Cogeneration Unit
Černý, Jakub ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a technical-economical design of cogeneration unit for drying of biomass resources for the subsequent processing. The first part of this work is devoted to biomass. There is described in detail its division into various types, their characteristics and usage, as well as the technology of drying and processing the biomass into forms of normative fuels and description of cogeneration devices that use biomass as fuel. The second section lists the input parameters from the investor for the subsequent calculation of the thermal cycle and cogeneration source selection. The last part is devoted to technical and economical evaluation of various design options and offering the better option for implementation.
Heat pump with accumulation
Pluške, Zbyněk ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
Given bachelor thesis deals with the heat pump and the accumulation of heat energy produced. At first there is a description of the principle of heat pump operation. There are also distinguished types of heat pumps, depending on where taking low heat from. The following chapter deals with the accumulation of thermal energy, and again there is a list of the most popular types. In the next section is given a sample object with a known heat loss, which is calculated for heating and warming TUV. There is also proposed possible transfer of thermal energy from the warm days of heating period in the colder days. At the end, an economic evaluation of the heat pump with heat accumulation is done.
Power production in cogeneration units
Šaroun, Josef ; Vašek,, Vladimír (referee) ; Caha, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the technical-economic evaluation of the advantages of combined pruduction of electrical and thermal energy, depending on the current offer price of feed, bonuses and allowances.. There are described co-generational technologies and used for units with performance up to 500 kWe. There are discussed in detail cogeneration units based on reciprocating internal combustion engines. The thesis contents evaluation of various modes of operation of co-generation unit, depanding on the results is chosen the most suitable mode. Daily yield was calculated in relation with prices paid for commodities and service. Co-generational contribution were considered as well as contribution for decentralized production of electricity. From the operational and economical point of view the most effective mode of running the co-generation unit is 12 hours mode. The economical evaluation of input was made. If the operational mode of the unit would follow the suggested mode, the financial return of input would be in two years. With the correct operation the co-generation unit would generate the income about 21,8 mil. CZK.
Heating of the Residential Building
Molnár, Lukáš ; Topič, Jan (referee) ; Vendlová, Lucie (advisor)
The goal of the work is to design heating and hot water production in an apartment block. Condensing gas boilers were designed for a heating system and a hot water storage tank, boilers should be located in a technical room in basement. Plate and tubular heating units are the heating surfaces. Heat consumption measurements in flats are gauged by remotely monitored calorimeters. The temperature in each flat is controlled by an electrically powered zone valve.
The use of renewable resources in an apartment building
Vejnarová, Nikola ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
The thesis proposes a heating and hot water in apartment building. The first part deals with renewable energy sources in general. The second part solves separate proposal for heating and hot water using the particular renewable source of heat - split heat pump air / water.
Heating the building of hotel type
Fornůsek, Patrik ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to design heating and hot water preparation for Vir hotel. The hotel is a new building with four floors. The thesis is devided into three parts. The theoretical part deals with the technical equipment of boiler rooms, gas heating, condensing boilers, regulation of heating systems and chimneys. The second part is focused on calculations of heat loss, a design of radiators, pipe dimensioning, a design of heat source, hot water preparation and design of safety devices such as expansion vessels and safety valves. The third part contains a technical report and technical drawings.
Renewable sources of energy for residential houses.
Hvězda, Jan ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
The thesis “Renewable sources of energy for residential houses“ is aimed at the design of the source of energy for residential house. The heating of the house is provided with plate and tubular heating bodies. The thesis consists of three main studies of energy sources from which the most optimal and the most effective source of energy will be chosen.
Heating of the Kindergarten
Náglová, Michaela ; Topič, Jan (referee) ; Vendlová, Lucie (advisor)
This thesis deals with a theoretic description of underfloor heating system, its parameters and describes a design of ventilation used in school buildings. The aim of its practical part is a design of a heating system for kindergarten building, a system of hot water distribution, heat sources and forced ventilation for chosen rooms. The heating system combines radiators and underfloor heating. Calculations are based on thermal performance of each room.
Heating type of hotel building
Rulíšková, Pavla ; Ambrožová, Iva (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes design of hotel and restaurant heating. The work is divided in several parts. The first part presents theory of cascade boilers. There are described the basic parts of this systems, their design and regulation. The second part is devoted to calculations. There are calculation of heat losses, design of radiators, design of heat source, pipe dimensionig, hydraulic assessment and desing of safety devices. In the third part is attached technical report and drawings of radiators connection a and drawings of boiler connection.
Using a combination of optimization, simulation and multiple-criteria decision analysis methods for a selection of heat sources in a residential building
Murčová, Veronika ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Dlouhá, Zuzana (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to select a suitable heat source for a residential building using simulation modeling and multiple-criteria decision analysis. The market is offering plenty of possibilities, thus the part of this thesis is dedicated to description of main characteristics and pros and cons of most common heat sources (e.g. coal, biomass, natural gas, electricity, heat pumps). There are many ways to decide which source is an optimal solution for a house. In this thesis, there are presented four possible approaches: decision based on the analysis of the total costs of the source and the methods WSA, TOPSIS and ELECTRE III. In the end, the results of these methods are summarized together with the qualitative factors which are also considered in the decision making process.
