Proposal for a Personal Development Plan for a Manager Operating in a Small Company

This bachelor’s thesis deals with a proposal for a development plan for a manager operating in a small company. The theoretical part includes a literature review regarding problematic of managers, competencies, competency model, and development of managers. In the analytical part, the manager, and the company he works in are briefly described. Chosen analytical and research methods are used in the analytical part to identify the competencies and create a competency model, which is later validated, and the level of competencies presented is measured. The last part contains the final proposal of a development plan for the manager, which should lead to better work performance and, subsequently, better results for the company.
