Rudolf Matúš: Nábytkový sedací prvek s použitím lamelových, případně tvarově překližovaných prvků. Hlavní náplní této bakalářské práce je návrh a výroba sedacího prvku dle zadání. První část práce je věnována teorii, problematice sezení, seznámení s používanými materiály, ergonomii atd. Po dokončení teoretické části následuje část praktická, která shrnuje teoretické informace z úvodu práce a je doplněna o zkoušení prototypu na pevnost a stabilitu.

Cyprus in a new security environment

Diploma thesis "Cyprus in a New Security Environment" deals with security perception in The Republic of Cyprus in the aftermath of the Cold War. It brings a closer look at the new security patterns that developed after the fall of the Iron curtain and introduces the typology of states in international relations, security sectors and the threats associated as well as referent objects of security in the post-Cold War setting. Cyprus, its history, current political and economic situation provides the basis of the study for categorization of Cyprus on the basis of Srensen's typology and Copenhagen school's view of security studies. Thesis classifies Cyprus as a specific example of country with outward features and security dilemma of the postmodern state. However it is rather difficult to categorize it in Srensen's typology of states because of unresolved dispute and its impact on Cyprus' security environment. Copenhagen school provides a framework for examination of Cyprus security environment in accordance with five security sectors (military, political, societal, economic, environmental) and the thesis finds the conclusion that island is threatened in each security sector portrayed. Cyprus dispute - current challenges

Diplomová práce Kyperská otázka -- aktuální výzvy se zabývá současnou politickou situací na Kypru a bi-komunálními rozhovory mezi rozdělenou řecko- kyperskou a turecko- kyperskou entitou žijící na ostrově. Jednání probíhají pod záštitou vnějších aktérů a pod vlivem stran zainteresovaných v konfliktu. Primární zodpovědnost za ně přebrala politická reprezentace Kyperské republiky a TRNC. Práce prezentuje alternativy řešení konfliktu, perspektivy potenciálního vývoje událostí ve sjednocujícím procesu a jejich možné dopady na kyperské prostředí. Představuje nejvýznamnější plány mezinárodní komunity na politické uspořádání ostrova a dosáhnutí dohody v chronologickém pořadí od konce druhé světové války až po aktuální řešení vycházející ze současných tendencí vývoje. Tyto návrhy byly koncipovány na základě mezinárodně-politického kontextu a vnitro-politické situace na Kypru v období anti-koloniálního zápasu vedoucího ke vzniku samostatné Kyperské republiky, ústavnímu kolapsu, vypuknutí násilí na ostrově, turecké invazi, vyhlášení nezávislosti Severo-kyperské turecké republiky, vstupu Kyperské republiky do EU až po současnost.
