Catalytic Methods in Decrease of N2O Emissions: II. Catalysts Based on Hydrotalcites – Results of Investigation.
Pacultová, K. ; Obalová, L. ; Kovanda, F. ; Jirátová, Květa ; Lacný, Z. ; Valášková, M.
Activity of the two- and three component catalysts prepared by calcinations of Ni, Cu, Co, Mn, Mg, Al hydrotalcites in various molar ratios, partly modified with Pt, Pd, La, or K, was studied. Influence of O2, NOx, or H2O present in the reaction mixture on activity and stability of the most active catalyst was also investigated. Based on the laboratory results the size of a hypothetical industrial reactor was calculated.
Reductive Dehalogenation of Halogenated Aliphatic and Aromatic Organic Compounds with Metals.
Kaštánek, František ; Maléterová, Ywetta ; Šťastný, J. ; Richter, K. ; Rott, J. ; Čížek, Z.
The aim of this contribution is to supply information about the feasibility of reductive dehalogenation of selected pollutants (4-chlorophenol, PCB, PBDE, 1,2-dichloro ethane, vinylchloride) in synthetic and real waters on experiments in laboratory scale with bimetallic reductive catalyst (Pd/Fe). This method is applicable as combined process consequently with bioremediation as well, partial products of reduction are more easily biodegradable. This method could be appear for removing of polybrominated biphenylethers from water sediments, till this time there are not exist methods for removing of it from the environment.
Detailed Composition of the Low-Calorific Producer Gas from the Fluid-Bed Gasification of Biomass.
Pohořelý, Michael ; Vosecký, Martin ; Skoblia, Sergej ; Kameníková, Petra ; Punčochář, Miroslav ; Vošta, J. ; Svoboda, Karel
The gaseous product from gasification (producer gas) can be effectively utilized in a variety of ways including power generation, production of chemicals, fuels for transport and substitution of natural gas for heating. The gasification technology, needed gas composition and cleaning, tolerable contents of impurities, toxic compounds and heating value of the producer gas are determined usually by the end user of the gas.
Monitoring of Selected Organic Pollutants in Flue Gases of MSWI TERMIZO.
Šyc, Michal ; Pekárek, Vladimír ; Novák, P. ; Fišerová, Eva ; Punčochář, Miroslav
Polychlorinated benzenes (PCBz), polychlorianted phenols (PCPh) and polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/F) were monitored on different sampling points in flue gases of MSWI TERMIZO. There are changes in concetrations and congener profiles of these substances in air pollution control devices of waste incineration plants. The most considerable changes are observed in devices working on catalytic base and wet scrubbers.
