Transport hrubých částic v nenewtonovských suspenzích
Vlasák, Pavel ; Chára, Zdeněk ; Konfršt, Jiří
The paper deals with flow behaviour of slurries containing colloidal, clay, dust and also coarse-grained particles. The slurry flow behaviour changes form Newtonian to non-Newtonian in dependence on the solid phase concentration and composition, especially on the contents of colloidal particles. Flow behaviour of fluidic fly and bottom ash slurries, clay and sand slurries was experimentally investigated with respect to the solids composition, volumetric concentrationa and slurry velocity. The re-circulation pipe loop with smooth stainless steel pipes of the inner diameters D = 17.5, 26.8 and 36 mm was used for measuring the slurry flow parameters. Also the effect of time and intensity of shearing was studied for time dependent fluidic ash slurries
Experimmentální výzkum a numerické modelování proudění v okolí překážek umístěných na dně kanálu
Hoření, Bohumír ; Chára, Zdeněk
The paper deals with an application of integral equations on a wake flow. Two square cylinders oriented perpendicularly to flow direction are placed on the bottom of an open channel. The results of integral method are compared with LDA measurements and with Fluent k-? simulation. Besides the averaged results that offers Fluent simulation, the integral method can also simultae dynamical properties of the flow
Vývoj simulační linky okruhu kardiovaskulárního systému
Chlup, Hynek ; Konvičková, S.
Simulation line of cardiovascular systém will be designed for setting velocity pulse wave in inserted sample of vein, thinwall tube and identification material properties of wall sample. This is a systemic circuit. 5 circuits were created in which were compared two possible simulations systemic resistance working on different principle. It was observed behaviour of individual line elements and their mutual influence. Done experiments shown optimal arranging of line elements.

In paper is described procedure of design of bearing. The acting force is measured in real mashine. From this value is calculated durability of a new bearing.
Design of small laboratory quadruped robot
Švehlák, M. ; Grepl, Robert ; Věchet, S. ; Bezdíček, M. ; Chmelíček, J.
In the article is a sum dectripcion of the design of a small quadrupedal walking robot. The aim of the work is to make a physical model for authenticating computational simulation and other problems related with walking robots. The physical model should be noted for simple design, unpretentious production and relatively small financial coast. The physical model is qualified enough to make various experiments. The actuators are concepted in reference to the character of the loading moment.
Collision States Detection For Quadruped Robot Motion
Chmelíček, J. ; Grepl, Robert ; Bezdíček, M. ; Švehlák, M.
Detection of collision states among single parts of robot strucure is essential problem, that is necessary to solve at robot movement in virtual space, in mathematical models based on substitutes of real structures by rigid bodies and above all at robot safe movement.
Artificial neural network application to walk of a four legged robot
Bezdíček, M. ; Grepl, Robert ; Švehlák, M. ; Chmelíček, J.
This paper presents simple method to extrapolate walk of a four legged robot. Movement of the robot is actuated by twelve servo-drives. This technique of walking is based on a few stable positions of robot body. To reach smooth movement, is sequence of positions extrapolated by artificial neural network. ANN is trained directly on values of servo angles.
Pravděpodobnost porušení keramické hlavice se změřenými tvarovými odchylkami na kontaktních plochách s různou polohou proti protikusu
Fuis, Vladimír
The paper deals with the problems of the failure probability of the ceramic part. There are considered the macro and micro shape deflections of the contacted cone areas. The macro shape deflection is different conicity of the contacted parts, micro shape deflections are the local shape deflection which are added with the macro shape deflections. The problems of the stress and probability of failure are solved using computational modelling.
