Postavení vodohospodářské společnosti v okrese Břeclav
Němečková, Petra
Drinking water supply is exclusively secured by the companies in monopoly position. Many of us mistakenly believe that the supply of drinking water and the collection of waste water is secured by only one water management company. There can be one or more water management companies in every district. In the district of Břeclav there is one water management company which secures drinking water supply in three areas: Břeclav, Hustopeče and Mikulov. Water management companies represent a territorial monopoly. Because of this they are subjects of control of the price determining authorities. In the case of water management company it is competent financial authority. This diploma thesis demonstrates that there is a decrease in water consumption while there is simultaneously an increase in the price of the consumed water, so that the water management company can generate sufficient profit to cover the operating costs and investment activities.
Influence of the antenna instalation method on the roof of the railway vehicle on achieved antenna parametres and radiation pattern
Drtina, Vojtěch ; Richterová,, Marie (referee) ; Theumer, Radek (advisor)
This thesis investigates the optimal placement of antennas for the system ETCS (European Train Control System) on railway vehicle and analyzes the impact of surrounding structures on the radiation characteristics of these antennas. The goal is to analyze and propose antenna placement to achieve maximum reliability in communication between vehicular antennas and the ETCS infrastructure. The thesis presents simulations of various antenna placements on 18Ev and 15Ev units as well as the methodology for real measurement of these vehicles. The thesis addresses the measurement and simulation of antenna radiation on large objects that cannot be placed in an anechoic chamber.
A Price Analyses on the Imperfect Competitive Market
Mendlíková, Iva ; Fibingrová, Veronika (referee) ; Škapa, Stanislav (advisor)
The main goal is to clarify price making on the imperfect competitive market. The work is focused on the individual degree of price discrimination too and contains proposal how to use attitudes of price making on this market to increase the demand for services, increasing sales and improving position on market.
The price of electricity and the choice of appropriate distribution rate
Hromek, Lukáš ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
This work is focused on the price of electricity, components that compose and factors affecting this price. Includes brief overview of energy legislation, namely to the rights and obligations of distributors of electricity, energy traders and customers. Furthermore, the work deals with the researches of the energy market in the Czech Republic, the different rates of selected suppliers and evaluating their suitability for the customer.
A Price Analyses on the Imperfect Competitive Market
Fait, Petr ; MBA, Jiří Rozsíval, (referee) ; Škapa, Stanislav (advisor)
To sum up, Imperfect competitive markets are results of influence of various market factors. They consist of economies of scale, variety of legal restrictions, a high amount of production costs, a product differentiation, a territorial dispersion and an imperfect consumer awareness of the market. Firstly, the principal sorts of imperfect competitors are monopolies, oligopolies and monopolist competition. The ability to stipulate the price of a product is characteristic for these kinds of imperfect competitors. Thus they are called price-makers. These imperfect competitors deal with a diminishing demand curve, in other words there is a dependence of a price on the volume of production. Moreover, this ability is used to maximalize a profit. Referring to the imperfect competitor, the most common method of maximalizing the profit is price discrimination, therefore the company is able to divide its customers into several groups and stipulate a different price of a same product for each of them. Nevertheless, in practice due to above mentioned factors we run across the imperfect competition in most of the cases. In addiction, the imperfect competition might be considered as a theoretical state, which is very similar to share dealing in general.
Computing directivity patterns in Comsol Multiphysics
Ryšánek, Martin ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
The individual project – Computing directivity patterns in Comsol Multiphysics. In the first part, the theoretical background for monopole antennas is reviewed. The second part is focused on the analysis of several types of monopoles in COMSOL Multiphysics, and on the calculation of their radiation patterns and impedances. Finally, simulation results are presented and discussed.
Water Pricing
Janišová, Marie ; Pavláková Dočekalová, Marie (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
The intention of this thesis is to assess whether it is economically advantageous formation of water prizes with using elements of price discrimination. The first part of thesis defines the theoretical basis on which it is based on practical part. The analytic part is dealing with cost of production and distribution of water, prizes of water and adequate profit in company. There is also described the current situation in the market including legislation related to the issue. The last part is own proposals for pricing.
Critical Analysis of Pricing in an Imperfectly Competitive Market
Tutková, Lucia ; Velička, Michal (referee) ; Škapa, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis clarifies terms such as monopoly, oligopoly and price discrimination. Subsequently an analyse of the price making of the selected company will be performed. The result of the thesis will be proposal a solution to increase the demand for services and at the same time achieve higher sales.
Antenna system for wireless microphones
Bartoš, Adam ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with the design of an antenna system for wireless sound transmission used mainly in professional sound reinforcement. The introductory part deals generally with wireless microphones, frequency bands used and proven antenna types. Next, this work deals with signal distribution that is realized using the antenna splitter. The antenna parts is focused on easy production and real usage, therefore were selected antennas with appropriate properties suitable for small series production. This thesis includes simulation of each device, their real construction design and measurements of built prototypes and final products. All three produced devices – the rack splitter, /4 antenna and Helix antenna are fully working, achieve good parameters and are ready for further manufacturing and easy modifications in case of frequency band change requirement. The conclusion includes an overall assessment of the results achieved.
