Ecotoxicological study of fluoroquinolone antibiotics mixture

Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology Candidate: Lucie Křížková Supervisor: RNDr. Jitka Vytlačilová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Ecotoxicological study of fluoroquinolone antibiotics mixture This thesis is focused on ecotoxicological evaluation of the risk of two fluoroquinolone antibiotics - ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin. A multigenerational test with a protozoan Tetrahymena thermophila, which is based on the model of microbiotest of Protoxkit F, has been used for their evaluation. The inhibitory effect of the tested substances on growth and reproduction of organisms has been observed. The dependence between inhibitory effect and concentration of the pharmaceuticals had been detected, and than the values of 24h EC50 have been calculated. During the tests, the phototoxic potential of both antibiotics has been observed and also the mixtures of ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin (1:1, 1:2, 2:1) have been tested. Using of yoga at kindergartens in South Bohemian region

Bachelor thesis Use Yoga in kindergartens in the South Bohemian region deals with the ways of implementation and dissemination of yoga exercises among preschool children. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether they are in nursery schools of the South Bohemian region used yoga exercises, which serves as a means to develop motor and mental abilities of the child. Work focuses on theoretical knowledge of child development at preschool age, yoga exercises and on the practical usefulness of yoga in kindergartens. The practical part then serves as a guide for kindergarten teachers. There is contained a number of ideas and inspiration with which you can work in physical education in kindergarten throughout the school year. The practical part maps the frequency and ways of using yoga in kindergartens in the South Bohemian region and suggests ways you can support the introduction of yoga exercises in kindergarten. It was found that yoga exercises are at kindergartens South Bohemian region an integral part of methods to ensure the psychomotor development of preschool children.

Hodnocení realizace biokoridoru v Dubicku (Mohelnice)

The aim of the thesis was to evaluate of the biocorridor Hosena. The major criteria were the quality of plantings, compliance with the spatial arrangement defined in the project documentation, and the assessment of the growth status. Moreover, the quality of the maintenance and its influence on the status of the biocorridor was evaluated. Based on the results, an analytical map was created depicting deviations of the current status from the planting plan specified in the project documentation. The obtained results were employed in the preparation of a proposal map, which included a summary of recommended wood species for further plantings and suggestions for the removal of inappropriate species. Improvement measures regarding the biocorridor maintenance were recommended upon evaluation of the overall implementation of the project.
