The role of budgets in non-governmental non-profit organizations

Bachelor's thesis is focused on the role of budgets in non-governmental non-profit organizations. It consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains two chapters. The first chapter will tell us about non-profit organizations, their characteristics and differences from the profit sector. The second chapter contains informations about budgeting, specifically what types of budgets we know and how are they compiled. In the practical part I will bring the issue of the budget analysis of the mission in Afghanistan of the public benefit company People in Need. I`ll compare the amount of all cost items under the plan with their actual amount and then I am going to try to determine how well were the provided resources used by the organization.

Measurement of the Efficiency of Bed Facilities in the Czech Republic

This thesis concentrates on effective providing of hospital health services. It tries to capture basic processes of hospital performance, describe persons who are associated with its activities and reveal reasons which can stand behind different efficiency and effectiveness of hospitals. The first part involves information on bed facilities, specifies efficiency and related terms. It includes an analysis of the utility functions of individual participants on the hospital services market and discusses an influence of different payment systems on the efficiency. The second part is focused on a practical demonstration of the measurement of the efficiency in the Czech hospitals.

Řízení nákladů v mezinárodním prostředí prostřednictvím outsourcingu

Práce se zabývá řízením nákladů v mezinárodním prostředí prostřednictvím outsourcingu. První kapitola stručně popisuje historický vývoj outsourcingu. Druhá část práce rozebírá obecně výhody a nevýhody outsourcingu. Třetí část se věnuje outsourcingu z pohledu mezinárodní společnosti a charakterizuje nejčastější teritoria pro offshore outsourcing a jejich možné budoucí perspektivy. Ve čtvrté části práce je doporučen postup přechodu k outsourcingu a celý tento proces je zde rozdělen do několika fází. Pátou kapitolu tvoří praktický příklad outsourcingu velké mezinárodní společnosti.

Implementation of the digital archive in multinational company

The goal of this work was to process the problematic of the digital archive -- implementation of the digital archive into the payroll system include completion analysis of effectiveness. A part of this diploma work includes detailed analysis of the effectiveness of the digital archive used in the company with the international activity, from its benefits till its cost that relate with the implementation of the digital archive. In the work it is described the problematic with the implementation itself in praxis, it is explaining the digital archive from the technological aspect in detail, even from the users side. It is described the process of extensive analysis of the digital archive in the company and comparing with the manual archiving of the data, with the help of the multi-criteria decision making. The goal was to find out if the implementation of the digital archive has got such a proofing value and met the expectation of all ADP managers. For the calculation there was used the method the determination of the weight of certain criteria and the levels of realization. The method was used for analyzing of the benefits, analyzing of the cost came from actual measurable units. Then there were used three methods for the comparison of the costs and incomes: creation of the quotient of costs and incomes, the graphical scheme of costs and incomes and transformation of the costs into incomes and defining the value of benefits. This whole process of calculation was repeated twice. In the first part there were used my own experience and knowledge and the weight was chosen by my opinion. Then In the second part there was used a question-form that was given to the German clients.

Analýza a vývoj daňových nákladů ve firmě podnikající v zemědělství

Základním cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza vývoje daňově uznatelných, resp. neuznatelných nákladů ve firmě zabývající se zemědělskou výrobou. Převážná část práce spočívá právě v analýze českého zákona o daních z příjmů, a sice od roku 1997, kdy již zmiňovaná firma vznikla, po současnost. Závěry této bakalářské práce poslouží firmě jako podklad pro budoucí rozhodování v oblastech týkajících se daňových nákladů.

Nuclear energy in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the topic of nuclear energy. The Czech Republic is currently a net electricity exporter however this status will probably change in next few years because of growing electricity consumption and decommissioning of obsolete coal-fired power plants. Moreover, contemporary government declared that it won't approve any construction of new reactors stressing the importance of renewable sources of energy (in spite of their limited potential in the Czech Republic). The goal of this thesis is to answer the question whether nuclear energy can compete with other sources of energy and whether is it possible to satisfy growing electricity consumption under the conditions of the Czech Republic by any other source of electricity besides nuclear energy taking into account environmental aspects.
