Earth Faults Protections
Ostruška, Jan ; Topolánek, David (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The thesis deals with wattmetric and conductance principle of faulted feeder detection in medium voltage compensated distribution networks. These principles are analysed and tested with particular emphasis on high impedance earth faults. The first part of testing utilizes data about state of the system with earth fault, which was determined by designed static model of earth fault. The testing in the second part utilizes real records of high impedance earth faults. In both parts the wattmetric and conductance protections was presented on protective relays ABB REF 615, ABB REM 543 and Protection&Consulting RYo by means of unit OMICRON CMC 256plus. As a major result of performed tests are records of detection of particular earth faults. Based on these records it could be concluded, that functionality of protections is substantially dependent on magnitude of zero sequence voltage. Furthermore the wattmetric protections are dependent on fault resistance as well.

Environmental populism in Slovakia
Baroková, Bernadeta ; Vejchodská, Eliška (advisor) ; Plaček, Michal (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to identify the characteristics of environmental populism in Slovakia, which has been promoted by right-wing parties, labelled as populist, and which has been promoted in relation to the issues of nature conservation and the climate crisis in speeches in the National Council of the Slovak Republic on a specific bill amending Act No. 543/2002 Coll. on the Protection of Nature and the Countryside, the so-called reform of national parks. The theoretical part identifies the status and challenges of nature conservation in Slovakia, the attitudes of experts and the general public, as well as the proposed reform of national parks. The theoretical framework of the thesis includes the definition of populism and environmental populism and other phenomena associated with populism. The empirical part consists of an analysis using two methods - qualitative critical discourse analysis and quantitative method of holistic grading of 161 speeches of actors who were elected to the Parliament in 2020 on the electoral lists of Kotlebovci - Ľudová strana Naše Slovensko (Kotlebovi - the People's Party Our Slovakia) and We are Family (Sme rodina). One of the most significant findings of the research is that environmental populist discourse is present in the debate on the reform of national...
Lifestyle of a professional ice hockey player (comparison of views of former and current professional hockey players on sports career and personal life)
MATĚJKA, David
The diploma thesis examines the world of professional ice hockey from the perspective of professional ice hockey players themselves and presents what the lifestyle of a professional ice hockey player looks like. The research also aims to describe the private life, hockey beginnings, approach to studies and ideas about life after hockey. The aim of the thesis is to map the self-reflection of their own career and all the positive and negative circumstances that ice hockey players face during their career and to compare their accounts with those of former ice hockey players and to prove two hypotheses. The first one asks whether it is really a collective sport or an individual competition within a collective, the second one is based on the lifestyle of professional ice hockey players themselves and tries to prove that one's own sporting career can be seen as a life on try-out. The research itself is anchored in the relevant literature and supported by the testimonies of the respondents. The thesis highlights all aspects of professional ice hockey through the eyes of ice hockey players, while also highlighting issues hidden from the public. Thanks to the authentic testimonies of the respondents, the thesis features unconventionally frank confessions of direct actors describing the dark sides that the environment of professional sport offers. Based on the interviews conducted, the author's experience and the literature, a typology of professional ice hockey players was created, in which the theoretical and practical grounding of the research conducted is achieved.
Analýza vlivů ovlivňujících délku intervalu od odstavu do zapuštění u prasnic
BOUŠKOVÁ, Renata
The aim of the thesis was to assess and evaluate effects on weaning to service interval (WSI) in sows. On the sow farm, where the observation took place, were on average born 15.5 of all piglets/1 litter, of which 14.6 piglets were live born. The average length of the weaning to service interval in sows was 5.6 days. The most common length of WSI was 4 and 5 days (83.3 % of litters). In CLW sows (5.9 days) was found that the weaning to service interval was 0.4 day longer than in CLWxCL hybrid sows (5.5 days). With the rising parity number, the length of WSI declined. There was proven a difference of 1.2 days (p < 0.05) between the parity 1 (6.0 days) and the parity 5 (4.8 days). In terms of parity number and sow's genotype, the largest difference was recorded in the parity 1. In hybrid sows CLWxCL was WSI (5.7 days) 1.3 days shorter compared to CLW sows (7.0 days). The highest number of all piglets born was found in sows in the parity 3 (16.1 piglets), while the most live-born piglets were recorded in sows in the parity 2 (15.0 piglets). The shortest WSI (5.3 days) was in the winter and the longest WSI (5.9 days) in the autumn. The highest number of all born piglets was born to sows with the WSI length of 0-3 days (17.5 piglets). With increasing WSI, the number of all piglets born decreased. The lowest number of all born piglets (15.1 piglets) was in sows with WSI length of 6 days. In the weaning to service intervals longer than 6 days, the number of all piglets born increased.
The use of relaxation techniques for children suffering anxiety in kindergarten
ŽOČKOVÁ, Andrea
This bachelor work deals with the use of relaxation techniques for children suffering anxiety in kindergarten. The aim of this bachelor is to determine, which relaxation techniques teachers in kindergarten use, how anxious children behave in kindergarten and how they react to relaxation techniques. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on anxiety and fear in children from birth to preschool age and also on relaxation techniques that can be a tool to reduce anxiety. The practical part consists of observing children marked as anxious, as well as action research of relaxation techniques. The author implements relaxation techniques in a chosen kindergarten, and she focuses on the reactions of anxious children to relaxation. The aim of the action research is to implement relaxation techniques so that anxious children feel comfortable and relaxed. The relaxation should help children to reduce anxiety. The work is supplemented by interviews with teachers in kindergartens.
The content of the micronutrients in consumer eggs
DUŠOVÁ, Hana
The aim of the diploma work was to analyticly verify the actual status of the micronutrients (iodine, copper, zinc and manganese) in consumer eggs. The results of the research gives information about the content of the observed micronutrients in egg yolk and the importance of eggs as a source of these micronutrients for the nutrition of people. The eggs came from 13 small flocks and 7 large flocks in both 2007 and 2008. The average content of iodine in fresh matter of yolk of the eggs from the large flocks in 2007 was 1285,2 {$\pm$} 861,6 {$\mu$}g{$\bullet$}kg-1, zinc 63,71 {$\pm$} 31,08 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1, copper 7,42 {$\pm$} 4,88 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1 and manganese 1,02 {$\pm$} 0,84 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1. The average content of iodine in fresh matter of yolk of the eggs from the small flocks in 2007 was 387,1 {$\pm$} 214,3 {$\mu$}g{$\bullet$}kg-1, Cu 10,90 {$\pm$} 5,28 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1, Zn 73,54 {$\pm$} 44,33 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1 a Mn 1,28 {$\pm$} 0,75 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1. In 2008 the average concentration of iodine in fresh matter of yolk of the eggs from the large flocks was 1071,9 {$\pm$} 543,9 {$\mu$}g{$\bullet$}kg-1, Cu 20,63 {$\pm$} 8,85 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1, Zn 29,59 {$\pm$} 8,67 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1 a Mn 1,42 {$\pm$} 0,62 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1. In 2008 the average concentration of iodine in fresh matter of yolk of the eggs from the small flocks was 340,7 {$\pm$} 330,6 {$\mu$}g{$\bullet$}kg-1, Cu 17,95 {$\pm$} 6,19 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1, Zn 33,10 {$\pm$} 7,97 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1 and Mn 1,22 {$\pm$} 0,54 mg{$\bullet$}kg-1. The Eggs from the large flocks cover 6,8 {--} 13,5% of the daily iodine requirement in adults, 13 {--} 17,3% of copper, only 2,5 {--} 3,1% of zinc and 0,4 {--} 1,1% of manganese. The gained results imply that only the content of iodine in the egg yolk is evidently affected by the intake of it in the feeding rations, the intensity of the egg production and the stage of the laying cycle. The stated relations were not definite with the other elements. The concentration of iodine in the egg yolk was assessed spectrophotometrically by the method of Sandell {--} Kolthoff, modified by Bednář et al., (1964). The content of zinc, manganese and copper in the egg yolk were assessed by the method of atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS).
Distance practical teaching and learning
Zdobinská, Helena ; Janštová, Vanda (advisor) ; Jedličková, Tereza (referee)
This diploma thesis describes practical activities and related topics during forced distant education due to COVID-19 pandemic. In the theoretical part of thesis, the distant education is defined. I also described some of its features, which includes absence of physical contact, use of communication platforms, synchrony and asynchrony form of lesson, need for some degree of independence and digital competence. Anonymous questionnaires were made to collect the data from students and their science subjects' teachers (biology, chemistry, and physics). The questions were with free answers, closed answers with choices or scale values. Respondents consisted of 543 students and 24 teachers from Prague and Central Bohemian Region. The answers were categorized and frequencies calculated. The values of numeric answers such as mean, median, minimum and maximum were measured. The relationship between data was analysed by Pearson's chi squared test of independence. This study shows that teachers used practical activities such as experiments, observation or creating something less in distance lessons, compared to their face to face lessons. On the contrary tasks based on text work were used more often. The analysis showed that students preferred tasks containing creating something. Most teachers taught in both...
Mindfulness in the context of work engagement.
Arbet, Petr ; Bahbouh, Radvan (advisor) ; Šípová, Ivana (referee)
The diploma thesis is devoted to the analysis of the connection between mindfulness, work engegament and authentic behavior. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the sources of work motivation. The second chapter deals with the relationships between employees and personal resources that lead to engaged behavior. In the third chapter, I describe the appropriate interventions and impacts that lead to increased engagement and work related well-being. The work thus evaluates a specific theory of personal, work and motivational resources that affect further work engagement and satisfaction. The research part of the work consists of quantitative research, in which we have verified the mediation analysis of the relationships between mindfulness and engagement, where authenticity is considered a mediator of these relationships. Based on the results of the mediation analysis, it was proved that the relationship between mindfulness and engagement is fully mediated by authenticity. While the direct relationship between mindfulness and engagement ceased to be significant (β = -.0632, p = .543), the indirect relationship was significant (β = -.2196, p < .001). Key words Engagement, authenticity, mindfulness, work-related motivation, proactivity,...
Accuracy Analysis Of Rotor Frequency Calculation For Induction Motor Drive
Lažek, Tomáš
This paper deals with the accuracy analysis of rotor frequency calculations for an analyticalformula of the optimal linkage flux. First, an equivalent circuit of the induction machine and a loss modelare described. Furthermore, the calculation of the rotor frequency is performed for two cases, which arecompared. The results show that the rotor frequency can be calculated in a simplified form without a largedifference in accuracy.
