Automatic Antenna Tuner
Šváb, Jaroslav ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This degree work deals with the design and implementation of an automatic antenna tuner for short-wave transmitters. The device works within the short-wave range in (1.5 MHz - 30 MHz) band according to the selection of the given frequency. Its principle is that the tuner has a small range of adapted impedances, but it is usually sufficient for fine tuning of most deviations in the system of antenna 50 - feeder 50 - transceiver outlet 50 . It is also equipped with memories which the settings for the individual bands or frequency segments are stored into. Then the transition from one band to another is quick, easy and, first of all, safe, which is a great advantage. In automatic mode, a SWR limit from which the tuner should start to tune can be set. Interconnection with a TRX is not necessary in a fully automatic mode, the device tunes automatically after keying if the set limit of SWR has been exceeded. The automatic tuning is very quick with this device, if the antenna being tuned is not stored in the memory the tuning lasts ca 0.5 - 6 s, if the tuner uses the memory. It could be said that the work with the tuner is without problems, it is possible to learn to control it in a short time. The tuner is small and light. The result of the whole project is a compact device controlled by the user by means of push buttons.
Resonant and quasi-resonant converters
Krška, Vlastimil ; Sedláček, Jiří (referee) ; Murina, Milan (advisor)
Project is engaged in concept and realization of quasi – resonant converter with switching in minimum voltage which derive benefit from resonance capacitor and inductor. It is one of the possibilities how to increase efficiency of switch – mode power supply. While using resonant converters the losses are reduced, when the resonant inductor will connect and disconnect at zero current in inductor, or at zero voltage on inductor. Base of the power supply is chip NCP1337. Concept comes from detailed analysis functions of integrated curcuit and others curcuits of switch – mode power supply. Project includes a complete concept of all partial curcuits, description of a construction and the main parameters measured on the realized sample.
Defects and properties of heavy castings
Sobotka, Petr ; Carbol, Zdeněk (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
A diploma thesis was objected to a figure analyzing and a figure interpretation of ingot processing. The described figures were obtained from samples which were taking from feeder-heads of ingot of lower ram, produced in Vitkovice Machinery Group. The thesis was focused on ingot solidification and segregation processes which were associated with this procedure. The figures obtained from numeric simulation of ingot solidification in defined places were analyzed using statistic method – linear regression, as well as linear regression was used for evaluation of explored samples, their chemical compositions and mechanical properties. In conclusion all acquired results were summarized.
Friction and air feeders for paper sheets
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Košťál, David (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
The thesis is focused on summarizing the evidence on the issue of paper sheets feeding at the final processing of documents. The thesis includes dividing of paper feeders, their characterization, and description of friction and air feeders, which are most widespread. As a model for the description methods of sheets feeding were used machinery CFM 700 and GPM 540A of Cyklos company. The thesis also compares friction and air feeding from the constructional point of view. The conclusion focuses on the new methods in the paper feeding in future.
Design of automatic feeder of movable shelfs of storage system SSL LogiMat
Stoklásek, Tomáš ; Dlesk, Daniel (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is automatic movable shelves feeder design. the feeder is part of vertical lift storage system Logimat Total weight of movable shelf is 760 kg. The technical report contains feeder design calculation, feeder’s main parts strength calculation and the design of the way of picking the movable shelf from the storage lift. The report also contains feeder’s frame strength analysis using finite element method and sensor design for motion control.
Design and realization of automatically parameterizable tape-in-feeder.
Zmítko, Václav ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with design and development of a parameterizable Tape in feeder attachment of an automatized programming machine Storm. Tape in feeder is a device which carries the tape with chips into the machine. This parameterizable feeder will be directly replaceable with the Hover-Davis feeders which are using the same installation space and communication interface. Feeder will be designed in a way, that accommodates for different tape widths and contains functions to simplify manufacturing process.
Contradictions analysis of small water power Ostravice.
Kupčík, Roman ; Skoták, Aleš (referee) ; Haluza, Miloslav (advisor)
The main subject of the diploma thesis „Contradiction analysis of small water power Ostravice“ is solution of reduced output of small water power plant on the river Ostravice near the town Vratimov. Power plant equippment is axial flow Kaplans turbine RA – 3,5 – 0 1000 with runner diametr 1000 mm. Low output is caused by draft tube. New draft tube is designed in this masters thesis. For hydraulic layout was used CFD software Fluent. The aim of this work is finding of optimal shape which leads to increasing of power from current 30 kW to projected 55 kW.
Current distribution on linear antennas
Novák, Tomáš ; Bártík, Hynek (referee) ; Nováček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work will describe current distribution measurement problems along antenna conductor using a probe (coupling loop), which is attached to selective micro-voltmeter, which will indicate signal level (voltage). The signal level will be used for representing the current distribution. Subsequently, measuring workplace issues from generator to antenna conductor, probe and selective micro-voltmeter, will be discussed. Analysis of voltages of this link-up and additional study will be conducted. Other parameters, which complement this situation, will be calculated from the current distribution. A computer program, which calculates these parameters and speeds up the collected data processing, will be used for this process.
Exploitation of Machine Learning for Identification of Feeder Rod Movement
Vele, Patrik ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a device that uses machine learning methods to recognize the movements of a feeder fishing rod based on data from an inertial measurement unit. The introductory part is devoted to the feeder fishing technique, the selection of important movements and the possibilities of attaching the detection device to the rod. This is followed by the creation of a theoretical basis in the field of machine learning, familiarization with the inertial measurement unit and the issue of classification. The acquired knowledge is used to select appropriate techniques for solving the task of recognizing the movements of the rod. In the practical part, a detection device based on the ESP32 platform is designed and created. This is initially used as a motion sensor, which, in combination with the processing of the measured values, serves as a generator of a training data set. The work continues with the implementation of the convolutional neural network, the learning process on the created dataset and the integration of the most successful model into the detection device. The conclusion is devoted to testing in practice, evaluation and possibilities of future development. The result is a small, battery-powered device that, when attached to any feeder rod, provides highly successful detection of all key movements during the hunt. In addition, thanks to wireless communication via ESP-NOW, it is possible to send the results to various devices.
Automatic profile insertion
