Jurák, Štěpán ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design a energy-saving detached house located on the outskirts in the village of Šumice, located of Uherské Hradiště district. The house consists of two floors, with a second-floor step-in terrace, a flat sedum roof on the top, and a one-car garage. The main entrance is facing the northwest. The social area of the house is on the first floor, including a dressing room, a utility room, a bathroom, a toilet, a study room, and a living room that is connected to the kitchen and dining room. The quiet zone is on the second floor, consisting of two children's rooms, a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a bathroom, a toilet, and a small storage room. The house is based on concrete foundation strips. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from ceramic blocks with thermal insulation. Horizontal load-bearing structures are reinforced concrete slabs. The building is heated by the air-water heat pump. The main heating system is a floor heating system combined with radiators and towel radiators. The utility room is designed with mechanical ventilation with a heat recovery unit. Exhaust and intake are located on the north facade. Fresh air is supplied in living rooms and exhaust air suction in the garage, bathrooms, and walk-in closet. The building is connected to the water mains and the combined sewer. In the heat pump is installed a hot water cylinder. Stormwater accumulated in the tank then used for toilet flushing and watering the garden.
Heating design of the apartment building
Hiršová, Denisa ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Maurerová, Lenka (advisor)
My bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of heating and hot water supply for a new residential building. In the theoretical part, I concentrate on heating elements, with a detailed focus on convectors. The calculation part involves the design and calculation of the building's heat losses, followed by the selection of suitable heating elements and the assessment of fittings that are part of the heating and hot water system. I propose using condensing gas boilers as the heat source. The project part includes graphical representations of the proposed project, specifically the project documentation at the level of execution documentation. The final part of the thesis contains a technical report, which includes complete project documentation and appendices.
Heating system for apartment building using BIM process
Jiránková, Tereza ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Maurerová, Lenka (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of heating and hot water provision for a new residential building using BIM methodology. The theoretical part extensively discusses the basic principles and functioning of building information modeling. Within the computational section, a design and calculation of the thermal losses of the given object are performed, followed by a proposal for heating elements and an assessment of individual fixtures that constitute part of the heating and hot water preparation system. Condensing gas boilers are proposed for heating the residential building. The project section includes graphical representation of the proposed project. In the final part of the thesis, a technical report is provided containing complete project documentation along with appendices.
Design of a heat source for heating a family house
Stoklásek, Martin ; Linda, Jakub (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of an optimal heat source for heating a family house. The first part introduces common technologies for heating and hot water. In the second part, a specific family house is analysed, including the calculation of heat losses and annual heat demand. In addition, calculations are made for the insulated variant of this house and for the variant with a higher number of inhabitants. The third part focuses on the specific design of new heat sources for each variant of the house, including calculations of operating costs, acquisition and return on investment. The final part of the paper compares the proposed heat sources. The results show that the ideal heat source for the designed house is a gas condensing boiler. It is also confirmed that the insulation of the house is economically advantageous.
Comparison of heat sources for family houses
Barvíř, Ondřej ; Lisá, Hana (referee) ; Toman, Filip (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on heating sources for residential houses with varying heat losses and is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part introduces various heating sources for residential houses. The second practical part economically compares heat sources on specific residential houses with different heat losses.
Apartment building heating
Schindler, Alexandr ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Topič, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design the heating and hot water preparation system of an apartment building. The theoretical part discusses with the principle of operation of pumps, their classification according to their construction and their use. Circulation pumps for heating are described in detail. The calculation part includes the calculation of the temperature balance, the design of the source for heating and hot water, the design of the heating system and then the design and assessment of individual devices and control valves. The design part includes the design documentation prepared at the level of the construction documentation and the technical report. The design part is based on the calculation part.
Single-family house
Kapounová, Kristýna ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to design a nearly zero-energy single-family house. It is located in newly developed area in Ústí nad Orlicí. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first is part of the thesis includes architectural and structural designs and assessment of building physics (acoustic, lightning, thermal parameters) and fire safety, the second part focuses on the design of selected building services and energy performance of the building. The building has two stories and attached garage with workroom which has one storey. The building has gable roof and garage has green flat roof. The main entrance is situated to the north. On the first floor is situated living space of the house with living room connected to dining room and kitchen. Other rooms on the first floor are office, bathroom, toilet, utility room. On the second floor is a private zone where is master bedroom, two children bedrooms, wardrobe, bathroom, and toilet. The building is based on foundation strips made from plain concrete and concrete blocks with steel reinforcements. The walls are design from ceramic blocks and floor slabs are design from prefabricated beams and ceramic infills. The building envelope is insulated with mineral wool. Air conditioning in the house is ensured by a mechanical ventilation with recuperation. Waste water is directed into sewer system. Rain water is stored in an accumulation tank and from there into infiltration blocks, then water is also used for garden irrigation. Hot water is supplied by 200l hot water cylinder. Electricity is secured by photovoltaic panels with storage batteries and second source is public network. Heating is serviced by air-to-water heat pump and secondary source is fireplace with exchanger. Heat distribution is provided by floor heating system.
Heating and cooling of the administrative building with hall
Hečko, Jakub ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Topič, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of heating and cooling for an administrative building with a storage hall. The theoretical part focuses on large-area radiant heating. The computational part includes a detailed design of heating for the administrative building with a storage hall and a design for cooling the administrative building. The administrative building is heated by underfloor heating, while the storage hall is heated using hot water radiant panels. Cooling for the administrative building is designed using two-pipe cassette fan coil units. The source of heat and cold is an inverter air-to-water heat pump. Ventilation is considered forced, using air handling units. The design of hot water preparation is addressed as a priority. The project part includes drawing documentation and a technical report.
Heating of the veterinary clinic building
Řeháková, Denisa ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of heating for a veterinary clinic. The theoretical part focuses on hydraulic balancing of heating systems. The basic principles of hydraulics, distribution of heating systems, hydraulic regulation of heating systems and fittings for hydraulic balancing are described here. The dimensioning of one-pipe and two-pipe heating systems is analyzed in the last part. The calculation part of this thesis contains the design of the building's heating. An air-water heat pump is chosen as the heat source. The building is heated by plate heaters in a hygienic design, and ventilation is mainly solved as forced with four air-conditioning units. The preparation of hot water is a priority for consumption peaks. The last part of the thesis is the project, containing a technical report and drawing documentation.
