The Manuscripts of the Vyšší Brod Monastery and Wall Murals in Southern Bohemia

The study deals with several manuscripts and wall paintings ordered by the family of Rožmberk. It focuses on the interpretation of an unusual picture of a chalice which could hypothetically be linked to the worship of the blood of Christ, known from a number of Cistercian monasteries, above all in Germany.
