Smart home based on Loxone
Karnatov, Vitalij ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
In this thesis, the issue of intelligent home was addressed. The aim of the work was to describe and explain the concept of smart home, to conduct a research of available systems on our market and to describe the principles and functioning of smart home through the Loxone system. Furthermore, the thesis describes the design and implementation of a intelligent home through the Loxone system and its configuration in the Loxone Config software. The thesis marginally discusses the communication protocols used by smart home systems, the historical development and compares intelligent and conventional home.
Control of appliances by Raspberry Pi
Panský, Michal ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of hardware and software solutions for controlling household appliances using Raspberry Pi. The software part utilizes modern frameworks for creating web and mobile applications such as Svelte and SvelteNative, as well as programming languages like Typescript, Svelte, Python, and NativeScript. The thesis also describes the design and implementation of both the hardware and software parts, followed by the setup and execution of the entire program and the results of testing.
Multiagentní systém učící se maximalizovat komfort uživatelů v rámci Smart Home
Čábela, Radek ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis comes with a solution, how to work with feedback, Smart Home devices and "agents" in a way that minimizes direct Smart Home parameters changes coming from house inhabitants and therefore increases their comfort. Resulting simulation demonstrating the funcionality of the system design is focused on problematics regarding changing temperature inside of a house.
Comparison of Cloud Systems for Smart Home
Sobol, Patrik ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with comparison of the biggest cloud computing platforms, Amazon and Google, with high interest in services focused on smart home. It examines connection of services between each other and it summarises options of data transport between device and cloud using protocol MQTT. By integrating of cloud services dashboard is created, which allows to control devices in household.
From a Dumb Boiler to a Smart One Using a Smart Socket
Grünwald, Adam ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to extend a smart home by a smart boiler created from a dumb one with help of a smart plug and two temperature sensors for measuring values in a boiler. This smart boiler will be able to adapt to the household's schedule of using hot water using a learning algorithm, which uses historical data of hot water consumption measured on the boiler. Heating to higher temperature is happening before expected consumption or on request, which is represented as a special event in Google Calendar. The boiler can be either turned off with help of Google Calendar, which can be used when the whole family goes on holiday and it isn't needed to heat the water in the boiler. Programs for collecting and evaluating data, managing the heating of boiler, the database, and service showing statistics, run on a laptop in a local network. The main benefit of the thesis is creating a device, which can adapt boiler to smart home and reduce electricity costs on hot water heating by more than 30 %, which on 80 l boiler represents savings of more than 130 Euro per year.
Realization of a Model with a Smart Home Components
Fuxa, Dominik ; Sýkora, Tomáš (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
At the beginning, Bachelor thesis introduces possible smart home solutions that have already been designed and tested, whether from different companies or freely available open-source solutions. Subsequently, the work is devoted to selecting components for the smart home, programming its own software for managing the smart home, as well as designing a complete functional model.
Intelligent Household Management
Unzeitig, Patrik ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out how intelligent household management works and then to design and construct system to control home's temperature. This thesis focuses on creation of physical part using Raspberry Pi and on implementation of controlling application, which can be used through touchscreen. Application uses XML file to make data persistent.
Modular Framework for Sensor Data Processing
Rašovský, Martin ; Viktorin, Jan (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of concept and realization of the server application for a smart home system, where the purpose of the whole application is in the form of framework that offers the calculations and possible actions among the system. The theoretical part of this thesis analyses and describes architecture of the existing system with the focus on the server part. From previous analysis is derived the concept of the application . The concept describes the way of communication with other nodes of the system, storing data and configuration . Further the thesis selects the used technologies and deals with the implementation details of the project. Furthermore the thesis documents testing , the integration into described smart home system and results of functionality of the application . In the conclusion is discussed further possible expansions of the project.
From a Dumb Boiler to a Smart One Using a Smart Socket
Mitura, Jacek ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
Nowadays, the world of smart devices is growing very fast. Nevertheless, it remains difficult to acquire smart device for water heating applications. The usual reasons complicating this fact include the lack of the possibility of connection to the central control unit, or the need to replace the entire boiler with a new smart model. In both cases, the additional disadvantage is the higher price of such a solution. Therefore, the aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a comprehensive and affordable solution, ensuring the conversion of an existing boiler to smart using a smart socket and a central server controlling the household. The solution uses a daily consumption forecast based on an exponential moving average to save electricity.
Smart cottage
Sýkora, Martin ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and implementation of a smart house system. The system is controlled by a logic module SIEMENS LOGO!, which provides object monitoring or continuous temperature measurement. System status is regularly logged. A web user interface has been created to transmit information and control the system by user.
