Design of a compact system for measurement of the indoor environment
Jančík, Josef ; Klimeš, Lubomír (referee) ; Pech, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with a design of a compact air quality measuring device. Theoretical part of the thesis introduces the reader with air quality measuring, measuring criteria and basic principles of measuring. Next part is dedicated to the design of the device – component selection, model creation and simulation of heat transfer between individual components. This parts also describes the connection between multiple devices and data collection. The following part presents practical testing of the device and the possibilities of its calibration. At the end of the thesis, the final device is evaluated in the terms of function and costliness.
Workplace environment monitoring platform
Lipták, Ivan ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
This work focuses on the design and construction of a platform for measuring air quality in the workplace. The platform will collect data on air conditions and subsequently evaluate this data for further processing into a database or possibly alerting the user. The platform will utilize an ESP32 microcontroller, to which various sensors and a display for real-time data visualization will be connected. The design will emphasize on the highest accuracy, flexibility of the device, and its diverse applications in manufacturing halls, offices, or even homes.
Data concentrator for data acquisition and wireless modules
Palacký, Tomáš ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design and construction of a system for repote measurement of air quality in buildings. The first section provides a selection and analysis of used hardware and software components: minicomputer Raspberry Pi, STM32F401 microcontroller, communication module XBee-Pro, CO2 sensor and also communication interfaces IC and USART. The next section includes a design of electrical wiring, circuit board, configuration of the wireless modules and a software implementation for microcontroller and the concentrator.
Residential rooms and air quality
Valkovič, Michal ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The master thesis solves indoor air quality in hotel rooms based on CO2 levels. The first part deals with indoor climate of buildings, where each form of indoor climate is described separately. The experimental part deals with CO2 level measurement in residual room, air infiltration through window and their analysis. The last part of thesis deals with results of the experiment, which are used to design and optimize hygienic ventilation, based on acquisition costs and operating expenses.
Automatic system of the central air circulation
Nedoma, Pravoslav ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Havlíček, Tomáš (advisor)
Project is target on design and realisation of device for control of central ventilation and air distribution. Control unit evaluates air quality in habitable rooms and assure automatic air change. System is driven by microprocessors and uses electronically controlled valves and ventilator regulation. Project is focused on evaluation of carbon dioxide concentration and detection of fire in rooms. Control unit cooperate and communicate via data bus with already designated control unit of hot water heating. Whole unit can be easing connected to the PC using ethernet.
Indoor environment in assembly halls
Janeček, Tomáš ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the creation of indoor air and requirements on it, describes the components of the internal environment, in particular the formation of carbon dioxide and its properties. It also deals with the experimental measurement of the concentration of carbon dioxide in the classrooms and the subsequent evaluation according to the valid legal regulations. In the last part, I dealt with a proposal for the creation of internal systems that are specified by the building.
System for Opening a Window Based on the Temperature and CO2 Concentration in the Room
Jůza, Tadeáš ; Bardonek, Petr (referee) ; Tisovčík, Peter (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to enable an automated maintenance of fresh air in a room. Using automated ventilation, so the smallest possible heat losses occur. The data from sensors of indoor and outdoor temperature, CO2, humidity, and window opening status have been collected and analyzed. Then a suitable algorithm has been selected to accomplish the required values. The program also contains an algorithm for predicting the system's behavior so the controlled appliances (window and heating) work together appropriately.
Ventilation Control Unit with Radio Time Synchronization
Barták, Jiří ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Tříska, Vít (advisor)
Project's primary objective was to create ventialtion control unit, which synchronizes its time through radio signal. Delivering power into fans is based on dew points calculated from data obtained on both sides of circumferential wall. The most important parts of this unit are microcontroller MC9S08DZ60, sensor SHT11 and DCF77 receiver. There is SD card socket on the inner printed circuit board for data recording purposes. I am working with the card on file system layer. The control unit uses USB socked as well to be able to communicate with PC. I have decomposed firmware of control unit into small modules at the start of development. Those modules are: MCU to MCU communication, USB communication, measuring temperature and relative humidity using SHT11 and extracting time information from DCF77 signal, all written in C. After these modules were tested, i have put them together. I have also written a PC application in Java. It is used to communicate with control unit and to process recorded data. Benefits of the control unit cannot be evaluated without long-term observation.
IoT air monitoring
Kousal, Martin ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor work is to make a device that can measure air quality parameters and send them wirelessly to the server, where that measured data are processed and then shown to the user. The aim is to create a device with the lowest possible power consumption for the possibility of battery operation.
