Tourism and recreation in selected area of Šumava foothills

The target of my work was the revaluating of the present state of tourism in the choosen area of Pootaví. At selected locations: Annín, The Rabí Castle and the Pracheň Ruins was carried out questionnaire research. Through questionnaire research the current customers were assessed. The image of individual sites were examined, the intensity of feelings, experienced by visitors, the perception of the sites, operating activities and the motivation to visit the area. On the basis of executed research on demand and supply of tourism in the choosen area I consider the options appropriate to the optimization use this area of tourism and recreation.

This work attends to the area of South Prachaticko. The chief aim of my work was to evaluate the current state of tourism in the choosen area. The thesis deals with assessment of the structure of assumptions for tourism. For this assessment was found out the offer of the particular attractions. Through questionnaire research the current customers were assessed. For this evaluation there were examined the image of individual sites, the intensity of feelings, experienced by visitors, the perception of the sites, operating activities and the motivation to visit the area. The last aim was to assess opportunities for further development of tourism in the service area.

Analysis of tourism services in the region Novohradsko

Project analyses services of Tourism area of Novohradske mountains and Novohradske foothills and completly characterize potencial of Tourism in this location, through some analysis. Concretely is here used situational analysis, STEP analysis, destination demand analysis and analysis of competitive advantage. Than it was estabilished analysis of Tourism services (basic and supplementary services). The point of project was proposition of product portfolio and marketing mix of destination which was coming out of these analasys and field survey (form of questionnaire). It was putting the accent on frame of view on progression and propagation of destination. Through hypotheses were solved classification of Tourism services and traffic or tourist notation seen tourists eyes.

The analysis of the accommodation services in Ceske Budejovice

The thesis is mainly focused on the analysis of the tourism and accommodation services in Ceske Budejovice. The main goal of the thesis is the analysis of the accommodation facilities in Ceske Budejovice. The importace of the thesis consists in identifying the state of the supply of accommodations services, the level and the quality of the accommodation facilities in Ceske Budejovice. The study includes assessment of the current services, the breadth and the depth. In order to elaborate this thesis 134 questionnaires in the survey were obtained, 13 out of 19 hotels in Ceske Budejovice participated in the interviews. The analysis was conducted using the mystery guest services. The purpose of this thesis is also to provide observations gained as a basis for the future studies, to help develop the supply of accommodation services (and even more in the work of sub-analyzed services) in Ceske Budejovice.

The aim of the diploma thesis was to analyze the accommodation offer at Horská Kvilda,specifically comparison of quality and price connected accessibility of such services. One of the partial aims was to analyze current state of the selected accommodation unit, Lovecká chata, situated in the Horská Kvilda municipality, Šumava tourist region. Based on the comparison analysis and a field research to suggest measures leading to improvement of the market position of the accommodation unit.

Analysis of the development of hotel business in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries and the impact of financial crisis in this area

Hotel businesses in Czech republic has changed dramatically in last 20 years. Therefore, it is interesting to follow its development and see the most influential aspects in this area. However, so far there are none publicly available studies of Czech hotel industry development. The aim of this thesis is to explore the various phases the industry went through and point out those factors which influenced the current situation the most. First of all, the analysis of the development in Czech republic is presented. Consequently, the comparison to the neighbor states is discussed to show relatively how well or bad the business was evolving. The thesis is based on statistical models created with the software STATGRAPHICS and Excel. The gained results show that one of the main reasons of the current downfall is the ever higher market supply. On the other hand, the always blamed economical crises, proved to have lesser influence upon the downfall than originally expected. Finally, the thesis states the reasons of the decreasing occupancy and proposes an increase in the quality of service as a possible solution.

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is a deeper look on the problems of distribution and promotion of accommodation establishments, analysis of the forms of sale on the internet and their comparison with other types of sale. On the basis of the analysis of on-line internet booking systems, their role among other forms of distribution of accommodation establishments and position on the market was shown.

Position of tourism in the economy of new members of EU - Bulgaria, Romania

The thesis describes development of tourism in the economy of the European Union with a closer focus on new member states - Bulgaria and Romania. The first part describes develepment of tourism in EU as a whole, focusing on tourist nights, intensity of tourism and accommodation capacity. The second part takes a closer look at the factors which influence development of tourism in EU and the last part compares Bulgaria and Romania. The objective of the thesis is to get the results of this comparison and to destine possible development in the future.

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá vzťahom ubytovacích zariadení k životnému prostrediu - stanovuje kritické oblasti činností zariadení a pomáha nájsť riešenia jednotlivých problémov. Práca sleduje súčasný záujem ubytovacích zariadení o životné prostredie, charakterizuje systém enviromentálneho manažmentu a bližšie sa venuje ekoznačeniu, jeho histórii, princípom a rozšíreniu v Českej republike. Praktická časť sa sústreďuje na hodnotenie plnenia podmienok pre získanie ekoznačky Ekologicky šetrná služba/The Flower konkrétnym ubytovacím zariadeniam - mapuje súčasnú situáciu a podáva návrhy na možné zmeny v činnosti zariadenia.
