Wireless data logger for environmental monitoring - server-side
Bártek, Jiří ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This work describes the design and implementation of the server-side component, which is part of a comprehensive task for measuring temperature in medical storage spaces and sending the measured temperature at specified time intervals. The created device will receive the measured data and subsequently send it to an e-mail address. The introductory part deals with the legislation related to the storage of medicines and further provides the reader with theoretical information about the used devices and protocols. The next section of the work introduces the implementation of the device and software solution. The outcome of the work is a device capable of communicating with another microcontroller and sending the received data to a selected e-mail address for subsequent archiving.
RF monitor tool
Hűbl, Filip ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis investigates the detection of active WiFi and Bluetooth devices via a Raspberry Pi mini computer using Kismet software. Monitoring is performed in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The thesis discusses in detail the principles of operation of these technologies and methods of their possible detection. The results obtained provide information on the total number of active devices identified during the measurements, the movement of these devices and these devices are further categorized according to their type.
Enterprise WiFi Infrastructure for IoT Applications
Moravčík, Adam ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
The thesis analyses contemporary WiFi technologies and the requirements of the client for the characteristics of the built WiFi infrastructure. The thesis documents the detailed design of WiFi infrastructure with support of modern technologies such as IoT. The design has been implemented considering corporate standards and secured user access to the network. The design also included the predictive deployment of access points in the company premises. The thesis further documents the actual installation of individual components, their configuration and interconnection to meet the required functionality. The thesis captures the final testing of the required characteristics of the built WiFi infrastructure along with post-implementation measurement of the signal coverage of the premises. Based on the test results, final modifications were then implemented to improve the WiFi infrastructure.
Monitoring the living environment in the house
Dlugoš, Daniel ; Ježek, Michal (referee) ; Staněk, Kamil (advisor)
This work, tries to create a small, rechargeable and portable device that senses temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, dust particles, carbon dioxide and VOC concentration. The air quality monitor can reliably measure the physical quantities encountered in every indoor environment, evaluate them and display them to the user. The sensors, data storage module and OLED display are housed on a custom-made PCB board.
Small solar power plant
Šimůnek, Patrik ; Kolouch, Jaromír (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a small solar power-station utilizing a lead-acid battery. Its purpose is to provide power for small household applicances. This project consists of a theoretical design of the system, detailed design of MPPT regulator and a design of schematic circuitry and PCB. Finally, actual measured parameters of the whole systém are presented.
Design of a WIFI Network in a Hospital
Badin, Vojtěch ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on functional and efficient design of WiFi network which will be able to satisfy needs of pacients and employees of hospital which is based in a city with 10 000 inhabitants. By implementing this project, the hospital will achieve a better quality of service especially for patients who need to stay there for a long time. The thesis includes design of cable routing, selection and setting of active elements and economic evaluation of investment.
Automation of RC Models Control
Vávra, Jan ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is about controlling RC model with microcontroller ESP-32 through WiFi enabled mobile device with OS Android. Goal of this thesis is to make controlling RC model easier and more fun. Parts of this thesis are dealing with using pulse width modulation to control servos, creating a user interface and making a protocol for comunication between RC model and mobile device. Result of this work is application on OS Android, which sends instructions on microcomputer, that controls steering servo and elecromotor. System has predefined stunts on microcomputer and operator has a choice of defining custom stunt in application, which is send to microcomputer in series of individual instructions.
Automation of RC Models Control with Videocamera
Záň, Drahoslav ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Nowadays, there is a big variety of RC models, but their use and control is basicaly the same. The aim of this thesis is therefore a modification of suitable RC model in such way, that it can be controlled via PC. The model is equipped with a computer plus video camera and using wireless technology is enabled video transmission into the final destination. This modified model can be used as a simple tool to explore an unknown terrain, or for spying purposes.
Network Infrastructure reconstruction
Ondruš, František ; Štelbacký, Slavomír (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
Subject to my paper is design and reconstruction of the network infrastructure at Základná škola in Levoča. Their job is to design and change the infrastructure by complete innovation of computer labs, speeding up data transfers (safety solution included).
Measurement of temperature on swimming pool water
Moravec, Luboš ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with measuring the temperature of the pool water, control of heating and transmit the data remotely to a computer or mobile device. Includes description of the measuring device, the function and design of possible implementation. It also explores the issue of measuring sensors, communication with the microcontroller and control of remote communication. Thesis also concern the selection of components, design diagrams, PCB design and structural design of the device. This thesis also includes software that deals with data processing and communications at distance.
