The aim of the bachelor’s project is to design a low-energy detached house. First part of project is focused on the structural and architectural design, building physics and fire safety of building. The plot is situated in the west of Hostinné and terrain is almost flat. The building is designed as two-storey detached house with flat green roof above first floor and flat blue roof above second floor and garage with green roof next to the house. The building is designed on concrete strip foundations and the load-bearing walls and ceilings of the building are designed of cross-laminated timber. The entrance to the plot and also to the house is in the north. On the first floor there is living room, kitchen, bathroom, WC, utility room, home office and pantry. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, master bedroom and bathroom. Second part of project is focused on the energy performance certificate, detailed design of sanitary installations and concepts of building services such as heating and ventilation. The designed house was classified as A in EPC. The rainwater will be partly retained in the green roofs and the rest will be accumulated in stormwater tank and further used for garden irrigation. Excess water will be infiltrated into the ground on the property. The house will be heated by a pellet boiler and heat distribution will be ensured through underfloor heating and radiators. The building is designed with a ventilation unit with heat recovery and photovoltaic panels.
Apartment Building
Nedomanský, Vojtěch ; Zichová, Barbora (referee) ; Lavický, Miloš (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design and develop project documentation at the construction implementation level for an apartment building. The subject of the bachelor's thesis was the appropriate use of structural, thermal-technical, and material solutions. It is a basement four-story apartment building of irregular shape, which contains a total of 13 apartment units, with each apartment unit assigned a basement storage room located in the basement part of the building. The building is founded on strip foundations and a base slab. The vertical load-bearing system of the above-ground floors consists of Therm-type ceramic blocks with a certified contact insulation system. The vertical load-bearing system in the basement floor is made using lost formwork blocks filled with concrete. Therm-type acoustic blocks are used for the internal load-bearing walls. Monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling slabs were designed as the ceiling structure. The apartment building is roofed with a single-layer flat green roof with a constant slope, which is prepared for the placement of photovoltaic panels to utilize alternative energy sources.
Apartment building

On the second floor there is a common terrace. The apartment building is based on strip foundations made of plain concrete. External walls in the basement are made of calcium silicate blocks and the external walls of the above-ground floors are made of aerated concrete blocks. The floor structure is prefabricated structure, which is made of reinforced concrete beams and aerated concrete inserts. The roofing of the building is made of a vegetation single-skin flat roof. The building is insulated with the ETICS contact insulation system.
Static provision of baroque church
Kadlec, Jaroslav ; Šiška, Radek (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The master´s thesis solves a static provision of the Baroque church of Saint James in Městečko Trnávka. The church was built in 1752 in Baroque style on the place of the original Romanesque church. It is a single-nave building with dimensions of about 46 × 20 m. The nave is followed by a massive square tower with a height of about 34 m. The reason for the restoration of the church are cracks in the external masonry and arch due to small space stiffness. The building will be reinforced by horizontal and transverse prestressing. They are designed prestressing tendons, called monostrands, using method of alternative cable channels. It will help to avoid other derformations and it will increase a stiffness of the structure.
Sports complex
Touš, Jakub ; Pobořil, Lukáš (referee) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The main focus of this thesis is to design the expansion and modernization of a sport complex "U Jezu" for a sport club TJ Roztoky. This thesis is consisted of a study for a territorial agreement. In this study, there are indicated a formation of two playing fields with the artificial surfaces, beach volleyball court proposing two building objects as a base for the entire complex, which consists of garages, storages and a main building. A more detailed design was created for the main building. As the supporting structure of the object, the transverse wall system completed with outdoor columns supporting the cantilevered portion of the ceiling tiles, which are mainly unidirectionally reinforced concrete floor slabs. The supporting structure is based on the strip foundations. The designed building object has two-above ground floors and a ground floor, which will be created by embedding the building object into the hill side. The ground floor is designed for the relaxation and the leisure purposes. Moreover, there is also a technological equipment necessary for the operation of the facility. On the first above ground floor, there are designed locker rooms for athletes, a club room with a kitchen and an accommodation unit for a manager of the complex. The second floor is for the accommodation. There are designed rooms with lounge and office of the president of the sport club. Part of the second floor consists of a terrace. For the roofing, a flat roof with a single-classic sequence of layers is designed. In this thesis, the static is partially solved. Furthermore, the object is evaluated in the terms of lighting, acoustic and thermal requirements as well as requirements for the fire safety of buildings.
Implementation of Subtructure of family house in Třebíč - Nové Město
