Predictive modelling on flight search data
Podhajecký, Viliam ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burgetová, Ivana (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of a web application aimed at predictive modeling of flight search data. The main goal is to provide users with tools for more informed decision-making when purchasing airline tickets. The work combines data mining methods and predictive modeling with advanced web development.
Automation of Customer Expirience Data Analysis in a Corporate Company Using Data Modelling Tools
Krmelová, Pavlína ; Lacko, Matej (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the automation of data analysis in the area of customer experience in a corporate company using data modeling tools. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part provides the theoretical background for the practical part. It describes the importance of analytical applications, data modeling, and the different theoretical steps for creating a data model. The second part analyses the current data analysis process in the enterprise. In the last part of the paper, the creation and subsequent implementation of automation using a data model is described.
Optimization of Business Processes Using Business Intelligence Tools
Žáčiková, Erika ; Luhan, Jan (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The final thesis deals with the optimization of business processes and the provision of a quality basis for managerial decision-making, which in itself represents a process. In later chapters, he presents the concept of Process Mining and, in the practical part, the application of acquired knowledge about process mining to the Purchase to Pay business process. The goal of this solution is to reveal weak links in the process flow, identify deviations from the reference process model and gain knowledge about real process performance. Based on this knowledge, aspects that can be optimized are proposed.
Sequential Reporting in a Healthcare IS
Adásek, Denis ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis focuses on mining sequential patterns in data, which consist of the history of actions performed by users of a healthcare management information system. The objective of the thesis is to design and implement an application that creates a predictive model based on frequent sequences. This model is capable of predicting potential subsequent actions based on those already taken. The outcome of the thesis includes valid predictions of possible user behaviors within the system based on performed activities.
Knowledge Discovery from Data of an Insurance Company
Kříž, Ondřej ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of knowledge discovery from databases. Its aim is to compile algorithmically processable datasets from operational data of an unnamed insurance company, which will subsequently be analyzed by functions of the scikit-learn library in the Python language using various classification algorithms and the FP-growth algorithm in the area of creating strong association rules and subsequent evaluation of results.
Anomaly Detection in Temporal Data
Ondria, Jozef ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis aims to select modern techniques and algorithms for anomaly detection in temporal data. It is necessary to implement the selected algorithms and then experimentally verify and compare them on a suitable dataset.
Tool for Processing Municipal Council Voting Data
Janošík, Adam ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Zaklová, Kristýna (advisor)
The aim of this work was to design a generic tool for data transformation of input data into data model of reference. Tool was created to be applicable for any possible dataset. Developed solution was implemented as a Python script, which, according to specified meta file, performs data transformation over input data. The correctness of data transformation into reference model was verified by importing the data in an visualizing app that allowed to check the correctness of the transformed data. Developed solution makes data transformation of different data easier. Tool can be used as a part of the project of data visualization.
Data Mining Based Web Analyzer of Job Advertisements
Wittner, Alex ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Sikora, Marek (advisor)
Knowledge Discovery from Spatio-Temporal Data
Liptáková, Daša ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with knowledge discovery from spatio-temporal data. Firstly, it describes the general principles of knowledge discovery and then knowledge discovery from spatio-temporal data, where it mainly focuses on methods for detecting outlying trajectories of moving objects. In the next section, the thesis describes the design and implementation of the mining task and demonstration application. Finally, several experiments are performed over three different datasets.
Use of Data Mining in Company Processes
Měchura, Dalibor ; Kříž, Jiří (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
This masters thesis focuses on data mining techniques and business intelligence analysis. In accordance with the analysis of the current situation in the company, a complementary solution to the problem is proposed and a view of the existing data is provided from a different perspective, namely using RapidMiner. The output of the thesis is thus concrete analytical outputs for decision support in the company.
