Financial analysis of the brewery Heineken Česká republika, a.s

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze financial health of the brewery Heineken Česká republika, a.s. in the years 2007 to 2010. This thesis includes two parts -- the theoretical and the practical one. The first part deals with the characteristics of financial analysis and its individual methods that are used in the second one. The practical part involves basic information about the company and its history. This is followed by the financial analysis based on horizontal and vertical analysis, balance sheet rules, ratio indicators, economic value added and bankruptcy and standing models. This thesis also includes a cross-company comparison to the competitive brewery Budějovický Budvar, n.p.
Financial analysis of the joint-stock company Vysoký Chlumec Brewery

The goal of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the financial health of the joint-stock company Vysoký Chlumec Brewery between the years 2006 and 2010. The work is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part describes the nature and selected tools of financial analysis. These are afterwards in the practical part applied on the selected company and commented on their outputs. Specifically, the methods of financial analysis are absolute, financial and differential ratios, balance rules, economic value added and three representatives of the bankruptcy models. My effort in this thesis is to map the fundamental factors that affected the financial position of the join-stock company Vysoký Chlumec Brewery within a defined period, from the view of an external analyst.
The use of logistics in a manufacturing company

The graduation thesis deals with the use of logistics in the brewery Pivovar Protivín a. s. The paper presents a view of the current situation of Czech breweries in the Czech Republic as well as in the world. It maps the trends of recent years in the brewing industry and shows how Czech breweries have faced up the economic crisis. The results of Pivovar Protivín are presented and compared with the results of Svijany brewery. The distribution of Protivín brewery products is analyzed. Based on the analysis, the time frame of beer delivery to customers is made. Further on, the questions of the packaging management in Protivín brewery are dealt with. Breweries are specific for complex and expensive reverse logistics of returnable packaging. The question whether producing beer in PET bottles would be appropriate for Protivín brewery is studied. Determining the level of services provided for brewery customers is examined. According to the results presented here, the greatest demands on services provided by breweries appeared to be those by the customers in gastronomy sphere. Based on the questionnaire investigation, the standards in providing brewing services were set together. Finally, I suggested possible improvements that should lead to cost savings, greater flexibility of operations and competitive advantages for the Protivín brewery as well as for the whole K Brewery Group.
Financial and strategic analysis of the company Pivovar Svijany a.s.

The thesis provides financial and strategic analysis of the brewery Pivovar Svijany a.s. as a basis for subsequent valuation of the company. It provides a basis for choosing appropriate valuation methods and data for their subsequent application. The thesis is divided into four parts; the first part provides basic information about the company, its history and its activities. The second part analyses the financial health of the company by financial statement analysis and ratios analysis. The results of the company are then compared with competitors in the same industry. The third part is devoted to strategic analysis; it defines the relevant market in terms of volume and values. It provides alternative forecast scenarios of market development. It arrives to the projections of revenues of Svijany by synthesis and analysis of market forecasts and forecasts of competitive power. The final section summarizes the results of financial and strategic analysis.

Bachelor thesis is focused on evaluating financial situation of company Rodinný pivovar BERNARD, a.s. in period of years 2004-2009. Theoretical part introduces methods, models and techniques applied in practical part. Thesis also contains company introduction and information about brewery market in the Czech Republic. Practical part analyses financial statements, evaluates their progress and compares available values using financial ratios. Calculation of economical value added is included as well as analysis of results acquired from used prediction models.

The objective of the thesis is to estimate the value of Rodinný pivovar BERNARD a. s., a small brewery based in Humpolec, Czech Republic, as of 31th December 2010. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical parts describes applied methods and approaches, the application part includes company profile, strategic analysis, financial analysis, analysis and prognosis of value drivers, financial plan and final valuation. The company was valued using the DCF Entity method.
