A comparison of eroticism in post-revolution era of Vladimír Páral's prose with Fifti Shades of Grey

This thesis compares eroticism in the post-revolutionary work of the Czech prose writer Vladimír Páral with the bestseller Fifty Shades of Grey by the British writer E. L. James. From Páral's work, the works of Dekameron 2000 or Love in Prague, Playgirls, Book of pleasure, laughter and joy, and the Book about the whip are discussed. Also included is The Professional: Vladimír Páral about himself and other interesting things, which came out in the 1990s, but it is an autobiography. Therefore, this book will be included in the chapter on autobiographical connotations. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first one is mainly terminological, it explains the terms sex, eroticsm, pornography, erotic and pornographic literature and love. The second part deals with the authors themselves and their body of work. It is organised into sub-chapters in which specific pieces are analysed. In the case of Páral, the parallel between the Book of pleasure, laughter and joy and Kundera's Book of laughter and forgetting is also taken into account. In the case of Fifty Shades of Grey, some similarities with the erotism in Milan Kundera's work are found. Information behavior and learning in the context of new media: Digital games and simulations as complex systems for information representation

This dissertation considers digital games and simulations as complex systems of information representation and explores their specific aspects influencing the process of knowledge acquisition. It focuses on process of mental model creation, information behavior and situational emotional and cognitive engagement. The methodological approach is grounded in variety of disciplines including information science, educational science, new media studies and computer science. The main method used is educational experiment. The use of digital game-based and non-digital game-based educational intervention is compared to similar program based on traditional schooling methods and classic lectures. The experiment outcomes are divided into four large segments exploring influence of digital games on process of mental models creation, motivation for future information behavior, situational emotional experience and social interaction.

Title: Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with total hip arthroplasty Summary: This bachelor's thesis deals with the therapeutic rehabilitation process in a patient with implantation of a total hip arthroplasty, which was made due to coxarthrosis. The general part deals with the anatomy and function of hip joint, coxarthrosis, provides general information about total hip arthroplasty and describes the possibilities of rehabilitation. In special part, in the form of casuistic of particular patient, is described therapeutic rehabilitation process. Finally, the effect of the therapy is evaluated. Game based learning as a new learning method

The main goal of this work is to summarize basic knowledge about the video games as an educational tool. The key part focuses on analyzing of existing sources of information and researches. The empirical part of the work is based on survey of motivational factors in specific video game created for educational purposes at the high schools in Czech Republic. The work brings integrated knowledge and concepts for practical use of video games as educational tool.
Effect of amendments to the Civil Code on the real estate practice

On 1 January 2014 the new Civil Code no. 89/2012 Coll., which affected many areas, came into force. This thesis deals with the changes that have an impact on real estate activities. To the change of the Civil Code no. 40/1964 Coll. an introduction of new Cadastral law no. 256/2013 Coll. is closely related. Influence of this Cadastral law on a real estate practice is also described in this work. The conclusion summary of this work is a mapping of changes and an assessment of the extent to which they affect a real estate practice.
