The bachelor thesis deals with the impact of the new Civil Code on the Czech market of the MTPL Insurance (Motor Third Party Liability Insurance). The theoretical part is focused on the definition of risk, on the principles of functioning of insurance and the changes that the new Civil Code brings. In the practical part are identified key players in the MTPL Insurance market at first, also is described the development of the market before and after the beginning of 2014 and based on this is then evaluated the impact of the new Civil Code on the MTPL Insurance market.

This paper deals with the recodification of civil law and its impact on tourism entrepreneurs in particular the tour operators and travel agencies. The theoretical part focuses on explaining the concepts that relate to the new Civil Code and the description of the biggest changes that this amendment brings. In the practical part, the survey was designed to determine how entrepreneurs in tourism are familiar with the changes that occurred in tourism after January 2014, and also what financial costs these changes brought.

This diploma thesis deals with taxation of non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, the Great Britain and Switzerland. The issue of taxation of non-profit organizations is currently widely discussed. It is primarily focused on the tax reliefs of non-profit organizations. Using the method of comparison, the selected countries taxation regimes are compared and afterwards there are proposed some changes in taxation of non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic, in order to respect the simplicity, clarity and minimal administrative requirements for this type of organizations. The diploma thesis is mainly focused on income tax of corporate bodies and value added tax.

Selected issues of inheritance law according to Act No. 141/1950 Coll., Civil Code, in comparasion with recent legislation Abstract The thesis deals with selected issues of inheritance law according to Act No. 141/1950 Coll., Civil Code (hereinafter referred to as "CC 1950"), and compares them with the current legislation. The Civil Code 1950, which came into force on 1 January 1951, significantly reformed the form of the existing (then) inheritance law, excluding a number of legal institutes from the legal system in order to simplify the legal regulation. For example, the legal institutes of the contract of inheritance, fideicommissary substitution, donation mortis causa, codicil, etc. were abandoned. The current legal regulation, i.e. Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code (hereinafter referred to as the "CC 2012"), which is partly inspired by the General Civil Code promulgated by Imperial Patent No. 946/1811 Coll., restores some of the previously abandoned legal institutes. It must be admitted, however, that in some essential matters of inheritance law the recent legislation also follows the tradition established by the CC 1950, in particular as regards the issue of the moment of transfer of rights and obligations from the testator to the heirs. Legal Status of the Settlor of a Trust Abstract The thesis focuses on the legal regulation of the settlor of a trust within the Czech legal system. The settlor sets aside part of his property and entrusts the trustee with the property. The set-aside property constitutes a separate and independent ownership. Its administration is governed by law and rules defined by the settlor. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the legal status of the settlor and to identify possible difficulties arising from the legal regulation. The first two chapters of the thesis contain a definition of the Czech trust and a brief overview of the process of its incorporation into the Czech legal system. The legal regulation of trusts under Czech law was inspired by the legal regulation of the trust of the Canadian province of Quebec. The third chapter covers the purpose of a trust. The settlor sets aside property into the trust for a private or publicly beneficial purpose. The administration of the assets must always be in accordance with the purpose of the trust. The fourth chapter focuses on the process of creating a trust. It deals with the difference between creating a trust during the settlor's lifetime and creating it through a disposition mortis causa. This bachelor thesis focuses on a comprehensive analysis of a real estate purchase agreement, including its legal framework and potential risks for both parties - the seller and the buyer. The theoretical part provides a detailed interpretation of the basic concepts and principles related to the contract of sale and transfer of immovable property. It defines key aspects such as the object of purchase, purchase price, acquisition of title, incidental arrangements and termination of the contract. The practical part presents a detailed analysis of a model contract of sale and transfer immovable property. It identifies and describes in detail the potential risks and shortcomings commonly encountered in practice. It proposes concrete and practical solutions to prevent risks and minimise their impact on the ontracting parties. The aim of the work is to provide a comprehensive overview of the problems of the purchase contract on the transfer of immovable property. To raise awareness of the risks and pitfalls associated with this type of contract.
Effect of amendments to the Civil Code on the real estate practice

On 1 January 2014 the new Civil Code no. 89/2012 Coll., which affected many areas, came into force. This thesis deals with the changes that have an impact on real estate activities. To the change of the Civil Code no. 40/1964 Coll. an introduction of new Cadastral law no. 256/2013 Coll. is closely related. Influence of this Cadastral law on a real estate practice is also described in this work. The conclusion summary of this work is a mapping of changes and an assessment of the extent to which they affect a real estate practice.
