Based on the evaluation of the obtained data, it can be stated that in most medical facilities (hospitals) the entrance is not secured, there are no security check door frames and the entrance for employees is not separated or secured. Most hospitals do not provide training, employees are not familiar with counter-terrorism measures, but most respondents would welcome terrorism response training. From the semi-structured interviews, it was found that the level of security is individual for each state, depending on the current situation. In most countries, employees are not trained to respond to terrorism. The threat to the medical facility in other countries was in most cases more severe than in the Czech Republic. Most respondents perceive differences in hospital security and think that some security features used elsewhere are applicable in the Czech Republic. These aspects are further discussed and compared with foreign research. Furthermore, other research possibilities, weaknesses in hospital protection and recommendations for practise are also outlined. The conclusions resulting from the diploma thesis can be used to improve the means of protecting hospitals from terrorism.
Training of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in hospital - preparation of the simulation scenarios
BUROŇOVÁ, Nikola
Presented thesis deals with the topic of training of cardiopulmonary resuscitation at hospital and preparation of the simulation scenarios. It contains theoretical and empirical part. The objective of the thesis was to find out about the process of the training for nurses at hospital. To analyze their readiness for providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation based on training they absolve. And then to map missing elements within cardiopulmonary resuscitation training. Three research questions were focused on these objectives. In which way current training of cardiopulmonary resuscitation at hospital takes place? To what extent are nurses ready to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation to a patient at their workplace? Which shortcoming contain trainings of cardiopulmonary resuscitation at hospital to this point? For gathering the necessary information, qualitative research was chosen. The technique of semi-structured interviews and observation was chosen. The research sample was made up of 11 probands, meaning nurses working at chirurgical and intern standard department and chirurgical and internal intensive care unit at the same hospital. The condition of the same workplace was chosen so all nurses will have absolved the same trainings. The results of the research shown that training does not involve simulation training, but nurses would welcome this option. Training takes place at prepared mannequins, not within a simulation scenario and authentic situation at a department. Also, mostly on the basis of absolved trainings they feel prepared to provide CPR at their department but mostly because they know that they are not alone at the department. Among the most common shortcomings of the training they rank aids to CPR - real mannequins, real situation but also training room. The thesis will be beneficial to development of CPR training for nurses but also for students getting ready for the profession of general nurse. And that mostly because of simulation scenarios creation which are output of the thesis and is based on research in which we tried to find out opinions and needs of nurses connected with training.
Development and education of human resources in a selected sector
LEŠTINOVÁ, Petra
The topic of this diploma thesis is the development and education of human resources in a selected industry. The main goal of this work is to evaluate the system of development and education in the selected sector and to propose possible changes that will lead to the improvement of the current situation. This work is divided into two parts. The first part of the diploma thesis is theoretical. This part contains theoretical knowledge, which was drawn from the professional and scienti-fic literature. The theoretical part contains knowledge about systematic education, areas of education, motivation for education, and important methods of education. The second part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the current state in the selected industry. This section also proposes changes that will improve the current situation. The selected sector concerns the field of banking. Two companies were selected for a more objective assessment of the sector. These companies wanted to remain partially anonymous and were therefore named as company X and company Y. A questionnaire survey was chosen to evaluate the training and development system, and valuable infor-mation was obtained. The questionnaire survey was chosen due to the rapid return and a large number of employees. Both companies have a very well-developed education sys-tem, which they have very similar. Despite all the sophistication of these systems, changes have been proposed for improvement.
